First of all, I must say that this trip was incredibly budget-friendly, but it was definitely worth it. Initially, we set a budget of 4,000 baht for the entire trip. However, it ended up being much cheaper than we anticipated. We found kind-hearted hosts, delicious food, and fun attractions, all within our budget. The only downside was the haze from Indonesia that was affecting southern Thailand at the time. This slightly dampened our expectations for the beaches. But we weren't too bothered because our main focus was on the food. We wanted to eat non-stop, morning, noon, and night. As long as there was food available 24/7, we were happy! P.S. Stay tuned... We'll provide a detailed breakdown of each zone and activity (based on our experience, of course), including the costs of accommodation, food, and attractions. We'll break down the different trips in meticulous detail.

For this trip, I was a little excited, so I didn't sleep all night. So I decided to leave at five in the morning. I forgot to mention that I'm in Hat Yai. So the trip was very convenient. We decided to go to Trang by van from Hat Yai to Trang.

The fare is only 100 baht per person, and the van will take us to our desired destination. The final stop is the bus terminal.
After getting off the van to buy tickets at five in the morning, I was excited and surprised to find that the first bus had already departed.

Six o'clock in the morning!!!
(And then I'll wake up for...)
But to avoid getting in a bad mood from the start, we went to buy some cold water to drink. It helped a lot.

(Actually, I'm the one who's excited, who can I blame? 555)

We then arrived at Trang Transportation Center at 8.15 am. We had previously booked a room at the guesthouse.

We searched online and looked at reviews. At first, we called another resort that was right on the beach and had beautiful rooms (we were amazed).

We tried to call, but we were surprised to hear a man's voice with a slightly aggressive tone. So we decided not to choose this resort.

Because we tend to prioritize good service. That is, sometimes we want good answers, not just perfunctory ones. So, this resort doesn't pass.

As I was glancing around, I stumbled upon a hotel with a pleasant atmosphere. Considering the reasonable price of the room, it was a good value. The name of the hotel is Wasana Sisatham Guesthouse.

We called the resort to inquire about the strange name, and the owner, a very kind lady named Auntie Kai, answered the phone herself. (That's how it should be!)

Auntie Kai said she would pick us up at the transport station. We were very happy. When Auntie Kai's car arrived, we sat in the car quietly. But it wasn't quiet because Auntie Kai kept recommending food. 555555

He said he used to like adventure and wouldn't eat at any restaurant that wasn't authentic. Well, now that heaven has sent us Auntie Kai, we sat and listened to her for a while.

The resort is only a 15-minute drive from the city center, making it easily accessible.

While we were talking, Auntie Kai mentioned that

Auntie Kai: Which building did we book?

We: Oh, Building 400.

Auntie Kai: The view isn't as nice as the building on top.

We: Oh, it's okay. (Just hope to get a bed)

Auntie Kai: The room upstairs is usually 550-600, but Auntie will give it to us for 500. Do you want it?

We: (Hmm, how could I miss it) Okay.

Auntie Kai: Okay, then the car we're going to rent, are we on a tight budget?

We: Quite a bit.

Auntie Kai: Then I'll rent you our car for 100 baht a day.

Us: Ohhhhhhh (warm body, comfortable butt)

Upon arriving at the accommodation, we proceeded to pay.

P.S. I forgot to tell you that the aunt also collects 50 baht per person for picking you up at the transport.

The bedroom is clean. Very clean. The walls are white and simple.

The view from the front of the room is beautiful, if only the smoke from Indonesia wasn't completely blocking it.

After we got the car, I forgot to take a picture of it for you. Hehe. Anyway, I got a Fino. The condition is okay, but the auntie kept emphasizing that

When we returned, we had to fill up the tank. We didn't have any problems with that at the time because it's good manners. She filled it up for us first.
After we finished our trip, we had to fill it up for her so she could return.

I feel like a good person.

After wandering around the city for a while, as we got lost, we arrived at a traditional dim sum restaurant that even people on Pantip have reviewed a lot. That's Letrang restaurant. When we arrived at the restaurant, it was full of people. We had to wait in line for a long time, but we waited because we wanted to eat.

