We have been warned that going to Malaysia is dangerous. Everyone says don't go, it's not safe yet…. But once you've decided to go, you have to be prepared for the trip. What's in your bag,,,,

For those who travel alone, packing is very important. Because it is something that is attached to us. We should take only what is necessary. Our example may be too much or too little. Let's take a look and adjust it for use.

23. Key for locking a bag or locker

24. Wallet and cash (very important 55)

Pack your bags and get ready to go!

Travel Festival……

We flew with Malindo Air, which we booked about 3 months in advance for a price of over 2,000 baht. We traveled during the Songkran holiday week (due to the nature of our work, it is difficult to take leave, so we can only travel during the holidays. If we had traveled during a non-festive period, we might have gotten a cheaper price, but for salarymen like us, this price is acceptable and considered cheap). The flight departed on time and the service was good. :D Free baggage allowance of 20 kg, snacks provided (but don't expect too much 55), LED screen for watching movies, USB charging port, headphones, and a pillow. I am a fat woman, but I did not feel cramped at all while sitting on this low-cost airline.

Welcome (Malay greeting)

During the flight before arriving at KLIA airport, the plane encountered some turbulence, adding to the excitement. We had to take a train connecting KLIA to KLIA 2 to go through immigration first, and then we went to collect our luggage.

After passing through immigration, we went to collect our luggage and then looked for a place to buy a SIM card. It was easy to find, and we used DIGI, which was quite convenient. When we returned to Thailand, we still had a DTAC signal to use :D (The counter is yellow, but there are many networks to choose from there.)
https://new.digi.com.my/home The seller recommended that we buy a 7-day plan.

Ready!!

From the airport, there are buses to many cities to choose from, such as Genting for 35 RM. It is recommended to take the bus from the airport directly, which is convenient for those who have booked accommodation there. In fact, Genting can be visited without an overnight stay. There are buses from KL to Genting. For bus travel in Malaysia, it is recommended to book in advance. There are online booking options, which are very convenient. If you are not familiar with online booking, it is recommended to check the price carefully to avoid being cheated.

The weather in Genting Highland is cool all year round because it is located on a mountaintop. The hotel has an amusement park, casino, restaurants, shopping malls, etc. But what we want to come here is not for these entertainment. We want to come here because the weather is good. It takes 2 hours to take the express bus from the airport. We booked a room in advance for 400 baht per night. There is no air conditioning in all rooms because the temperature is already 20 degrees. Check in through the kiosk is convenient. It doesn't take long. There are staff to take good care of you. For Genting, we think that for people who travel alone, staying for 2 nights is enough. But if you like gambling, we think it should be great. 555

(It was my first time traveling and sleeping alone. I couldn't sleep before I came because I read about ghosts in the first world hotel, but there was nothing really. The Chinese tour was noisy all night, haha)

Chin Swee Caves Temple (清水岩庙)

This temple is located 4,600 feet above sea level. The view is very beautiful, and the temple itself is also beautiful. It's not difficult to get there, as there is a shuttle bus from the hotel.

The statue of Venerable Chin Swee is also revered by the Chinese people.

When we arrived, it was already evening. The fog was very thick, and it was drizzling. On the way back to the hotel, there was a shuttle bus from the temple to the hotel.

Genting Skyway

We took the cable car down from Genting and then took the Express Bus to KL to catch a connecting bus to another city. The station is located at the Maxim Hotel. The cable car has a distance of 3.8 kilometers (those who are afraid of heights will scream) and is also the fastest cable car in the world. Try riding it, it's fun and you get to see beautiful views for a few hundred baht. Including the Express Bus fare to the city, we chose to take the BUS to PUDU SENTRAL to connect to the train to TBS, which is a transportation hub for all travel (like Mo Chit in our country).

(It's a pity the mirror isn't very clear)

Cameron Highlands (Cameron Highlands)

I saw a picture of a friend on a mountain that stretched as far as the eye could see, covered in light green tea plantations with the sun reflecting softly. Wow, it's so beautiful! Looking at the location, oh, it's in Malaysia, so I thought I'd go and see if it's as beautiful as the picture.... We traveled from TBS by bus for 35 RM and got off at Tanah Rata in Cameron Highlands. It took about 4 hours to get there. When I was a child, I heard the name Cameron from the mysterious disappearance of Jim Thompson, the Thai silk king. He disappeared from here.

For those who are traveling alone, it is recommended to stay in Tanah Rata town because it is close to the Bus terminal. This way, you won't have to pay for transportation into town if you stay in another town. There are also many places to eat in town, and it is not scary at night as there is a Night market.

For travel to various places, if you can ride a motorbike, I recommend renting one. It's convenient for getting around. Or, if you're coming with a group of people, you can rent a taxi. You can go to many places. As for me, I came alone and rented a bicycle to ride around. It was tiring because the city is located on a high mountain. I rented it for 2 hours, but I couldn't go far. I was exhausted. (It seems like the bicycle was more of a burden than anything else.)

In the evening, Tanah Rata's public park is filled with children playing and people jogging for exercise.

Butterfly farm

It is a butterfly farm that grows flowers and raises various animals. Butterflies can land on us (at first I thought they were fake 5555).

While I was taking this picture, a kid on the farm came up and asked me if I liked snakes. I was about to turn around to answer... she threw the snake at me! 5555 Luckily it was a small green snake. I almost had a heart attack -_-"

There are actually more flowers than this ...

Mossy forest

The mossy forest is very lush, but unfortunately on the day I went, the fog was so thick that I couldn't see the trees at all. TnT It's best to follow the marked trails or walk on the tree roots, as the soil is very soft and muddy. Your feet may sink into the soil because it retains a lot of water.

Tea Plantations

Cameron is famous for its tea plantations. The hills as far as the eye can see are covered in tea plantations, which is a beautiful sight.

strawberry farm

We can pick fresh strawberries from the farm ourselves. For 10 RM, we will get scissors and a box. Or we can choose to buy from the farm, which sells small boxes for 5 RM each.

Lavender Garden

A lavender garden with delicious ice cream. Come and eat it! It's so good :D I love lavender with all my heart, so I can't miss coming here..... There are many kinds of flowers planted here, and there are lavender from many countries.

The shop sells very cute stuff >,< (The seller is also very cute 5555)

I'm tired from traveling, so I'm going to rest for a while. .......... :D

This first post covers our trip over the past 5 days, which took us to 2 cities. The weather was good in both cities, but Genting was colder than Cameron as it is located at a higher altitude. Our post focuses on recommending places to visit, and we've included some photos for you to enjoy. :D Thank you for reading this far. In the second part, we'll take you to Ipoh, a small city surrounded by mountains in the state of Perak, Malaysia, and then we'll go for a walk in KL before heading home.
