Rayong... Rayong Most people will choose to come to the sea. But Mang Noi wants to change the atmosphere to find something to eat more than that. Because the people who take the tour are already a lot. Today, I will take you to eat only a few places, but I guarantee that it is diverse. Let's go and try it together...

Station 1 --Kuaikan Noodle House Ban Phe--

Coordinates: From Sukhumvit Road, turn onto Highway 3140 towards Tha Ruea Noen Tippy. The shop is on the left-hand side, located in front of Mac Garden Resort.

Turn in to park your car inside the resort. In front of the entrance, there is a kitchen making noodles and a zone selling desserts, drinks, and ice cream. Inside the shop, there are 2 floors.

The menu offers a decent selection of dishes. Dishes with mantis shrimp are quite pricey, but if you're already here, it would be a shame not to try them. P.S. Since you're already here, give it a shot.

Starting with the menu... Stir-fried crab noodles
It's an ancient recipe of stir-fried noodles topped with large crabs. The chewy noodles are mixed with sauce and stir-fried until dry. The taste is so good that you don't need to add any more seasoning. If you like it spicy, add a little bit of finely chopped roasted chili. This will make the stir-fried noodles taste even more delicious. The crab meat is chewy and firm, clearly different from shrimp. Eating them together is truly delicious.

Stir-fried rice with chili paste and mantis shrimp
Fried with fragrant jasmine rice mixed with seafood sauce, which is a term used by Rayong people called chili salt, making it spicy, sour, sweet, and salty. When you eat it, you get a new taste that you've never tried before. It's delicious.

Tom Yum Goong with Creamy Shrimp Roe
The highlight of this restaurant is probably this menu. Because it's not just full of mantis shrimp, but it also comes with a full range of seafood, including crab meat, squid, shrimp, and fish, with a creamy shrimp roe tom yum soup made from squid broth. Topped with freshly ground roasted peanuts and fresh chilies, the taste is sour and spicy tom yum, plus the soft and chewy thin noodles that are soaked in the soup. It's so delicious.

After finishing the savory dishes, we decided to try some desserts. After browsing the menu, we settled on the matcha green tea. The flavor was average, not quite what we were hoping for.

On the way back, I picked up a free postcard. It's hard to find these days. I sent it to my friends almost a month ago, and I haven't received it yet. Please help me with the post office.

Some people think that the little spider will cross over to Koh Samet. Not at all, I told you that today is a day for eating. From Ban Phe, we drove back to Yomjinda Road. Let's take you to another restaurant that I really like, both for the atmosphere and the taste of the food.

Station 2 -- Rayong --

Coordinates: From Sukhumvit Road, turn onto Nakhon Ratchasima Road 62 (Lak Mueang Road), turn right onto Yomjinda Road. The shop is on the right, near the Father Sing-Mae Kray building (corner of Sri Samut Bhok Road).

This classic restaurant boasts two distinct sides, each offering a unique ambiance. One side features an antique wooden house adorned with vintage decor, while the other showcases a modern yet distinctive concrete building. The menu boasts a wide variety of dishes at affordable prices. The presentation surpasses the price point, giving the impression of a much more expensive meal. The flavors are so delicious that you'll want to tell everyone about it. During the day, the atmosphere is peaceful and serene, a stark contrast to the bustling evenings when the restaurant fills to capacity. (This information was obtained directly from the owner, as I personally visited during the daytime.)

Roti pizza
Made with thin and crispy roti dough, topped with crab sticks and hot sausages, and covered with melted cheese. It's delicious, just the right size, and filling enough to satisfy your hunger.

Guest salad
Add vitamins with vegetable salad, thin French fries, fried tofu, boiled eggs, mixed with spice salad dressing, similar to sweet vermicelli chili paste.
Personally, I think it's strange. It's not really to my taste.

Green curry chicken with rice noodles
Looks delicious, the rice noodles are arranged in small portions, the green curry chicken is rich, fragrant with coconut milk, the taste is good.

Fried banana
Price 40 baht, but the food looks very expensive. Bananas dipped in batter, sprinkled with sesame seeds and some kind of flour, served with honey. Fancy slider

Red soda and iced black tea
Refreshing

Assorted savory dishes

Let's continue to the other building for dessert.
Melon lover
Just seeing the face is already in love. It's hot like this, so having a full melon is good, isn't it?

Ending this meal with a takeaway order. I want to compliment the owner, who is so lovely and kind, even accommodating a picky customer like me. Thank you! 555

Caramel Toffee Nut Whipped Cream

It's a very strong iced coffee with a sweet caramel aroma. It makes you feel refreshed and your brain feels cooler.

Take a short walk to enjoy the atmosphere of the wooden houses community around Yomjinda Road, which still retains its unique charm.

Still not full yet? Little grasshopper still got to take home some sweet treats from Auntie Tum's shop. By the time I got to the market, it was almost closing time and most of the food was gone. But I still got to try the durian sticky rice and mango sticky rice, which had a fragrant and sweet coconut milk. The sticky rice was soft and delicious, and it was a delight to eat it with the ripe mangoes.

The food trip is over, heading home. Before leaving, I stopped by the Ko Kloy Floating Market next to CentralPlaza Rayong to take some pictures for you.

That's all for the review. Thank you for following.
