Go to school... then study in the building.

Go to work... just work in the building.

The more some people live in condos... the more they can't escape the building.

No matter what you do, whether it's eating, watching movies, or shopping, you can't escape the buildings. Buildings, buildings, buildings.

If you're a city dweller who's tired of buildings and looking for a green space to relax and unwind, then…

We would like to offer you Khlong Bang Kachao, Phra Pradaeng District, Samut Prakan Province, or "The best urban oasis of Asia in 2006".

Here you can see lush greenery all day long, plus you can breathe in the freshest air and get your body in top shape by cycling. And all this for just 400 baht! You can't get better value than that! Let's go, friends!

"Khung Bang Kachao" is not far from Bangkok. It's easy to get there, and there are many ways to do it. But the way we're going to tell you about is the most convenient, believe me. Take the BTS to Bang Na station. Then exit through exit 2 and hail a taxi. Tell the driver to go to Wat Bang Na Nok. They'll drive straight up a bit, and when they reach the intersection, they'll turn left onto Saraphap Wuth Road. Keep going straight, and the meter will only run 55 baht. You're there! If you're going with one or two friends, you can split the fare and save even more money.

Once you reach Wat Bang Na Nok, walk no more than 20 steps and you'll find the pier... Yes, we need to take a boat across. Khlong Bang Kachao is like an island, surrounded by the Chao Phraya River. From above, it looks like a green blob. Some people say it looks like a pig's stomach. Whether the pier is crowded or not depends on what day you go. If you go on a Saturday or Sunday, it's bustling with people because they're going to visit the Bang Nam Phueng Floating Market. It's the highlight of Khlong Bang Kachao. But if you go on a weekday like us, it's quieter. So you can choose whichever you prefer. : )

The ferry fare from Wat Bang Na Nok Pier to Wat Bang Nam Phueng Nok is only 2 baht per person. Two baht, you guys! How cheap can it get? As soon as you get off the boat, you'll find a bicycle rental shop right there. But when you walk up to the shop, you'll find that it's closed. The truth is, there are bicycle rental shops all over Bang Krachao, but the most convenient ones are at Wat Bang Nam Phueng Nok Pier and Kamnan Khao Pier (if you're coming from Khlong Toei Pier). But since it was closed, we had to find another shop. Luckily, a vendor near the pier recommended another bike rental shop to us. This shop was in the Bang Nam Phueng Floating Market, so we called a motorbike to take us there. The motorbike fare was 20 baht. The driver was a friendly uncle who chatted with us the whole way. He told us that this shop had good bikes that wouldn't be stiff to ride. He guaranteed it.

This shop is located right behind the floating market. There's a sign that says "Bicycle Rental Shop". The rental fees are the same at all shops. If you rent by the hour, it's 40 baht per hour. But if you rent for the whole day, it's 100 baht. After you've chosen your favorite bikes, the shop owner will give you a map of Bang Krachao. The map shows the locations of interesting places to visit. It's not difficult to understand, I'm sure you'll all figure it out. But before you start cycling, don't forget to exchange your ID card with the shop. Then, when you return the bike, you can pay and get your ID card back.

Alright, are you ready? Ready to open the experience of a cyclist, fearless on every path yet? 5555555555555 Let me tell you that this is a serious ride, the route is not ordinary. If you're ready, let's go to the first place, "Sri Nakhon Kuen Khan Park". Ride out from the bike rental shop, go out on Phet Hin Rong Ruea Road 26. When you reach the intersection, turn onto Phet Hin Rong Ruea 33. Be careful while riding as this is a major road. Pass houses, shops, etc. There will be signs along the way, so you won't get lost.

We have arrived at "Sri Nakhon Khuan Khan Dam Park". Before we start cycling, let's take a look at the map. We took a picture of the map so we can see where we want to go. But for us, we just want to cycle around. We took a picture of the map, but when it's time to cycle, we just cycle around. We cycle there, we pop up there, we loop here, we go up the bridge to the other side. Oh, it's fun. Plus, we met a group of foreigners who were cycling. We were even more pleased with our eyes. 5555555555 Look at the pictures I brought you. I hope you like them and it will encourage you to go there yourself.

