Worship Buddha, Make Merit, Enjoy the View at Tiger Cave Temple, Krasae Cave, Erawan Waterfall (Sri Nakarin Dam)

Hello everyone at README....... I apologize for writing late and very late. Stuck on a long holiday and far away

Let's start, huh 555+

7.35 AM Depart for Kanchanaburi Province from Bangkok via Ban Pong District, enter Saeng Chuto Road, pass Miracle of Life intersection, then when you reach Tha Muang intersection, turn left towards Tha Muang District

10.30 AM Arrive at Tiger Cave Temple, located in Tha Muang District, a temple with the largest Buddha statue in the blessing posture in Kanchanaburi. The entire statue is adorned with gold mosaics. When you reach the top, you will be greeted with panoramic views of Tha Muang District. (Worship Buddha, make merit, offer alms to monks, walk around the temple area, takes 1 hour.)

Before we begin, let me first introduce the purpose of this merit-making event. Tiger Cave Temple is located on a hill in Muang Chum Subdistrict, Tha Muang District, which is a district before reaching Kanchanaburi city. It was originally a small monastery located in the lower part of Tiger Cave on the hillside. Later, with the faith of the villagers, they joined hands to build and renovate it until it became a large and beautiful temple.

(Climbing up the stairs, about 128 steps) We practically had to crawl up the stairs.

11:30 AM Depart from the temple for lunch at the Bamboo River Kwai & Resort, approximately 3 kilometers from Tiger Cave Temple. To get there, turn left out of Tiger Cave Temple and continue straight.

12.00 p.m. Lunch at Bamboo by the River Restaurant & Resort

I must say, the food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious. We ordered a full table of dishes (but I won't disclose the price of this meal).

After finishing our meal, we wasted no time...

13.00 hrs. Travel to Tham Krasae. At Tham Krasae, you can pay respects to Luang Pho Tham Krasae, a large Buddha statue revered by the local people in the surrounding area. Afterwards, everyone can take pictures at the 400-meter long Death Railway on the cliff face, which is the most beautiful viewpoint on the Kwae Noi River and is famous all over the world.

2:00 PM. Arrive at Krasae Cave. Pay respects to the Buddha and admire the 400-meter Death Railway (30 minutes). Krasae Cave was once a shelter for prisoners of war during the construction of the Death Railway from Thailand to Burma. The cave is adjacent to the Kanchanaburi-Namtok Railway, a historic railway line from World War II. Inside the cave is a sacred Buddha statue. Looking from the mouth of the cave to the railway, you will see a beautiful view and the Khwae Noi River below. This area was the most difficult to build the railway due to the curved path along the mountain and the Khwae Noi River below.

.........looking out of the cave ....

The view below is a beautiful raft.

Continue on to Erawan Waterfall, a large and beautiful waterfall divided into 7 large tiers. The atmosphere is shady, allowing everyone to experience the fresh air. But the dream that I had in mind was shattered because I arrived at the place late. It turned out that the waterfall was already closed (4 pm). So I stopped by

Srinakarin Dam, a beautiful reservoir view in Si Sawat District, Kanchanaburi instead.

The real atmosphere is beautiful. The sky is a bit cloudy, like it's going to rain. Hehe...

This month's writing is short but meaningful. Hehe, closing the job. The last place for here.

This time, please disclose all expenses.

***Thank you to all the brothers and sisters who joined the trip and did activities together. There were fewer people this month. ***

Ending in a confusing way, see you again... next episode... Chonburi, I'm going!!!
