Westwood Village Memorial Park is the place that Marilyn Monroe spend the life after death. Before, I visit this place often time because it close to my English center. Whenever, we talk about cemetery, we will think about something sad, lonely and didn't want to step on this sad place, but not at Westwood Village Memorial Park.

The atmosphere of this place is shady and quiet. Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Memorial Park is located on 1218 Glendon Street. It was officially established in 1905 as the Sunset Cemetery, but in 1926 it was renamed Westwood Village Memorial Park or West Memorial Park. During this time, they began serving the growing nearby community of UCLA. In 1952, our first mausoleum was built on the grounds—now there are 10 beautiful mausoleums throughout the park.

In 1961, the chapel was built on the south side of the cemetery property. This chapel has a 30-foot white quartz wall, high ceilings and a distinctly open design that allows for plenty of natural light. The chapel can seat more than 100 people and accommodates flexible seating options.

It is the resting place of many celebrities like Marilyn Monroe, a former American actress, singer and model who famous for the role of "dumb blonde", the creator of Playboy Magazine, Hugh Hefner is buried in a mortuary beside the grave of Marilyn Monroe. He died in 1962 before that he bought the area at a price of up to 75,000 US dollars, or about 2.5 million baht to live near Marilyn Monroe. There are many celebrities who are here at Westwood Village Memorial Park, including Buddy Rich, musician Jaz and Dorothy Stratten, a former Canadian model lover who was assassinated in 1989.

This place is more than a cemetery. Every time, I visit this place. I can feel the love from people who visiting here. It makes me realize that life is based on uncertainty. life is amazing and full with wonder. Life is like traveling on an endless road, like a big book, like a large data warehouse. Sometimes we may feel that life is difficult. But please don't forget that we still have people around us who love and care. Although today may not have any hoped but someday it may be ours as long as we have breath. Because when is the last day come, we won't even have time to see the light of tomorrow. We will have no chance to do anything anymore.
