Today, I'd like to review a short trip to Koh Chang for 2 days and 1 night.





The main vehicle for this trip is the KTM Duke 390, nicknamed "Pa-wa-lum".

The photos may be blurry or clear, and they may not be very beautiful, but they are full of the photographer's love. Haha, we left home near Ratchayothin around 5:00 AM, and it was still dark.

The gas delivery boy arrived right on time, just before 5 am, in front of the house.



We run along Ratchada - Phetchaburi - Sukhumvit - Bang Na Trad. Don't ask why we run this route. "Afraid of getting lost" is the answer.

We stopped by the ESSO gas station with McDonald's at 6 am, just in time for breakfast. We had a croissant and orange juice.

After we were full, we continued our journey. We stopped again at the Bang Chak gas station in Ban Bueng and had another cup of coffee each to fight off the drowsiness.





After stopping by, we continued on.

When you see the sign for Ao Thammachat Ferry Port, turn right and head straight in.


The road is lined with trees, it's a beautiful route with not much traffic.



And then, we finally arrived at the destination. Hooray! Cheers! Woohoo!


On the ferry to Koh Chang.

Boat fare for 2 people and 1 car is 240 baht in total (not sure how many people or how much luggage).



As of 11:00 AM, the total travel time is

From Bang Na to the ferry crossing to the island.

It took about 5 hours to get on the boat. I could see Koh Chang in the distance.


As a city kid, I was so excited that I jumped around the boat.



I told you the sky is beautiful, the sky is clear.


The sea is so clear with gentle waves. Oh, so relaxing!



Once we arrived at Koh Chang, we continued riding our motorbikes.


The advantage of traveling by two wheels is that we don't have to wait in line to get on and off the boat.

And then we arrived at the resort we booked, aana resort & spa

Let me preface by saying that this is our first time, and the gas delivery boy came to Koh Chang.

I relied on reading accommodation reviews. In the end, I chose this place because I wanted to go kayaking.

How can you miss this angle when you're at Aana Resort & Spa?



I forgot to mention that it takes about 40 minutes to get from Ao Thammachat to Koh Chang, no more than that.


From the pier on the island to the resort is about 10 kilometers.



We want to say that this place is as beautiful as its reputation.

The lobby is so lovely! They served us chilled lemongrass water upon arrival. It was so refreshing! ^^

I have arrived at the accommodation, but I cannot check in yet. Check-in time is 2:00 PM.


So we left our bags and went sightseeing on the island.

The most important thing is to find something to eat. I'm soooo hungry. A million chickens.



We stopped for lunch at Bang Baeu Pier.

We didn't prepare anything at all. We have no idea what to eat. Let's just walk around and see what we can find.

This pier is like a small market, selling all sorts of little things.

There are also island tours for sale, which seem to be aimed at foreigners. ^^

We walked without getting bored at all. The way was very cute.



We chose the Chaolae Seafood restaurant.

Don't ask why I chose it. I don't know. I just walked in randomly. >.<

We found the food prices to be average, neither expensive nor cheap (average for a tourist area). The taste was bland to very bland.

Full and happy, I stopped by the 7-Eleven in front of the pier to buy some snacks. I'll go back and eat some.


The prices of goods in 7-11 here have not increased much. Popular items may have increased a bit more.

The gas delivery boy told us that the price of soda has increased by 4-5 baht, but we don't remember exactly.

Knowing that he had already calculated, he grabbed a 2-liter bottle of Coke. -*-

Upon arriving at the resort and checking in, we hopped on a golf cart to our accommodation.

The accommodation I booked is AANA Grand deluxe.


It is a double room (there are 6 rooms in total) 2 rooms per building.

This type will be on the lower floor. The upper floor is a top view villa, which was fully booked on the day we stayed. T^T





When you come to Koh Chang, you must see elephants. A pair of elephants, mind you.



Let's open the window and enjoy the view for a bit.


The bed is soft, the pillows are fluffy, and there's even a mosquito net. But we didn't put it up, we were afraid of breaking it.

Shampoo, shower cream, body lotion << everything smells of lemongrass.

Shower cap, cotton swab, hair dryer

It has a bathtub with hot and cold water (we only take cold showers).

Oh, there's a bidet, haha.

Note: We really like the coconut with cotton swabs, the hair cap is very cute.

Alright, it's time to go swimming.


At AANA, to go swimming in the sea at White Sand Beach, you have to paddle a kayak.

Paddling along the Khlong Phrao, paddling on and on, you will find the sea.

Wowwwww, it's amazing, you know, like we were paddling and suddenly we were out at sea. Aaaaaaaaaahhhhh!

We really wanted to row the boat, but we couldn't row it. So the responsibility fell on our gas delivery boy. Haha.

It's a bit of a shame that we came during the rainy season.

Even though it didn't rain, the sea water wasn't crystal clear.

We were just walking on the sand, why does it look like we're running into the sea in the photo?

Since we don't really like playing in the sea, and the sea water isn't very clear today,



So we decided to go back to the swimming pool at the resort.

If you came by boat, you must also return by boat.

We think the pizza is delicious, but the fried banana has a savory batter, even though it's a dessert.

After dinner, the resort will take you on a boat to see the fireflies.


But because it was dark and the boat was rocking, we were secretly afraid, so we didn't take any pictures at all. TT^TT

There aren't many fireflies, but the locals said there were still a lot just now. // Maybe the fireflies are afraid of us.


Sunday morning, we intend to watch the sunrise together.

We woke up at around 5 am. Oh my, the sky was already bright. Let's sleep more, what are we waiting for?

Waking up late in the morning, we went out for breakfast. The path to the dining room is the same path that leads to the sea where we took the kayaks.

But the morning atmosphere makes me feel so refreshed.


Our breakfast is pretty good.


Everything is available. We have bread, coffee, rice porridge, rice, and fruits.

//We think the sausages, bacon, and ham here are not delicious.

Even though the gas delivery boy can eat anything, he still can't finish it all. 555+


The highlight of breakfast here would be the crispy roti sai mai and deep-fried bananas drizzled with honey.

Omelets are also available, so we have everything you need.

Next, we will go to Khlong Plu Waterfall.

As usual, the handsome driver took me on a winding road. Please be careful, there are many dangerous curves.

The morning air is so fresh, I can feel the ozone filling my lungs.


To reach Khlong Plu Waterfall, you need to park your car at the designated area and then walk for about 500 meters.

Complaining about the gas delivery boy, saying he's causing trouble. 555



The water is really clear and cold.

However, the OP didn't go down to play. They fell down for a bit and almost cried. TT^TT


There are a lot of fish, both small and large.

Crystal clear water flows cool, revealing the fish.

Stop by Buffalo Bill restaurant near the ferry pier for a quick lunch.

The taste is okay, very much like a foreigner's taste.





And then we bought tickets to get on the boat. It was time to say goodbye to Koh Chang. I want to say that there were a lot of cars waiting in line to get on the boat.

Luckily, I'm handsome and don't have to queue. As soon as the boat arrives, I get on. It's a special privilege for two-wheelers, you know. Haha~

The ferry fare for the return trip is the same as the outward trip, which is 240 baht for 2 people and 1 car.
