I want to take a break... I miss you, her.

Thur Hostel is located in Prachuap Khiri Khan province, not too far from Bangkok. You can visit many places even if you stay for one night.

Let me tell you the story from the beginning of our journey. We took a van at Victory Monument for 200 baht. But because someone walked us to the van stop next to Century Mall, they charged us 220 baht. We were lucky to get on the van right away, so we didn't have to wait long :-)

Along the way, we were treated to views of the rain falling all the way.

The owner of the accommodation came out to greet us very warmly.

We got a room with a sea view, but it was already dark when we arrived, so we saw a black sea instead. ^__^

This sea view room will have a bathroom inside the room.

There is an outside balcony where you can walk out and sit outside, which only 2 rooms have. We were taking pictures and the room next door opened their door, so we met a new friend. She was traveling alone and kindly lent us the motorbike she had rented to drive. She was so kind!

This trip, we made one more new friend. Traveling really makes us meet new friends... If you don't believe it, try traveling and see.

After traveling for several hours, we started to feel hungry. So we asked the owner of our accommodation for recommendations on where to eat. The owner suggested this place and told us that it was affordable. Most importantly, it was just a short walk from our accommodation. We could even walk there.

We ordered food with hunger. The food here doesn't take long to wait, and the staff is very good.

I ordered 4 dishes. The seafood was very fresh and the price was really affordable. This meal cost me 460 baht.

After dinner, we took a walk to enjoy the night view before heading back to our accommodation.

Waking up early to watch the sunrise by the sea

  • The sky here is so beautiful

The three of them rode their motorcycles to find a scenic spot to take photos.

This is the Saranwithi Bridge…a bright red bridge…stretching out into the sea…on the edge of Prachuap Bay.

  • Looking from this bridge, you can see Khao Chong Krachok on top... We'll be going up there in a bit.

  • The red bridge contrasts beautifully with the sky and the sea. Let's take a souvenir photo.

We saw our new friend off at the train station as she was traveling to Chumphon. She didn't take any time off work in advance, otherwise we would have gone with her.

I want to take the train all the way to Sungai Kolok.

Thank you for the good friendship we have.

We stopped to pay respects at the Prachuap Khiri Khan City Pillar Shrine before continuing our journey.

Just a short distance from the City Pillar Shrine, you'll find Khao Chong Krachok.

  • Is this a "smile" from a monkey greeting?

  • She smiled at us and then asked for more corn.

  • Don't touch my corn, you hear! 555 I saw monkeys fighting over corn too.

  • I saw a monkey sleeping soundly. The weather must be nice.

  • Little Red Riding Hood sneaked in to take a picture with the monkey. The monkey looked on and smiled. So cute.

  • This monkey climbed up to eat the corn on the top of the tall tree, thinking that no other monkey would be able to climb up and steal it.

  • The stairs are full of monkeys.

  • Pause to wait for the "gibbons" to come.

Enjoy the view along the way.

The view from Khao Chong Krachok offers a glimpse of the red bridge we strolled across this morning.

It's time to walk down from Khao Chong Krachok because I'm starting to get hungry.

For lunch today, I had fresh crab noodles at a restaurant on the left side of the road to Wat Ao Noi. The restaurant doesn't have a name, but you can spot it by the many cars parked on the side of the road.

  • This bowl of dry noodles is only 40 baht, and it comes with soup too.

I could see the Wat Ao Noi temple in the distance.

We have arrived at "Wat Ao Noi".

"Wat Ao Noi" is beautifully crafted from golden teakwood.

We entered the church to pay respects to the Buddha for good fortune.

Bow to the Buddha statue in front of the chapel again before heading back.

There are many photo spots along the way.

Just looking at "him" from afar makes me "happy".

We came to the second round of flying because the first round did not have helmets. Here is very strict. You must follow the traffic rules.

We stopped by to explore the way up to Khao Lom Muak and we also paid our respects at the Khao Lom Muak Shrine.

  • You will find many spectacled langurs before the climb up Khao Lom Muak.

Spectacled langurs will come to us if we have food to give them. We can hand it to them directly.

Spectacled langurs wait for people to feed them.

Spectacled langur mothers...newborn langurs have an orange-gold color.

I took a picture on my way back from Khao Lom Muak. When I arrived at the military checkpoint, I was told that I was not allowed to take pictures inside the airbase.

We returned the car to the accommodation...พี่หน่อย, the kind owner of the accommodation, let us take a free shower before we left.

I want to say that I love... you....

And we will definitely go back to "her" again.

"Her" hostel is amazing! The service is top-notch, and I'm incredibly impressed.

This trip we took a van to and fro. It was amazing that the van driver was the same person both ways. If you are sitting in the front seat and see a sign like this, don't play with your phone, because the driver will be dazzled. And don't talk on the phone for a long time, or you'll find that I didn't warn you. The driver is quite fierce because I've been there, hehe.
