Hotel Review: VIP Room Sheraton Hotel, Atlantic City

Whether it’s the welcoming sight of the heated indoor pool or the latest workout facilities in the health club, when it’s time to unwind, you’ll find plenty of choices. Nearby, walk barefoot in the soft sands, or set out on a day of fishing. Is your sport tennis or golf? Friendly staff will connect you with whatever activity is at the top of your list, including tee times at area courses. ACCOMMODATION

With the calming and quiet ambiance of a beautiful old library, my VIP Corner Suite would be the perfect hideaway to catch up on some work. With subtle yet luxurious wood paneling and furniture lit by tasteful lighting and a large, open lounge space illuminated by floor to ceiling windows, the suite offers a mature and peaceful environment to take in the lights of the city below. Homely touches like the pastel-coloured scatter cushions and fragrant flowers add a really personal touch.

My king-size bed was covered in more pillows and cushions than I could count and the coziest blankets to warm up from the freezing temperatures outside. But without a doubt, the highlight has to be the wide bathtub perfectly placed in front of the window looking down on the city below with deliciously scented aromatic bubbles to sink underneath. Other great features of the suite are the fitted kitchen featuring a fridge, microwave and coffee machine, while the enormous bathroom is generously equipped with luxury products, bathrobes and a huge walk-in shower.

AREA GUIDE

Outlets are right across the street and short walk to casinos so location is great! Has a bridge to convention center so that you don’t have to go outside. hotel is a couple of blocks from beach/boardwalk.

The stylish Shoe Bar is a great place to enjoy cocktails and light appetizers. AMENITIES

They offer a large indoor heated pool within the first-floor fitness center, available to all hotel guests for rigorous laps or a lazy, refreshing dip. Chairs and umbrellas surround the pool. Room service during lunch and dinner hours is available at poolside. Towels are provided in pool area.

The seasonal outdoor whirlpool and sundeck is located just outside the indoor pool area, and is furnished with chaise lounge chairs. Open to all guests from Memorial Day through Labor Day, weather permitting.

State-of- the-art Fitness Center boasts full facilities just around the corner from the outdoor pool area, from men’s and women’s locker rooms with showers and water fountain in the exercise area to an outdoor sun patio to step out and catch some rays pre- or post- workout. Access to the fitness center is complimentary with your room key, and 24-hour access is available.

It was so difficult to choose between the breakfast options that I just decided to have all of them! Beginning with fresh fruits and berries followed by a delicious omelette and crunchy toast and finally the best part, generous helpings of perfectly cooked ham, bacon and crispy potato hash browns.

Attentive, sweet, full of energy and gave us great tips about the area, staff was kind with good positive attitudes.
