" Hello...Khao Yai "
Skipped work to follow my girlfriend...and let her plan...on a 37°C day
Love at Khao Yai
Hello honeyy, the cover picture is not a picture of Baan Lae Suan magazine, haha. Hello everyone again.
It's been a while since I've been on a trip. Due to the fact that I've been busy with work and other things. - -*
So it was the cause of this dizzying trip (excuse). I couldn't help it, so I skipped work, haha.
But wait, it's not like I'm skipping work while I'm busy. My co-workers will slap me. I'll wait for the right time to skip work, haha.
For this trip, we skipped work on Friday. At first, we were just talking about how bored we were and wanted to go somewhere nearby.
We checked to see if any hotels were available, and it turned out that they were all empty. It's the low season during the summer, so we decided to go ahead with it this Friday, haha.
It's so easy to go on a trip on a weekday. There are many advantages, such as no traffic jams and no need to fight for food.
Hotels are also cheaper than on Saturdays and Sundays, while we get the same service. But traveling to the mountains during this time is very hot.
It will be over 40 degrees Celsius, but that's okay. This trip is chill and relaxed, no rush, in the style of Sabaidee Diary. Let's see how it goes.

||| A 1-DAY, 1-NIGHT TRIP |||
After the fan has planned everything, let's see where we went and how much it cost.
1. Fuel cost for a round trip of 500 km, approximately 500 baht
2. Expressway toll 70 baht
3. MIDWINTERGREEN 1080 baht
4. KHAOYAI ART MUSEUM - - - - F R E E - - - -
5. PRIMO PIAZZA 200 baht
6. HOTEL DES ARTISTS 2900 baht
7. LUNGCHUP 545 baht
8. ฺBL CAFE + GRILL 200 baht
5,495 baht
The average cost per person is over 2,700 baht, which is not expensive at all. You can come and visit whenever you have free time. It's very close by. But this is only the second time I've been to Khao Yai. The first time was 7 years ago. I didn't drive myself then, so I didn't think it would be this close. 5555 It's me who's out of touch, isn't it? -0-
#KHAOYAI ART MUSEUM
Since I left Bangkok very early in the morning because I was afraid of traffic jams, I arrived in Khao Yai very early, around 9 am.
Actually, the art museum wasn't even in my plan. I was going to stop by MIDWINTER for lunch when I arrived in Khao Yai, but the restaurant doesn't open until 10 am.
I parked my car in front of the restaurant and waited for a while. I couldn't stand it anymore and had to find somewhere to walk around because I still had 40 minutes to spare.
So I tried searching on my phone and found this place. It wasn't far from MIDWINTER, so I decided to drive over and check it out.
It turned out that it was the right decision to drive here. Just the atmosphere is worth it. Imagine if it was a little cooler, it would be amazing.
And most importantly, when I found out that it was the private gallery of the owner of the Sanwa faucet, I was very surprised. Because each piece on display
is a legendary work, a national award-winning work, and many works by national artists.
It's not just about having money to buy it, you have to have a deep love for art. Because I don't think the value of each piece can be estimated.
And most importantly, it's open to the public for free!? I would like to thank the owner here.
It gave me the opportunity to get close to the work of national artists that I admire, which I wouldn't have been able to do anywhere else.
Art Deco
This art exhibition will mainly feature oil paintings.
Each piece of work certainly takes months to years to complete, so the painter must be a person with great patience.
The most important thing is to dedicate both body and time to create each piece of work. Then what are they doing it for? ??!
This instantly reminded me of the song "Silpakon Niyom" with the lyrics...
"What is the purpose of an artist? What do they stand for? But artists are proud in their hearts, for they create for humanity."
You can read the full story here http://www.oknation.net/blog/phaen/2007/09/13/entr...
Artists create art to elevate the human spirit and make it gentler, because humans are the only species that
that can create and consume art at the same time
Like I set out to make every picture as beautiful as possible because I really only thought of one thing, which is
At the very least, those who click to view the post may not have to read it. Just looking at the pictures and feeling happy is enough. Really, haha.
The lines of the sculpture immediately reveal the artist's hand: Professor Chalermchai Kositpipat.
The first room is filled exclusively with the professor's work.
The artwork is displayed in several rooms. Those who love art will be fully satisfied. Each picture is beautifully colored and very realistic.
