Today, I would like to recommend another Street Art location in Malaysia, which is not far from Kuala Lumpur.

Let me introduce you to you.


Art Gallery 7 is located in Shah Alam, Selangor.

which is a state bordering Kuala Lumpur, is a continuation project of Laman Seni 2

This is a project between the public and private sectors, between MBSA (Shah Alam City Council) and KHZNH Studio.


Established to promote the transformation of the backstreet area behind shophouses in the commercial district, which looks dirty and scary.

To be an art exhibition venue and an interesting activity space, and to become a new tourist destination in the Shah Alam area


This project was opened to the public in June 2014. The project features 3D Street Art, 3D Installations, Street Furniture, and Painting on site. The event space is approximately 200 meters long and features over 36 pieces of art.

Friends can take their time to take photos or enjoy the art exhibition at their leisure.

Getting there: Take the KTM train to Padang Jawa Station and then take a taxi for about 15 minutes to Laman Seni 7.

i-City is a theme park that features a water park, Snowalk, City of Digital Lights, and various rides.

From Laman Seni7, it takes less than 5 minutes to get here because it is very close.


All payments within i-City will be made using i-Card.

To purchase an i-Card, the starting price is 50 RM, and you will receive 50 Points on the card (1 RM = 1 i-Point).

Each theme park and attraction has a different point system for entry.

Today we will take you on a tour of the City of Digital Lights zone.

Let's go see it…

During the Christmas or New Year festival, this place will be decorated with more spectacular lights than usual, including giant LED Christmas trees, pumpkin carriages, horse-drawn carriages, peacocks, flowers, and much more. (In the picture, we went in August, so it wasn't as spectacular as it should be.)


*Tips* You don't need to buy one i-Card per person. One card can be used for the whole family if you have enough points. If you don't have enough points, you can top up the card.


Personally, we bought 1 i-Card to enter the City of Digital Lights zone for 3 people (10 points per person). The remaining points can be kept for later use until the card expires.


Travel

Train: Take the KTM train to Padang Jawa Station and then take a taxi to i-City.

Bus: Take the Rapid KL U80 bus from Kuala Lumpur to Shah Alam Bus Station. Then, transfer to the U605 bus and get off at i-city.
