Hello, this is my first post. I've been meaning to write for a while now, but I've always been too lazy. This time, I'm finally going to do it.

This trip we traveled on March 16-18, 2016. We went to Prachuap Khiri Khan. We intended to climb Khao Lom Muak, but it turned out to be closed. It is advisable to do your research before going. At first, we looked at the reviews and didn't see any mention of it being closed, but when we arrived, the officer told us that due to the large number of people who had gone, it had been closed in September 2015 and would reopen at the beginning of the year. However, it would only be open on long weekends.

Now let's see how we can fix this problem.

Here's a map of Prachuap Khiri Khan, a small, quiet, and charming town perfect for relaxation.

We started our journey by taking the free train from Thon Buri Railway Station at 7.30 am.

Before boarding the train, we had breakfast across from the train station where there is a market.

This is our travel companion. After finishing the midterm exam, let's have some fun.

I sat, I slept, I woke up hungry and found this. Ratchaburi noodles, delicious. Only 10 baht a box, so I had 2 boxes.

After 7 hours, I finally arrived. My butt hurts so much. I kept falling asleep before I finally got here.

Let's walk from the train station to the accommodation. You can walk straight out of the station and the accommodation will be on your right hand side. The name of the accommodation is Yutichai.

The building may be old, but the interior has been renovated and is very comfortable.

Very cheap! We slept 3 people in 1 room for only 650 baht. It's an air-conditioned room, you know. Let's go inside and see the room.

I highly recommend this place. The bed is so comfortable, it feels like home.

We showered, put our things away, and then went out to rent bicycles to ride around.

We got a bicycle for 50 baht per day. Just walk straight from our accommodation until you reach the beach road, then turn right. If you're confused, you can check the map. Oh, I forgot to mention that the accommodation also has bicycles, but they were all gone, so we had to go out and find some ourselves.

Looking far away, I saw Khao Chong Krachok Temple. I'll take you there.

We cycled for a while and soon arrived. There were few cars and the drivers were very kind. We cycled across the intersection and the cars stopped to let us go first. And it was like this with every car. It was so nice!

Upon arrival, we encountered an elderly woman selling monkey food. However, we refrained from purchasing any due to the aggressive nature of the monkeys. We witnessed individuals attempting to feed the monkeys, resulting in a swarm of monkeys from all directions. The sheer number of monkeys overwhelmed the individuals, prompting us to ascend to safety.

I saw Jao Cho sleeping. Let me tell you, before you go up, you should put everything in your bag. Even I was carrying a camera, they almost took it. 555

They are holding hands, so cute!

As we go up, we will see the squirrels all the way.

We've arrived. I'm quite tired. The wind is cool and refreshing. We intended to come up here to watch the sunset, but the sky is cloudy today and not very beautiful. Oh, the sun doesn't set over the sea here, but on the other side.

After we recovered from our fatigue, we rode our bikes all over the place. We cycled along the beach, which had a bike lane, but there were cars parked there, so we rode on the sidewalk, which was safer. We were going to stop by the air base before climbing Khao Lom Muak the next day, but we found out that it was closed. What? Closed? We were so disappointed that we decided to sit by the beach, take some pictures, and then find something to eat at the night market near our hotel. Then we went back to relax and sleep.

Around eight o'clock, we went out to have a beer by the sea at Rom Seafood. This place has both food and beer, and most importantly, you can sit by the sea on the sidewalk.

And then we sat down to discuss changing our travel plans.

Around 9 pm, there were very few people. Since I've been here, there have only been elderly foreigners and locals staying here. So I feel that it's cool, there are few people, the atmosphere is good, and things are very cheap. The people are nice. Then we went back to our accommodation to sleep. Our accommodation will close the door at 12:00 am, but if we can't get back in time, we can call the uncle who likes to play games late at night. The phone number is below.

Woke up late, so I had some snacks and coffee that the accommodation provided in the room.

Then we returned the bicycles and rented motorbikes instead. The motorbike rental was 200 baht per day (24 hours), but we rented 2 motorbikes and got a discount, so it was 180 baht per motorbike.

We drove to Phraya Nakhon Cave, which is located in Pran Buri. We drove about 65 kilometers along Phetkasem Road towards Bangkok. Then we cut into Kui Buri because there were a lot of trucks on the main road and the road was full of potholes. We drove along the sea all the way.

Upon arriving at Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park, we stopped at the park office to inquire about the trails. The park rangers were incredibly helpful, providing us with detailed information about the various options available.

