Hello everyone, and here we are at the final episode of our journey in pursuit of dreams. We chose Northern Kyushu, Japan, as the first destination to count as the first step of this dream. And if you remember from the first post, this trip was about capturing the 9 things I wanted to see and photograph within a little over 2 days.

Therefore, this final episode is a continuation of the previous one, as well as a summary of the entire journey.

Let's go on a journey together !!!!

Destination : North Kyushu, Japan

Period : March 21-23, 2016

Equipment: Fujifilm X-E2, XF18-135 and XF 35 f1.4

Things to see Points 7 and 8: Food, houses, both new and old

Japanese-style houses, which we have seen in movies, TV series, and even Doraemon cartoons, are something we would like to see with our own eyes someday, even though we have no knowledge of architecture whatsoever.

Samurai House in Kitsuki

Traditional Japanese roof

A house with bright colors, a sky with vibrant blue, and yellow flowers.

I like 3 things about this house: the dark gray walls, the sliding doors, and the placement of the windows.

The beautiful colored wooden wall with the shiny black car

Even though the window frame is rusty, we still think it's cute. Haha!

The wooden house with dried vines

Things to see Point 9: Enjoy a cup of coffee while watching people

For the last item, it's probably something we do a lot in Thailand, so I wanted to try living a slow life in Japan. And with our limited time, instead of a cool local coffee shop, I chose Starbucks in Ohori Park near Fukuoka Castle Ruins.

Unexpected Bonus !!!

Previously, we saw everyone enjoying the cherry blossoms, but for us, we weren't really into cherry blossoms... But wait!!!! Coincidentally, this year the cherry blossoms bloomed earlier, giving us an unexpected bonus: the cherry blossoms in their early bloom! And after experiencing it with our own eyes, we understand why everyone loves this type of flower. In addition to the beauty that we can see with our eyes, we also feel a small corner of the Japanese way of life. It's a beauty that's hard to describe with words.

Sweet pink sakura

This tree is white.

Father points, child admires.

In this picture, the mother points, the child watches.

The delicate cherry blossom petals, when they are blown by the wind and fall, are a breathtaking sight. We stood there watching, forgetting to take pictures. In the end, we could only bend down and pick up the fallen petals from the ground.

The little girl ran around until she was exhausted, before coming to rest under the shade of a cherry blossom tree.

Many people couldn't resist taking selfies with these beautiful flowers.

Soft cream sakura under the sakura tree. The taste may be ordinary, but the atmosphere and memories are special.

And lastly, other flower species that bloom to welcome the Spring season.

The yellow crepe flowers that we saw very often during our time there.

The purple flowers in front contrast with the yellow flowers in the back.

Anyone who loves flowers would probably love this place.

In conclusion, in addition to the 9 points that we successfully collected, including the bonus that impressed us,

This trip was a turning point in many ways, for the better. Japan is as wonderful as I've read and heard from many people.

... My first time in Japan, but definitely not my last.
