This trip, we planned to visit many places, wanting to cruise south to the beautiful white sand beaches of the Andaman Sea. However, our plans started to shrink as we had more and more tasks to do. We needed to save money and time, so we ended up choosing Koh Lan, which is nearby and affordable. When the time was right, we started booking accommodation. It might be the school holidays, so many places were fully booked even on weekdays. We didn't give up, though. We searched for reviews and didn't want to stay at the same place we had stayed before. We focused on beautiful, cheap, and economical options. We made a list and called around. Finally, we booked a night at Baan Chao Koh and another night at Check in @ Koh Lan. We initially wanted to stay at the same place for two nights, but since we were already trying something new, we decided to try multiple places.

DAY 1

I left Bangkok at 8 am and arrived at the pier a little after 10 am. I hurried to the pier, but there were only boats going to Haad Ta Waen, so I waited for a boat that would take me to the front of the house. I boarded the boat at almost 11 am and arrived at Koh Larn a little after 11 am, almost noon. When I arrived, I called my brother at the island house. He said that a car would pick me up soon, but at that time, the phone signal was not working, so I couldn't contact anyone. So I had to sit and wait at the pier. In the meantime, I looked for lunch and found a restaurant opposite 7-Eleven. I can assure you that this restaurant is really delicious. The price is 70 baht for rice with stir-fried dishes, but I assure you that it is worth it for both the taste and the quantity. After I finished eating, I hoped that my brother would pick me up at 1 pm. He came! I was so happy. We went to the accommodation, put our things down, and were ready to explore the different beaches and survey cool and chic places to hang out.

After relaxing for a while, it was almost 6 pm. We decided to have dinner at Krua Chaliang Lom.

This restaurant is definitely a must-visit for anyone coming to Koh Lan. The atmosphere is amazing.

DAY 2

Today we won't shower in the morning, but we'll go play in the water first thing in the morning when there aren't many people around. Plus, the sun won't be too hot yet. Then we'll come back and shower and have breakfast all at once, because here they say breakfast is available until 10 am.

Today we chose Sangwan Beach. This beach is near Sai Nuan Beach, but it's less crowded and there weren't many people playing in the water this morning.

Hooray, our sea.... We rented it all this morning! This is clearly a private beach, haha, haha, haha

After playing for a while, the sun started to get stronger. Plus, I was already hungry, so I went back to eat breakfast.

Upon arriving at the accommodation, the owner had already prepared breakfast for us. We asked if we could take a quick shower, and when we were done, the owner served us breakfast right in front of our room.

Ooooooh, toast with jam and hotdogs. It looks so ordinary, but it's arranged to look so delicious!

After we finished, we took some photos of the atmosphere of the accommodation and played around while waiting for the check-out time to check in at the next place >>> check in @ Koh Lan.

1:00 PM Arrived. Check in here. It's about 200 meters past the islanders' houses.

The room atmosphere is very good. The room is spacious, the bed is soft, the room design is beautiful and clean.

After packing our things, we thought we had been to all the beaches. Yesterday, the only place left was the "Finding Love" restaurant, which we didn't go to yesterday because we were afraid it would be crowded. We decided to wait until the evening and then go out.

We've arrived at Ma Ha Rak Restaurant, the talk of the town on Koh Lan.

It's not very crowded now because it's just after 5 pm. But if it gets a little later in the evening, there will be live music at the Ma Ha Rak restaurant, along with the sound of the waves crashing on the shore.

I was so engrossed in listening to music and eating that I didn't even notice the time. ;)

DAY 3

I was going to go to the beach again today, but I was too lazy to wash my hair, so I'm just going to sleep in.

Breakfast is served.

Here, breakfast is delivered to your room. The accommodation has a front lawn with a table and stove for guests to use. Some guests may buy seafood to grill and eat in the evening.

After breakfast, we packed our belongings and waited for the check-out time. When it was time, a car took us to the port.

This review feels more like a vacation than anything else. We didn't spend much time swimming in the sea, only for a short while. The main reason was to avoid washing our hair multiple times. Koh Larn is an easily accessible island, convenient for those living near Chonburi province. The cost is not too high. If you want to explore the entire island, two days and one night are enough. But if you want to relax, go for it. Honestly, even three days and two nights pass by quickly. Before you know it, it's time to go back. Even though I've been to Koh Larn many times, each experience is different and memorable in its own way...