We continued driving until we reached the park entrance, where the entrance fee was 40 baht per person. There are two ways to go from here:

1. Hike over 2 mountains, covering a total distance of approximately 2 kilometers.

2. Sail around the mountain for 1 km and then walk for another 430 meters.

We opted for a boat ride for fear of missing the sunlight shining through the Phraya Nakhon Cave. The ideal time to visit is between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM, when the light is at its most stunning. The boat fare was 400 baht per boat, with a capacity of six passengers. However, as we were only three, we sought additional passengers. We spotted a man traveling alone and inquired if he would like to join us. Fortunately, he agreed, reducing our individual boat fare to 100 baht.

Here's my brother, his name is Note. We had a brief chat and found out that we both studied at Phra Chom Klao University. We studied at Phra Nakhon Nuea, while he studied at Bang Mod. We walked up together and took pictures, talking as if we had known each other for a long time.

Wowwwwwww, it's so beautiful and magnificent. I've been wanting to come here for a long time, I've been looking at it since I was in 4th grade. I finally got to come here. I really have to thank him for the hat that made us meet.

We took photos for a very long time, until we felt it was enough, then we returned by boat to where we had parked our car.

So I sat down to eat with Note, talking and exchanging experiences, sending pictures, exchanging Facebook and Instagram. I found out that he's really cool. He travels a lot and is currently studying and working in Australia, a country I really want to visit. He told me about his experiences, which were amazing. I also shared my stories, and we hit it off. We talked for a long time, and when it was time to leave, Note insisted on paying. I was so embarrassed, but he was so kind. Hehe. If we get to travel together again, I'll definitely treat you next time, Note.

Every encounter has a farewell, waving goodbye to each other. There is a fishing village on the way, the water was very beautiful when I drove past, but when I came back, the color of the water changed.

We stopped for a break at Kui Buri, chilled by the sea, and continued our journey.

After checking in to our accommodation, we took a leisurely evening drive to Ao Manao.

We took a million photos and went to sleep on a beach bed. We borrowed a guitar from the table next to us and played it because they weren't using it anymore.

After dark, I drove back to Ao Prachuap and had a delicious and affordable dipping sauce.

We drove around all the bays, meandering our way before stopping at a 7-Eleven on the way back to our accommodation to buy some beers. We then chilled out by the sea near the fishing pier.

Small packs of Sunbright Seven are only 1 baht each. People are buying them as if they are going to sell them.

Relaxing and watching people fish. At night, this bridge is filled with locals who come to fish and have picnics. It's a lovely sight, and most importantly, it's well-lit and safe. We then returned to our accommodation.

On the third morning, I woke up and prepared to watch the sunrise over the sea.

It turns out that there are a lot of clouds, so I can only see a little bit.

As we were walking to the car, we met a kind old lady who asked us where we were going. She then recommended this restaurant, saying it was amazing. So we drove there.

Wow, it's amazing! They have grilled pork, sticky rice, congee, noodle soup, grilled fish, and coconut pancakes. There are so many people!

After returning to the accommodation to take a shower, I drove to pay respects at the city pillar shrine.

Then enter the 5th Air Wing to see the spectacled langurs, which are said to be beautiful. Entering the air wing, you must wear a helmet and are prohibited from riding three people on a motorcycle. It is strictly forbidden to take pictures in the airfield area.

The parents and their child are so adorable. They bought food to feed the spectacled langurs. They said that the langurs were very cute and unlike other monkeys, they didn't snatch the food from their hands. They only took it when it was offered to them.

That's right, she's very cute but very naughty. She runs around, climbs, hangs from trees, and does everything she can.

There was a cute little monkey, golden yellow like Hanuman. It was so adorable! I waited a long time for it to come down, and finally, when everyone had left, I was able to take a picture. It was so cute! I stood there watching it for a long time.

After driving around until it was almost time to return the car, we brought it back. We were over two hours late, but he was very kind and didn't charge us extra. He seemed pretty chill and not too bothered by it.

When I returned the car, I found out that they offer a pick-up service when you arrive in Prachuap Khiri Khan, whether at the train station or the bus station. They will pick you up and take you to your accommodation, and when you go to pick up the car in the morning, you can drive it back and they will take you to the bus station or your accommodation as needed, at no additional cost to the car rental. This is how P' Bas took us to our accommodation.

We took a van from Baramee Group to the Southern Bus Terminal. They picked us up at our accommodation. While waiting, we went to eat sweet desserts at the intersection near the hotel. Tee Sai's shop is delicious, the sticky rice with custard is not expensive, only 15 baht per cup. We went there for three days and ate there every day, sometimes even twice a day. The shop opens around 5 pm and closes whenever they run out of food, but usually around 4-5 am.

Then I sat at the coffee shop of the accommodation waiting for the van.

We settled the bill and the total for the 3-day, 2-night trip came to 1500 baht. We're good to go!
