Hello everyone who sees this post...........
This trip to Mon Chong was inspired by a post I read on Pantip.com.
There wasn't much to it when I decided to go this time. My heart wanted to go, and nothing could stop me...
Travel date 11/12/58 - 13/12/58
Let's start... I traveled with a tour company. The reason for this is that I thought it was the most convenient option.
I left Bangkok at 8:00 PM. The wheels are turning, let's go!
I took a car ride, dozing off and waking up intermittently. I stopped at a gas station along the way, but the one in Lamphang impressed me. It was super cold! I finally encountered some cool weather.
And finally, I arrived at Omkoi district… It's even colder than Lampang.
This is our rest stop. We brush our teeth, wash our faces, go to the bathroom, and eat. It's very cold, 8 degrees.
My hands are shaking from the cold, even though I'm sipping hot soup. We're going to prepare to get on the bus at the Doi Mon Jong Tourism Service Center in the Musoe Village community.
To prepare for the 4WD ride and find porters (for those who want to walk freely), but this time I carried it myself.
Let's go, get on the bus… It will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach the starting point. I'm excited, I'm going to walk now.
Riding on a seesaw, bouncing and shaking all the way, having a great time. The view along the way is beautiful.
We have reached the starting point! Let's pay our respects to the Buddha for peace of mind before we start walking. Oh, at this point!! I received provisions, rice and water.
Then they walked and walked, a long journey, walking along the path. They met people who were coming down from Doi Mon Jong, and they smiled at each other.
As we continued our hike through the pine forest along the ridge, we encountered the first viewpoint, Phu Hin Chor. The stunning view was well worth the effort, erasing all traces of fatigue.
(This is where the people in Pantip took pictures, it's so cool. I want to have cool pictures like them.....but it's too high. Sigh!!)
I'm having lunch in this area. The atmosphere is very luxurious.
Eating rice while enjoying the view....it's so good. When my stomach is full, I have to keep walking....
Wait a minute. Every time we take a break, we have to keep all our garbage in a bag with us.
Please follow the path to the most beautiful golden meadow in Thailand, Chang Golf Course.
And then we arrived at the entrance of the Chang Golf Course. We were met with a wide-open field, beautiful, beautiful. Let's take a picture…
It's really high... Let's go to the destination that they say is beautiful.
I can't walk anymore... I want to fly away... haha
We have arrived at the golden meadow, the Chang Golf Course. They say that when the course is closed, elephants come here to feed.
We took photos for a long time.
Please store your bags in the tent. There are many tour groups coming, so tents are being set up in various areas.
And then we will continue to here .... the highest point of Doi Mon Jong, the head of the lion ....
Those who are tired from the journey can also go up to the top of the Singha head in the morning.
Along the way, it was the same old activities, click, click, click. The view was really beautiful, worth the effort. Walking there and back.
From this point, I have learned that... it's close to the eyes but far from the _heart_. I can see it clearly, but it's not here yet. But in the end, it will have to arrive.
Looking back, it really touched my heart.
Wow, what a view from the top!
A thousand-year-old rose, but the one standing next to me is a 2000-year-old girl. -*- Let's go back to watch the sunset at Chang Golf Course.
It's getting dark, let's go back to the camp. Eat dinner… The tour company cooks it fresh. The menu is as follows:
Steamed shrimp with glass noodles, stir-fried cabbage, tom yum pla kapong, and red fish tofu. I didn't take any pictures of all this because I was too hungry...
After that, I went to sleep. I didn't bother showering, it was really cold. Wet wipes are the best, just wipe them all over...
As for the bathroom, if you're walking, there are some along the way. But if you're at the campsite, there are designated bathroom stalls. You'll need to walk to a small stream to fetch water.
Sleep zZzZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Then I woke up at 4:30 am. My new friend woke me up to watch the sunrise.
Yesterday evening, the further I walked, the farther I got. But this morning, I walked for a while and I arrived at the top of Doi Huasingh.
Walking with the spotlight, it's cold. I'm shivering. Click, click. The sun rises at its highest point.
Come down to have breakfast and then get ready to go home....
This morning's breakfast includes: rice porridge, pancakes, coffee, and hot cocoa.
After finishing my meal, I packed my things and started walking back. The return trip was much faster than the way there. I took photos along the way.
The man in the military uniform is P'Chat, our guide. He is kind and friendly. I met him before in a Pantip thread, but this time, he looks older than before....
..........walked to the starting point and started walking.................got on a truck, passed through the Musoe village
Then I parked, took a shower, changed my clothes, ate a full meal... the water was freezing cold! This is the place.
However, the tour company prepared dinner for us at a restaurant in Lampang Province. It was delicious.
And then we traveled back to our home.
Here is your translation:
Finally, I would like to leave my first post in my life with you.
I apologize if there are any errors or if you do not like it.
Love the forest, love the mountains, love the country, and keep it clean.
If you have the chance, let's meet again on the next trip.
Thank you.
