U Pattaya Hotel is located beside the beach, around Jomtien-Bangseri area. The hotel's design is harmonious with surrounding nature, according to the idea of "Fishing Village". U Pattaya Hotel is a small size 5-star hotel. There are 44 rooms and villas in total; 25 rooms on building, 19 Pool Villas plus 3 Beach Front Pool Villas (a villa with private pool in front of beach). The room size is from 32 to 90 SQM

One day prior to the trip, we visited hotel's website and saw lots of beautiful photos. We were curious whether the real place would look the same as photos or not.

The location is near Suan Nongnuch or a little bit further from Cartoon Network Water Park.

Special services according to U Hotel's standard are as follow;

1. Breakfast Whenever/Wherever - Guests can choose to have breakfast anytime and anywhere

2. 24-hour Accommodation - Guests can check in anytime and use the room for 24 hours until checking out.

3. U Choose Programme - Guests can select stuffs in the room by themselves such as pillows, soap scent, tea and music in the room.

This building has 3 floors with 25 rooms. The rooms here are not too expensive.

It is the first Beach Front Pool Villa, out of 3, next to the sea.

Room no. is 501.

This is the map of hotel. You can see our private pool is connected with main pool but our pool is higher.

But you can still move to main pool. I will provide photos for better understanding.

Inside the room.

Private pool connected with main pool. People in the large pool couldn't see us because our private pool is 0.5m. higher.

I can stay here all day, no need to go out.

If you are coming as a group, you can book this villa plus other rooms on the building. Then everyone can hang out here.

Next is big sofa set in the room.

Large space with comfy bed, suitable with the price.

The room is so beautiful that we spend time in the room all day.

This is the service "Breakfast Whenever/Wherever".

Would like to recommend you to try breakfast in bed or for those who wake up late, it can be lunch as well.

Or having breakfast at the terrace in front where you can jump into the water after finishing the meal.

Moving to lunch, the hotel provides lunch set at 490 THB per set. Let's see what we got.

Following by dessert in the set.

We also try a la carte menu which is Australian beef burger at 270 THB.

So big that couldn't finish by one person.

To sum up, this meal is less than 1000 THB

Lunch on another day is provided by staff because they would like us to experience how well they can do. So, bring it on. We will not mention about each dish but, in conclusion, the food is good & not expensive. Suites for having meal at hotel and save time than going out. In addition, staffs are very polite.

Now we are bringing you to another room type which is Garden Villa Room. Around 3000 THB depending on high or low seasons.

This is the Villa, no private pool but having Jacuzzi for 2 persons instead.

The night atmosphere is also romantic.

We would say having dinner at the hotel is better than going out according to this romantic ambiance.

There is also air conditioning zone but we prefer outdoor one. We would like to absorb the atmosphere.

This corner is interesting but you might get backache.

Or beside the pool.

Don't forget to order cocktail during Happy Hour, 190 THB for 2 glasses.

Our dinner is "Pad Thai Goong Sod" (stir fried rice noddle with shrimp). There are 3 banana shrimps in a serve. Very delicious.

This dish is more special. A Grilled Barramundi with Sauce at 380 THB. This is superb.

The bill for this meal is less than 1000 THB, with 2 drinks included. Having wonderful meal without going out.

Another highlight is Roof Top Bar which is on top of restaurant.

Moving to breakfast.

For those who prefer having breakfast at restaurant, buffet breakfast is provided up until 11am. Or you can unlimitedly order from the list.

This is what we would like recommend and plan to visit again next time (although have to pay by ourselves).
