Nana area is considered the heart of the tourist business and entertainment venues. If anyone comes to visit this area and wants to stay overnight for 1-2 nights, today I have a good place to stay that I would like to recommend, which is located on Sukhumvit Soi 8. This accommodation is Adelphi Suites.
Getting to Adelphi Suites is a breeze. If you're taking the BTS Skytrain, simply get off at Nana Station and use Exit 4. Walk into Sukhumvit Soi 8 for about 200 meters, and you'll find the hotel. It's just a 3-5 minute walk from the station.
In front of the hotel, there is a ramp leading up to the parking level.
During check-in, the staff brought a welcome drink and a cold towel. The welcome drink was tea, which was strong and slightly bitter. I think a sweet and fragrant herbal drink, such as lemongrass or pandan water, would be more refreshing.
Both sides of the Lobby have corners for guests to relax while waiting for Check in/Check out.
Located next to the Lobby is the Business Centre service, which provides 2 computers with internet access.
Let's take a look at the rooms. The first room type I'll show you is the Executive One Bedroom.
The security system here is quite good. To access the guest rooms, you need a card to use the elevator. Therefore, outsiders who are not guests will not be able to access the guest rooms. As for the corridor to the guest rooms on each floor, it is beautifully decorated.
The Executive One Bedroom is the most spacious room at Adelphi. Upon entering, you will find a living area with a sofa set for watching television and a small dining table.
In addition, there is a kitchen corner equipped with cooking utensils, including a microwave, refrigerator, electric stove, kettle, cups and plates, and even a washing machine.
Next to the living room is the bedroom area. The bedroom is quite spacious and has a small writing corner in front of the TV.
The bathroom features both a bathtub and a rain shower. A bidet is also available for your convenience.
The next room type is the Deluxe One Bedroom, which is slightly smaller than the Executive One Bedroom.
The Deluxe One Bedroom room type is similar to the Executive One Bedroom room type in that it is divided into a bedroom and a living room. The living room also has a food preparation area and kitchen equipment ready for use.
Seating area
Next to the living room is the bedroom, with a separate work desk area.
The usable space in the bathroom of this type is slightly smaller than the Executive One Bedroom bathroom. Although the area is smaller, the equipment has not been reduced in size. There is still a bathtub and a shower stall as before.
The last room type is the Studio room, which is the smallest room at Adelphi Suites.
Although it is the smallest room, it still retains the concept of Adelphi Suites, which means that there is still a space for food preparation. The only thing missing seems to be a washing machine. When you open the door, you will find the food preparation area right away.
Next to the food preparation area is the bedroom area. The space is quite spacious, with a sofa for sitting and a work desk. Take a look at the view outside the room. You can see many buildings and even a train running nearby.
Due to the size limitations of the room, this type of bathroom only has a Rain Shower. However, the layout and decoration will be the same as the first two types of bathrooms.
The wardrobe contains a bathrobe, slippers, a safe, and an umbrella.
And what I liked the most because I haven't seen many hotels do this is that each room has its own private router, so there's no problem with weak Wifi signal. Free Wifi here.
The view from my room shows a vast urban jungle.
The interior design of all 3 room types will be in a light brown tone using wood-patterned laminate sheets. The floor is also wood-patterned, making the room look comfortable. I myself would like to come back and decorate my bedroom like this as well.
Let's take a look at the amenities that Adelphi Suites has prepared for its guests.
The parking lot can accommodate about 10 cars. However, from my observation, 95% of the guests are foreigners. Most of them use taxi or train services.
The fitness center is located on the 16th floor, next to the swimming pool. It is open from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. There is a wide variety of fitness equipment available.
The highlight would be the swimming pool on the 16th floor. In the evening, the atmosphere is very good.
Although I didn't go swimming, I would recommend coming up to sit and watch the stars on the ground. The city lights are beautiful. It's a pity if there was a small bar, it would be cool.
In the evening, if you enjoy nightlife, you can come here to open your eyes and ears. Or if you like street food, you can also come here. Because from the mouth of the alley to the hotel, there is a wide variety of food to choose from, such as noodles, chicken rice, pork leg rice, Pad Thai, sticky rice with papaya salad and grilled chicken, fried meatballs, grilled fish, and various fruits. Or if you want to sit and drink while listening to soft music, you can use the service at Moonsoon Café & Restaurant. In the evening, there are a lot of guests using the service.
Let's take a look at the breakfast options. The Moonsoon Café & Restaurant will be open from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor entrance is located next to the Business Centre.
The interior of the restaurant is stylish and chic, with a raw, exposed-concrete aesthetic. The walls feature exposed brickwork, adding a touch of industrial charm.
The outdoor area also has a small bar, which is very popular with guests in the evenings.
The food line may not look very impressive, but I think the variety of food is just right for the number of hotel guests.
But what really impressed me was the Omelet. The chef roughly chopped the ingredients, including tomatoes, bell peppers, shiitake mushrooms, and ham, and added cheese. This allowed me to experience the different textures of the ingredients while eating. I think it's more flavorful than finely chopping everything, which only allows you to taste the egg.
It must be admitted that the location of Adelphi Suite is in a very good spot. Near the hotel is Bumrungrad Hospital. It is also close to shopping malls such as Time Square, Robinson, and Terminal 21, which can be reached on foot. And if you have the energy to walk a little further, you will reach Dinosaur Planet, Benjasiri Park, The Emporium, and The EmQuartier.
From my stay at Adelphi Suite, I would rate it 5 stars.
**S - Convenient for traveling to the hotel. Just a 3-minute walk from the BTS SkyTrain station. It is also close to 7-Eleven, shopping areas, and hospitals.**
S - Cleanliness The cleanliness of the room, including the surrounding areas of the hotel, must be given a thumbs up.
S - Comfortable in both body and mind. The bed, including the pillow, is very soft and comfortable. The amenities are quite complete. In addition, the staff is very welcoming.
Quiet - Although there are some pubs and bars around the hotel, once you enter the hotel, you will immediately feel the peace and quiet.
S - Beautiful. Since the hotel has just been renovated, the rooms here look new and beautiful. Especially the atmosphere of the swimming pool at night is very beautiful.
There are two points that I didn't like that much:
- The TV wasn't very clear.
- The exhaust fan in the bathroom was quite loud.
For those of you who are looking for accommodation in the Nana area, I think Adelphi Suites is a very interesting option. You can follow the news and promotions of Adelphi Suites on FB: https://www.facebook.com/AdelphiSuites
