Honestly, I can't believe there are so many people waiting to read this. I can't believe so many people have messaged me to invite me to write a blog.
First of all, I would like to thank everyone who follows my crazy diary.
Do you guys have nothing to read? Just tell me what you're thinking about. Love is the same. Oh, no! It's not related.
And I'm sorry I'm late. Don't be mad at me. I'm really busy.
It's better to be late than never. The song reveals the age of the owner of the post. Haha.
This post is the final episode of the Chiang Mai-Pai trip.
If you haven't read the first and second parts, go read them. Otherwise, you won't be able to talk to your friends.
"P a i" with me, brother?
Kiew Mae Pan - Doi In - Grand Canyon - Tha Pae
In this final episode, we will take you to Doi Suthep-Pui and hang out in Chiang Mai city.
You can call it the highlight of the trip. Because on this trip, we intended to see the tiger.
But!!! It turned out to be a plot twist, more than the ending of a Western series. What happened? Let's see.
After three days of non-stop travel, including hiking, jungle trekking, and motorbike riding, with less than four hours of sleep each night, we finally allowed ourselves to sleep in this morning. Our trip didn't start until 9 am, which I swear is considered late! If we were at home, we'd still be sleeping in, our butts sticking out from under the covers!
We left the hotel at 9 am and headed straight to iBerry, a landmark in Nimmanha. One of our friends wanted to take a picture with the giant cow's udder statue, so we obliged.
The shop opens at 10 am. We walked from the hotel near Kad Suan Kaew to the shop at 9:30 am, so we had plenty of time to take photos.
It's 10 o'clock sharp. Anyone who wants ice cream, go buy some. Take it home. My hands are shaking and my heart is racing. I miss my favorite coffee.
The next shop is my favorite coffee shop. If you come to Chiang Mai and don't drink coffee at this shop, your heart will break like you've been separated from your boyfriend.
Wait, wait, have you ever felt this way too? But where's your boyfriend!!!
Oh, oh, I forgot I don't have one. Okay, let's go! Let's go get some coffee. There's no other place to go but Ristr8to Lab.
This is a branch of Doppio Ristr8to, the popular cafe located at the mouth of the alley. Due to the high volume of customers, they have expanded into the alley.
If you prefer a dark, crowded, and trendy atmosphere, you can queue at the main branch. But if you're looking for a more relaxed vibe, head inside the alley.
Walk into Soi 3 and keep going straight. Look to your right for a chic cafe, and you'll find it.
This cafe is famous for its Latte Art and offers a wide variety of coffee beans from around the world. Coffee lovers are sure to enjoy this place.
I've included some photos, but I've forgotten the names of the menu items. I've been meaning to write about it for a while, but I haven't had the time.
This glass is hot cocoa. I remember one glass. Am I good?
I didn't take pictures of the cold section because it looked like any other shop, but the taste is amazing. Don't believe me? Come and try it yourself.
It's almost noon, let's go find some lunch so we can finally head up the mountain. It's been 4 days in the north and I haven't had any northern food yet.
Let's go to our usual place, it's close by. Tong-Tem-Toh
If we have to wait in line for a long time today, I'll change the name of the restaurant to Tong-Toh-Tem.
The last time I wanted to eat here so much, I went to the restaurant in the evening and got number 30 in the queue. I waited like crazy, now I think about it, I'm funny! Am I crazy or what!
Today I hit the jackpot, I went there and didn't have to wait, I got a table right away. Heaven is on my side. Who wants to eat what? Order it.
Eat your fill, I'll take you guys through some hardship later. 5555555
After ordering, I turned to look at the front of the restaurant. Oh my god!!! In just a few minutes, there were almost 10 people waiting in line. Good thing I came early.
The food didn't take long to come out, it kept coming out, it seemed like it would never end. I almost wanted to shout, "Miss, can I have another table please!!!"
Are you guys stocking up for 3 days or something!!?
It's not just one dish per menu, some menus we ordered twice, lol. Just eat until you're comfortable.
This meal cost us over 1200 baht, which is about 160 baht per person. It's cheap, it's delicious, it's good.
After we were full, we called and arranged for our lovely red car driver, P'Keng, to pick us up in front of the restaurant.
Next stop: **Wat Phra That Doi Suthep**. It's about 15 kilometers from Nimmanha and takes about 40 minutes.
The road is winding, so how about it? You ate so well, don't waste it, lol. 55555
It's not as crowded as Saturday-Sunday today. The weather is good, everything is good.
After paying our respects at the temple, we went for a walk at Phuping Palace.
We love coming here because we love roses. We love everything, even things that don't match our looks - -*
There are so many different types of roses here, some even bigger than our faces. Can you imagine how big they are?
There are many beautiful flowers here.
I like this tree. I don't know what kind of tree it is, but it has cute little red berries all over it.
This place closes at 4 pm. For those who love flowers, it's a good idea to allow plenty of time because it's huge.
From Phuping Palace, we will go up to the Doi Suthep-Pui Camping Ground. We will sleep in tents tonight.
Along the way, there will be scenic viewpoints. P'Keng, stop, stop, stop. Let's stop by. Honestly, P'Keng must have a headache. Stop, stop, stop. 555555
After the viewpoint, the road started to narrow. On the left was a mountain, on the right a precipice, and there were potholes everywhere. When we passed each other, I almost fainted.
After bouncing around for a while, we finally arrived.
When I got up there, I was disappointed. Why were the tigers so shy this year? There were only a few flowers. In previous years, there were many more.
Oh well, never mind. Tomorrow, when we go up to the top, there will probably be more.