We waited for a while until the owner came to call us to sit, which took about 15 minutes. My eyes caught a glimpse of the dim sum on the table, and my stomach started to growl louder and louder. What was I waiting for? I immediately started choosing dim sum.

The dipping sauce here is thick. It tastes sour and sweet.

The highlight is the crab roe. I saw in the review that the crab is full of mouth. We can't believe it first. We have to prove it. The result is as follows.

Deliciously extravagant and magnificent.

Note: 45 baht per piece, which is quite big.

The dim sum is beautiful and delicious, with each basket costing 20-25 baht. The prices are similar at almost all restaurants.

An army marches on its stomach.

Ready to continue!
The OP will take a nap and continue tomorrow.

After we finished our meal, we set off on our planned trip, which was to explore the city center first.
Then we would drive to Kantang district.
Kantang district was an important port town in the past because it was an economic center.
It was also the place where the first rubber tree in Thailand was planted.

The Dugong Roundabout is beautiful to photograph both during the day and at night.

The beautiful old Sino-Portuguese style building. We can see this type of building in Trang city.

Trang City Commercial District

The car in question is called a "tuk-tuk" with a frog head. There are both in Ayutthaya and Phitsanulok.

We didn't spend much time in the city center because we had to go to Kantang district. It took us almost two hours to get to Kantang district.
But it was worth it because Kantang has a lot of tourist attractions. We headed to the Phraya Ratsadanupradit Mahisorn Phakdi Museum.

The total distance from the accommodation to the museum is 38 kilometers. It takes about an hour and a half to travel by motorbike.

And here we are at the museum!

Inside the museum, there are various items that were actually used by Mr. Ko Sim Bee in the past. They are over a hundred years old (very old).
The museum is free to enter.

The feeling of walking into Mr. Kosimbi's house is like stepping into the past. You can feel the weight of history in the air, and it's clear that everything is very old and has been around for a long time.

Next, we headed to Haad Yao Beach, but on the way we came across a hot spring called Khuan Keng Hot Spring.
We decided to stop and soak our feet for a while. The hot spring here is a whopping 70 degrees Celsius, and it's free to enter.
When we entered, there were young tour guides, about elementary school age, who gave us some advice. They were very cute.

Let the biker drive the car. He's a real pro.

Lush green

We didn't spend much time at the hot spring before getting back in the car to head to the place we were most excited about on this trip: Long Beach.

And then we arrived at Haad Yao. It took quite a while because we got lost and drove 14 kilometers in the wrong direction. But we didn't give up, we turned around and drove back. We were determined to take photos and we even brought our underwater camera.

We searched the net and found that Haad Yao is a very beautiful beach.

However, due to the smog situation, there was no sunlight at all, which was a bit disappointing.
As there was no sun, the two of us did not go down to play in the water and we got very few pictures.

After that, we spent some time looking for a seafood restaurant. The restaurants by the sea didn't have many customers.
So we asked the locals if there were any other seafood restaurants nearby. They recommended the Haad Yai Seafood restaurant, which is right next to the pier.
So we drove there to eat. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, it's right by the sea. But it's also a pier, so the ground is more like mud. But it's a good atmosphere.
We decided to order a la carte dishes, but we also had some cockles. Hehe, I wanted to eat them. We didn't eat much seafood on this trip.
Because this restaurant is a bit more expensive than other restaurants, but it's delicious.
The lowest price for seafood is around 150.
The lowest price for a la carte dishes is 60.
As for fish and crab, the price depends on the weight.

The seafood dipping sauce is incredibly delicious.

The squid curry rice is not very spicy, making it suitable for those who don't enjoy spicy food.

The crab fried rice was delicious. There was a good amount of crab meat.

In summary, the food at this restaurant is delicious and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. However, it is quite expensive, so it is not recommended for budget-conscious travelers. If you are on a tight budget, you may want to consider ordering a single dish instead of a full meal.

Let's continue the review, shall we? It's been a whole day.