I saw this piece from afar, the unique lines made me rush over to take a look with great joy.
Of course, this piece is by Professor Thawan Duchanee, a student of Professor Silpa Bhirasri, the founder of Silpakorn University.
He was a pioneer in the arts and introduced universal artistic knowledge to Thailand. He was like a tree that produced many national-level artists.
To Thailand...
Professor Thawan Duchanee wrote about Professor Silpa Bhirasri in his book "Professor Silpa and His Students". https://www.facebook.com/SilpakornU/photos/a.221724136252.175621.72262086252/10152649083416253/?type=3
This is a passage that I read and found very impressive. I was impressed by the way the author described Professor Thawan, using elegant and archaic language that painted a vivid picture. It made me feel that Professor Silpa Bhirasri, despite being Italian, truly dedicated himself to the Thai people.
Although I never studied with Professor Silpa Bhirasri, there are many of his teachings that I have kept in mind to remind myself in my work and life.
"If you think of me, you don't have to do anything, just work." and "Tomorrow... it will be too late." . . .
A reflection of the monastic community regarding people dressed in yellow robes similar to monks, or imitating monks in every detail.
The image I remember the lines of is the image of "The Monk with the Crow's Nature"
The owner of the gallery brought the whole set. I really respect that. 555 The picture reflects the current society of children. It's very contemporary. I like it.
It was a fortunate coincidence that I came to the Art Museum, and I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the owner once again.
||| MIDWINTER GREEN |||
Back to Midwinter Green, I'm really hungry now. The atmosphere outside is like a castle, it's so beautiful.
I've never been here before, I can't guess what the inside will look like.
The interior is spacious and impressive, with high ceilings. It feels like dining in Dracula's castle. 555
Excuse me, do you have laab kua? Oh wait, wrong shop.
I chose a seat by the glass door, the view was amazing. There were only two tables in the whole restaurant, it was like I owned the castle. 555
Quench your thirst with a refreshing DJ Soda Lime before the show. It's delicious and juicy!
The food has arrived. It looks good, as expected from a luxury restaurant. It may look like a small portion, but it's incredibly filling.
Caesar salad with grilled chicken, topped with generous chunks of Parmesan cheese. The dressing was delicious, with a fragrant aroma that I loved.
Fried fish with Tata sauce, reminds me of the Manhattan restaurant.
Spicy spaghetti to cut through the richness.
After finishing our meal, we took a walk around. This picture was taken behind the restaurant. I think it will be open in the evening.
It's good to come on a weekday, there's no one around and it's not crowded. It's the best.
||| PRIMO PIAZZA |||
I've never seen an alpaca in my life. I don't really like to crowd around and feed them.
But today I can't miss it. Here at Primo Piazza, the entrance fee before 5 or 6 pm is 100 baht per person.
Wow, the atmosphere is just like Italy, but it's as hot as Suphan Buri.
Am I really looking for alpacas in Italy? 5555
Wait, wait, wait, this isn't the local market, lol. This is the only photo from the whole trip. You can critique it, but please be gentle.
You know what? I'm so hot right now. What you see in the distance is the farm where they raise alpacas, goats, and sheep. Ugh, it's so hot.
This place has just opened recently. I think it will be more lush in the future. Now it's a bit dry, but the view is beautiful.
Alpacas are cute, but what's even cuter is the donkey. It's so adorable! When it was being fed, it brayed in donkey language.
When we nodded, it nodded back. 5555 I love donkeys!
Just stopped by for a bit, couldn't handle the heat. Will come back when the weather is cooler, it will be amazing for sure.
There are also restaurants around, free entry in the evening. You can come and have dinner here, the atmosphere is amazing.
||| HOTEL DES ARTISTS |||
This hotel, converted from an old mansion, is incredibly classic. For those who love vintage, I highly recommend this place.
As for the service, I give it 5 stars. This is a hotel that really cares about its customers.
First Impression
Upon entering, you will find a guest reception room. The tables, cabinets, doors, chairs, and fans are all antique, creating a relaxed and chill atmosphere.
It is suitable for those who want a quiet and peaceful stay, without any fuss.
There are general books on the table for you to pick up and read. There is also a cabinet next to it where you can pick up movies to watch in your room. Every room has a DVD player prepared for you.
