A short trip during weekend anyone? If you love a local lifestyle community, enjoy natural trails and good foods. I would like to recommend a place called "Bang Nam Phueng Floating Market" located at Bang Nam-Phueng, Prapadaeng, Samutprakarn Province.
Bang Nam-Phueng Market, or some called Bang Nam-Phueng Floating Market, open around 08.00-16.00pm on weekends and holidays only.
The highlights of Bang Nam-Phueng Market are that there are varieties of foods here, a lot actually.
Every store I have walked by, I just want to taste and eat it all.
Moreover, there are the tree/flower shops which might not be the main sources nonetheless they seem to capture and be the one that charm this floating market place as well.
There is at least one trees/flower shop selling along the corner of the floating market.
In this following review, it is just only a small part of the trip. If you would like to take the full version, you would have to take a trip once by yourself.
Mochi ice-cream homemade nice favor ice-cream filling. you can select each ice-cream flavors by piece.
We arrive in the sunny day; therefore, before taking a walk, I choose to buy the Mochi ice-cream with milk flavor. Mochi cake has a nice sticky bite with tasty milk ice-cream flavor. It is quite delicious and also smells so good.
When we walking inside, I could smell the aroma of Mee Krop (the sweet crispy noodles) which hits my nose right away. and surely, I follow the smell and find hot sweet crispy noodles stir fried in the hot pan, newly made and put on sale that I can hardly wait to taste.
Tod Mun (Thai fried fish cake) puffs up and floats in the pan, looks so yummy.
It is suitable for dipping and walking at the same time in this kind of market's atmosphere.
If you want to eat a little bit more. Here, there is also a nice Hor MoK Bai Bua (Steamed Thai fish custard in the lotus leaf) to choose from or you can buy and take home.
Granma's shop, which sells only Khanom Tien dessert, unwrapped and put them on display.
While taking a walk and begin to feel full then again I still want to try Granma's Khanom Tien. Thus, I stop by and buy one. The lady smiles at me and then put Khanom Tien in the bag at the same time.
I hurried to say that no need for the bag, I will unwrap and take a bite here. The cost is just 5 baht per piece.
Multi-Colored Salted Eggs, somehow the color looks so bright that I feel scared to try.
Khao Mak (Thai fermented sweet rice dessert) from Bang Nam Phueng market.
Fresh made desserts
I am not sure what is called, maybe "Thong Muan Sod"?? (A soft Thai rice flour pancake roll)
Who would like to drink fresh coconut juice? This just costs 15 baht.
Most interesting menu will be; charcoal grilled squid roe wrapped with banana leaf.
The smell is awesome dipping with spicy sauce, I'm loving it.
I would suggest you should eat it when it is still hot and newly made from the stove so that the smell of coconut leaf with grilled squid roe is still there.
Tod Mun Pla Muek (Thai fried squid cake) looks delicious as well by the way.
This shop is quite crowded and the desserts that just put on the tray nearly gone now.
Poo Ja (Savory crab meat) is 20 baht per piece.
This shop is making Kha Nom Nga Kra Jok.
Packing and ready to sell.
A long queue in front of this sausage shop, looking good but too bad I did not taste it because there are lots of people queue up. I will try it next time for sure.
Nam Prik Long Rua (Sweet chili paste) with vegetables looks tasty.
Local market like this certainly has banana for sales.
Cherry tomato, I bought it to-go, put it in the refrigerator. Eat it fresh, it tastes so sweet and crispy.
Foods made by Bang Nam Pheung local people and Nam Prik packed in the small boxes.
Variety kind of Thai desserts you can choose from.
There are so many shops that sold Look Tal Loy Kaew (Young palm seed in syrup), it has a sweet smell and the taste maybe differing but the palm seed of each shop look young and delicious.
A lot of Thai desserts shop, cut and sold in pieces, cost 10 baht per piece.
This market offers many kinds of desserts. The dessert lovers would surely love it.

Nam Pla Wan (Sweet fish sauce) with Talingpling (Bilimbi) makes my mouthwatering.
Boiled bean.
Organic vegetables which can guarantee surely they are non-toxic.
Local vegetables are sold in many stores.
Some type of vegetables which I have not seen before.
A lot of small stores which sell mushroom spawn.
In this hot weather, we need cool water for sure.
The lady is so friendly; she smiles to everyone that passes by. And says, it's ok if you don't buy but you can take a look first.
She sells lamp and other appliances crafted from coconut shell.
I stand at the near distance, smile and secretly take photos as she smiles and greet people who are passing by.
Wooded appliances.
Bear group super cute!
This shop is located at the foot of a river bridge; they have cactus and ant plant hanging.
And those look very relaxing.
Let's see the cactus corner.
Many of them look really beautiful
There are moderately trees for sale.
Some of them were the fruit trees, merits trees.
Last picture.
I will leave the review of Bang Nam Phueng market with the music park corner; melodious chill of Thai songs at the green park and there are chairs to sit for relaxing. If you don't want to eat at the shop, you can take away, than relax and listen to the music while eating here.
Bang Nam Phueng market still has many more corners for everyone to discover and especially a lot of foods awaiting everyone to taste.
The charming I discovered from Bang Nam Phueng market is not only the local people who sell the goods but I also feel friendly personality of Bang Nam Phueng local merchants as well.