We went to the Train Night Market in Trang last night. I didn't take any pictures because I was too busy eating! 5555
I had to find pictures online. Thanks to the owners of these beautiful pictures. Hehe

The food looked so delicious! I spent a lot of money, but it was still within my budget.
We bought some snacks because we were going to look for more food later at night. There's a lot of food at night, so I didn't want to miss out.
Some things at the train station were cheap, and some were expensive. It varied.
This is the only picture I took myself.

We bought mangoes, shrimp crackers, kuichai dumplings, fish eggs, rice flour, and a lot of other odds and ends.
Next, we'll take you to see the main food we eat at night, which is pork rib noodle soup. A bowl costs 50 baht.
While we were sitting there, food was constantly being served to us, such as dim sum and fried dough sticks. We could choose whether or not to eat them. If we ate them, we would pay for them, but if we didn't, they would take them away without charging us. But the dim sum was delicious. It cost 20 baht per bowl. As for the fried dough sticks and custard, they were very delicious. They were very creamy. I liked them.
This shop is located in front of the Spider Shop. The sign is big and says "Spider" with a spider on it. 555

The khao lao is delicious without any seasoning. The broth tastes like Chinese medicine.

After we were full and satisfied, we returned to our accommodation safely. But that's not all, there's more food reviews below, hehe.

The next morning, we couldn't wait to shower and go out for food. The resort owner told us that this restaurant was delicious. Even though she doesn't eat offal very often, she said that this restaurant does it so well that there's no fishy smell. She's a fan of the concept "If it's not original, I won't eat it." She said that the wait at this restaurant was very long, but it was worth it. At first, we didn't believe her. Could it really be that good? But we couldn't miss out, so we went for it. (We later found out that this restaurant was featured in a newspaper.)

As soon as we arrived, we sat down and watched the people in the restaurant for a while. It was clear that we would have to wait a long time, haha. We took some photos to pass the time, but after more than an hour, we still hadn't eaten anything.

At first, we both started to get annoyed, maybe because we were hungry, but we kept quiet. 555
Not long after we realized we were getting annoyed, the auntie brought out the vermicelli with innards to sacrifice to us.
Oh my god, it smells so good!
So we scooped up some soup to drink, and my boyfriend exclaimed, "It was worth the wait!" (He's usually a whiner.) So I took a sip.
Oh my god, it's so delicious! It's the original taste. If you think the clear noodle soup from a certain brand of instant noodles is delicious,
this shop's taste is much better, I tell you. (May I mention it?)

We can get this delicious cup for only 45 baht. It's a great deal!

Before we went to find something to eat at noon, we went to Mr. Chuan Leekpai's house first. It is suitable for people who like trees.
Mr. Chuan's house is located opposite Sapharachinee School and next to 7-Eleven. When I went in, I thought I was in a garden. The garden is very beautiful and the atmosphere is very shady.
It is suitable for people who like trees.

Around noon, it's quite difficult to find food in Trang (because most of the delicious restaurants are closed to prepare ingredients for the evening sale).
So we wandered through the alleys until we found a noodle shop called "Auntie Phon's Noodles". The seller was old, about the same age as our grandmother, so we decided to give it a try.
The grandma was very lovely, smiling at us all the time. The noodle vegetables were on a tray. It's a pity we didn't take a picture of the vegetables. The taste was spicy, beyond words.

We ate rice noodles with fish curry sauce mixed with fermented fish paste. It was very delicious and quite spicy.
We were able to enjoy this delicious meal for only 25 baht per plate (cheap but delicious).

After we finished eating, we decided to return to the guesthouse to check out and have them take us to Trang Transportation. The cost remained the same, 50 baht per person.

Now comes the important part, which is summarizing all the expenses we incurred, including travel costs, food costs, accommodation costs, and motorbike rental costs.

The total cost was 2,554 baht, which is 1,277 baht per person when split between two people.
From the budget of 4,000 baht, we still have some money left for the next trip!

Thank you everyone for following me. Hehe
(P.S. If you buy a trip in Trang, it will cost 900 baht.)
