Hello friends of Pantip, today I would like to try writing a travel blog. This is my first travel blog (and I will continue to do so, please encourage me ^_^). I want to share my experiences with my friends so that I can share something useful with people who are going to travel. Most of them will focus on pictures, so you will know that Thailand is beautiful. Let's get started!
Please follow my journey with "ไอ้ตี๋แบกเป้เที่ยว" https://www.facebook.com/itybackpacker
Today, we will take you on a trip to the World Heritage city of Ayutthaya. This province can be visited in a day trip, as it is only 70-80 km from Bangkok. My Japanese friend wanted to see the best of Thailand, so we drove there ourselves. It took less than an hour to get there. There are many ancient temples and historical sites to visit. If you have never been to this province, you should definitely go at least once. We will learn about the history of Thailand.
Among the famous tourist attractions are Ayutthaya Elephant Palace, Wat Chaiwatthanaram, Wat Mahathat, Ayutthaya Floating Market, Wat Phanan Choeng Worawihan, and Wat Phra Si Sanphet. These attractions are located close to each other. Most of them have entrance fees, but Thai people only pay a few tens of baht. There are quite a lot of foreign tourists, especially Japanese and Chinese, making these places landmarks for them.
The weather is very good today, the sky is open.
The first place, Wat Chaiwatthanaram, despite the hot weather and the blazing sun, we were not discouraged because we wanted to get beautiful pictures.
The wide-angle view of the sky is perfect for taking pictures.
The beauty of history
I really like this Buddha statue. It feels magical.
After that, we went to the Ayutthaya Elephant Palace (Ayutthaya Elephant Camp and Corral). Here, you can ride an elephant or take a picture with one, but it costs money. 555 Mostly foreigners come here to ride elephants.
Elephants galore, forming a herd.
After walking until we started to get tired, we continued the procession to Wat Mahathat. This temple is a landmark of Ayutthaya.
Finally found it! I came to Ayutthaya just for this picture. This picture is the landmark of this place. When taking pictures, don't stand taller than the Buddha.
Perfect balance, feeling so cool.
As our stomachs started to rumble, we set out to find the famous dish of Ayutthaya: river prawns.
Large river prawns, neatly arranged, look delicious.
The shrimp is so delicious, it's like a secret. Each one costs about a hundred baht.
With a full stomach and the rather hot weather, we headed to the Ayutthaya Floating Market next (sorry friends, not many pictures of the floating market).
After eating our fill, it started to get late, so we decided to head back to Bangkok to find something to eat there. 555 The trip is over! We may not have visited all the temples, but it was the first time I saw ancient sites and world heritage with my own eyes. It was definitely worth it. If any of my friends haven't been there yet, try going and see for yourselves. As for where I'll take you on the next trip, stay tuned! ^_^ Thanks to everyone who read to the end. If any of the information is incorrect, I apologize in advance. See you again, follow my travels at https://www.facebook.com/itybackpacker ^_^