P.S. Normally, people who come to Suan Sri will have to cycle to the Thai Fighting Fish Museum. You will see many kinds of fighting fish, all with beautiful colors. There is no entrance fee. It used to be open every day, but now it is only open on Saturdays and Sundays, so we didn't go. If you go on Saturday or Sunday, don't forget to stop by. It's interesting.

We cycled around the park, not sure if we covered every corner, but we felt like we had seen most of it. So we headed to our next destination, Wat Bang Krachao Nok. But on our way from Sri Park to Wat Bang Krachao Nok, a coffee shop caught our eye, so we decided to stop by. The shop is called "Coffee in the House". The atmosphere of the shop is just like the name suggests, like you're having coffee in someone's house. Whether it's your own house or a friend's house doesn't matter. The point is that my friend and I ordered 3 menus, all of which were delicious. Oh my god, it was so good! Plus, the price was very affordable, only 30-40 baht per cup. Let's say we took a break to recharge our batteries before continuing our journey.

After leaving the coffee shop, we continued cycling to Wat Bang Krachao Nok. It wasn't difficult to find, as there were signs along the way. You can also use Google Maps if you prefer. Once we arrived, we parked our bikes and headed straight to the pier. Our goal in visiting this temple was to find a pier with a beautiful view. This pier definitely fit the bill! We could see the buildings on the opposite bank lined up in a row. Since we were already there, we stood and let the wind blow in our faces for a while before moving on.

Since our stomachs were rumbling, we had to find something to satisfy them. Our next stop was a place to eat. This wasn't just any restaurant or cafe, but a resort in Bang Krachao with an incredibly peaceful atmosphere. The design was perfect, like a modern oasis emerging from the forest. This place is called "Bangkok Tree House" and it's ideal for those who are tired of the city's hustle and bustle, want to see the river, be surrounded by trees, and find a place to relax near Bangkok for a night.

For those who don't stay overnight, you can come and have lunch and take photos like us. The food is amazing, I ordered 3 dishes and all 3 were delicious. I even checked my own taste buds to see if it was delicious because I was hungry or because it was really delicious. It turned out that it was really delicious. The food is not expensive, it's worth the price. We ate 3 people, it cost 180 baht per person. As for the way to the resort, you can ask anyone, even the motorcycle taxi drivers know. But we don't recommend following Google Map because we've been there. It's true that you can get there, but the journey is very bumpy. Don't do it. It's easier to ask other people or look at the map you got at the beginning.

Before heading back, let's stop by another highlight of Bang Krachao: the "Aromatic Herbal Incense House". It's located near the Bangkok Tree House, and there are signs guiding you there from the resort. The Aromatic Herbal Incense House is a place where local housewives from Bang Nam Phueng produce aromatic incense using local herbs. If you'd like to try making your own incense, you can do so here. They also offer fabric tie-dyeing workshops.

We've been spinning for a while now...

Oh... is it fun enough?

It was terrible, the guy who doesn't exercise. He complained a little while cycling. Don't follow his example, everyone. Well, after cycling enough, we returned the bikes to the rental shop and got our ID cards back. Then we prepared to take the boat back to Bangkok. But on the way back, we wanted to change the atmosphere a bit, so we took another boat back from "Khamnan Khao Pier" to "Khlong Toei Pier". The motorbike fare from the bike rental shop to the pier was only 30 baht per person, and the boat fare was 5 baht. In total, we spent 400 baht on this trip.

How about this? 400 baht to eat in the city, I don't know if it's enough. I came out of town for a while. I got to breathe fresh air, exercise, and see new things. It's worth it. If you have free time, "Khlong Bang Kachao, Phra Pradaeng District, Samut Prakan Province" can be one of your choices. : )

P.S. There is a slight error in the title of this thread. Khlong Bang Kachao is an oasis or the 7th largest producer of clean air in the world, not an ozone producer. This is because ozone is a toxic gas. We found out after the time to edit the thread title had expired, so we were unable to change it. We apologize for this error.