Upon entering the room, the staff will call to ask if you would like to have cake and tea right away.
Wow, I'm impressed for the second time. Service is truly the heart of the hotel. Sometimes, even the smallest things can win your heart.
And the hotel also provides slippers and a bag for women, in case you want to go for a walk outside. Wow, that's really good.
The bedroom door opens directly to the swimming pool. In the evening, sip beer, watch the stars, and enjoy the atmosphere. Let me go change my clothes and play in the water for a while.
Early evening atmosphere, I like it, I like it.
||| LUNG CHUP |||
After playing in the water, I was super hungry and it was time for dinner. I didn't want to go far, so I just walked next door to my hotel where there was a restaurant called Lung Chup.
I was too lazy to go far and wanted to live a slow life for a day, so I just dragged myself over. From seeing the cars parked in front of the restaurant, I knew there had to be something special.
It seemed like the cars belonged to local people, so I figured it must be good if the locals were still coming here to eat.
I don't know, I'm hungry. I want to eat minced pork omelet. It's so delicious. The chili sauce should be Sriracha chili sauce. 5555 I remember the smell.
It's so delicious. I don't know if it's because I'm hungry or what.
Crispy Kale Salad with Fresh Shrimp. This dish is confirmed delicious. Crispy kale, spicy dressing, and lots of toppings. I especially love the shallots, they are so generous with them.
Deep-fried ruby fish with fish sauce. Okay, it's delicious as expected.
This meal is not expensive, 545 baht in total. Delicious and satisfying before bed. Yay!
The third impression was that after having a full meal and returning to the hotel, I had not even reached my room when I received a call from the staff.
Asking if you want a warm drink right away, milk or Ovaltine is fine. It's good. The heart of getting is service.
I just learned that making a good impression on customers will make them come back for more. I need to come back and stay here again. Good night everyone.
#Café of Artists
Goose Samorning! It's time for breakfast. I slept so well, I almost didn't want to get up.
This morning, the hotel had a breakfast buffet. I walked to the hotel restaurant to eat. The atmosphere is really good. I wish I had a house around here. T_T
The food will be available as a set. There are omelets, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, but what I ordered will be Benedict.
The translation is:
It looks beautiful, the taste is okay, but I think the egg is a bit overcooked, just a little bit. 555 It's not very runny.
For the drink, I ordered an Espresso shot. It was fragrant and delicious.
The buffet zone allows you to choose your own food, including salads, bread, deep-fried dough sticks, milk, and fruit juice. You can take as much as you want.
The jam here is homemade and tastes really good.
Before returning to walk around the hotel, I saw a petanque ball, so I asked to play a little chic. Let's see who is more accurate.
Almost grabbed it and threw it at my head 5555
The room layout will have 2 zones. Another zone will be a pool villa, which is a bit more expensive, but equally beautiful.
Take a walk up to the 2nd floor of the hotel. There are seats for you to sit and relax, and there are large tables for you to work at.
If you want to escape the hustle and bustle, come and chill here. It's perfect for bringing your computer to write. Your brain will definitely be working.
Before we leave, I'm really impressed.
||| BL CAFE+GRILL |||
The last stop of the day, I believe in the future it will be another spot for people to take pictures, but at the moment the surroundings are not yet fully completed.
Especially with the hot weather like this, sitting in the Outdoor zone is not possible. It will definitely be like grilled chicken.
The atmosphere is inviting, with lush green trees that remind me of Jurassic Park. It's like being in a greenhouse, with a forest next door.
The back of the shop has a swing to trick chic girls like this to come and pose for photos 5555
Okay, here's the translation:
Honestly, I wasn't impressed with the coffee's taste. I'm usually a big coffee fan, but this time it tasted too sour for me. I didn't like it. T_T
But the second floor, if the weather is cold, you have to come. The outdoor atmosphere on the second floor is the best.
That's all for my Khao Yai trip. Thank you for reading or just looking at the pictures until this point. 555
I was impressed with this trip, but it would have been amazing if the weather was a bit cooler.
I'll review another place next time. I don't know where it will be yet. Haha.
P.S. If you like it, please follow my page too.
P.S.2. Don't forget to wink and open your mouth like in the picture. Bye.