Hey, why are you stopping? You're not sleeping in this tent. There, walk down further. The last tent is way over there at the foot of the mountain.
Oh, stop complaining. And don't come thanking me tomorrow morning, because you'll get to watch the sunrise from inside your tent.
Once you've put your things away, come back up and carry your pillows, sleeping bags, and mats.
Walking twice, oh my, I'm so tired.
Tonight, we'll be having dinner at the same old Auntie's restaurant. Auntie is still as grumpy as ever, but her food is still as delicious as ever.
What's new is the temperature, which has dropped dramatically, and the darkness that is slowly creeping in.
Tonight, we'll be sleeping under the stars, millions of stars on the ground and in the sky.
Tonight we're going camping. Anyone who has ever been a Boy Scout, find firewood and build a fire. This is the time to use it.
We rented a stove and bought charcoal from the aunt's shop. Hot grilled pork, cold beer with close friends, what could be better than this...
How's that? My little brother grilled the pork medium rare for you to eat. Isn't it undercooked? 555555555555
We've been dating for a long time, but this is the first time we've gone camping together.
It's really dark, there's nothing around, just four small lanterns. We're sitting here talking quietly, it's kind of nice.
Hey, hey, take a picture for us. We're going to sit in the tent. And like, with the trees in the background, and lots of stars.
Wait, wait, what are you guys doing? I don't know how to take pictures. I've never taken one. Come on, you have to try. Try it.
Okay, okay, I'll try.
Well, it's beautiful in a different way. Let me see another picture, but without you guys, haha.
I'm so fit, I set my alarm for 6 am today. I'm going to hunt for the red egg, no matter what. I won't even wash my face or brush my teeth. Let's go watch the sunrise together.
I've been waiting for you in the cold since 6 o'clock, but you didn't come until 7. Are you still mourning the moon?
I told you this angle is the best. You guys can watch the sunrise from inside the tent. How's that? Awesome, right?
Do you see the pavilion faintly? Do you see the tiny tent next to the pavilion? That's our tent.
It's still cold. I'll take a shower later. I'll walk around and take some pictures for a while. It's really not cool to take a shower now.
This text is already in English and does not require translation.
After taking a shower, we packed our things and put the garbage in front of the tent in a black bag. We had breakfast at the same shop as yesterday because it was the only one there. After breakfast, we went up to the **Khun Chang Khian Hmong Village**. The road was even worse than yesterday. When we arrived, I was heartbroken. My tigers were gone! Oh, what am I doing here? Where are my pink mountains? I don't know what else to say, so just look at the pictures.
There are only a few flowers. It would be better to take pictures of other flowers. Sigh, I'm disappointed.
This is the child of the shop where we bought strawberries. Wow, he's so young and already knows how to play with the camera.
I thought I would be here all day and go back to the city in the evening. But I've been here for less than 2 hours and there's nothing to do.
I'm heartbroken and hurt by P'Seu. I'd better go back.
Show me a picture from 2 years ago.
Wow, what a difference! Last year I thought there weren't many flowers, but this year there are even fewer. I'm so disappointed. I should have just taken photos here, it's no different. The flowers are even bigger than the ones up there. Damn it!
We arrived in Nimmanha around 4 pm and were starving. Let's eat!!!
Our usual restaurant, Khai Yang Chaing Doi, is located in a soi (alley) that I don't remember the number of. It's on the opposite side of Soi 3. Just walk into the soi a short distance and you'll find the restaurant on your right.
The restaurant's signature dish is crispy-skinned grilled chicken, which wasn't that delicious. We ordered 6 plates of it.
The other menus are also shown in the picture, 12 menus in total, but! 2 dishes per menu, oh my! Where did you come from starving?
End with the famous dessert, sago cantaloupe and coconut ice cream.
The savory dishes are over, let's move on to the sweet dishes.
Wait a minute, what was that sago cantaloupe with ice cream just now? It doesn't count!!!
Coming out of the alley, cross the street to eat Roti Gu at the entrance of Nimmanhaemin Soi 3. Let's see what we ordered.
The first menu is our favorite, Roti Tissue Foi Thong. I don't want to eat it, so I ordered 2 plates.
I can't remember the name of the next menu because I didn't order it myself. 555
I swear, we just had dinner and now I'm back looking at pictures and I'm still hungry! I'm going to die!!!
On the way back, I booked the latest flight so I could soak up the Chiang Mai atmosphere until the very last minute.
Most people will book an evening flight, arriving in Bangkok in the evening to rest and prepare for work the next day. But not me!!!
After traveling, I have to go all the way. Let's continue the trip at BEER LAB, or HOBS as it was known before.
Bottoms up!
My fingers are hovering over the "change flight" button, ready to switch it back at any moment. Should we just sleep for another night, guys? 555555 No one's agreeing with me, huh?
Ugh! Fine, we'll go back. Landing at Don Mueang at midnight sharp. I'm like a Cinderella backpacker, looking like a mess.
Finally, I would like to thank Ko, the officer at Doi Suthep-Pui Camping Ground, for providing us with the most exclusive convenience.
He bought pork from the city for us to grill, didn't take any money, and took us to visit the Hmong village of Khun Chang Kian.
On the way back, he even drove us back to the city. Thank you very much, Ko. See you again next year, if you're not tired of seeing me. It's been 3 years in a row.
Most importantly, thank you to my crazy friends. Without you guys, this trip wouldn't have been as much fun. #love
I'm carrying a broken heart back to Bangkok because this year the tiger didn't bloom.
No!!! We won't stop here. You guys, next week I'm going to Phu Lom Lo. Who wants to come? Raise your hand!!!
