Hello everyone at Readme, let's go to "Koh Phayam" and have some fun!

Let's join us to review the memories of the trip. Go to "Koh Phayam" and let's go!

We have 2 nights and 3 days to explore Koh Phayam (May 6-8, 2016).
We will start our journey on the evening of May 5, 2016 from the Southern Bus Terminal (P.1 bus) at 8:30 PM. We will sleep all the way to the island.

Day 1 (May 6, 2016)
Arrived at Ranong Bus Terminal at 6:00 AM on May 6th. As soon as we got off the bus, we took a small shared taxi to the boat ticket office. The fare was 30 baht per person.

At this point, you can choose to take a boat in 3 ways, depending on the boat's capabilities, price, and time. As for us, we chose the mail boat, what are we waiting for? Haha
- Hi Speed Boat: Travel time 30-40 minutes (350 baht /person)
- Express Boat: Travel time 1 hour (280 baht /person)
- Mail boat: Travel time 2 hours (200 baht /person)

After purchasing your boat ticket, a shuttle service will take you to the boat at the Tai Kaek Pier. Please note that this pier is located at a different location.

As we crossed the Andaman Sea, we leaned out into the wind, enjoying the view.

And then we arrived at the pier on Koh Phayam Island. It is now 12:30 p.m. Wow! The sun is really hot.

Without hesitation, I walked straight to Sawasdee shop (a motorbike rental shop) located near the entrance sign of Koh Phayam. The rental fee is 200 baht/day.
*Caution: When the sea level is high, do not drive the motorbike through the water. The water in the canal is different from the seawater.
Seawater will cause the engine to stall, and you will have to pay a fine to the shop for repairs.

We drove to check in at Sabai Sabai Beach Bungalow, which is located in the same bay as the pier, Ao Mae Mai. The accommodation costs 700 baht per night. We like this place because the room is right on the beach, with a view of the sea just a short distance away.

There is a mini-bar zone and a beach front zone for you to relax in.

It is now 3:40 PM. To avoid wasting time, today I will take pictures of the sea in one or two bays. The first bay is "Ao Yai (Thap Awan)". This is a wide, long, and peaceful sandy beach, but it is low tide now.

Next up is "Ao Kio", which offers a unique view of the rocky cliffs. But, as you can see, we came during low tide.

The last bay of the day at "Widow Bay" in front of our bungalow. Take a walk and enjoy the sunset. The natural light is really beautiful.

Day 2 (May 7, 2016)

Waking up to the first light of day, greeted by the sound of waves and the barking of a dog. I guess it must have been barking at my bedhead hair, haha.

It's time to explore the first bay of the day, "Ao Kwang Pi". Let me tell you, the road to this bay is quite rough. If you're not a confident driver, it's recommended to park your car at the parking area near the entrance and walk to the bay. Today, the tide was high and the waves were strong, so we couldn't walk all the way to the end of the bay. What a shame!

Crystal clear water, beautiful sky, and a gentle breeze - this is what makes me feel happy.

Next up is "Ao Yai", a long beach where you can surf the waves. It also maintains the same tranquility as the other bays.

After being exhausted from the sun, let's take a nap under the tree for a while.

3:15 p.m. braving the sun and hot wind to "Ao Khao Kwai (Hin Thalu)". The highlight here is the view of the rock channel.

After enjoying the sea view for most of the day, this is another place we really wanted to see. Can we call it a highlight?

This is the Hippy Bar at Ao Khao Kwai. We have no information about who built it or what the idea behind it was.

The interior is amazing, as it's almost entirely made of wood. Every corner truly lives up to the name "hippie bar." This place mainly focuses on selling drinks.

There is no food menu, which is a pity because we couldn't sit and relax until evening. But we walked around, sat and watched, and took in the atmosphere around the shop for as long as possible.

The atmosphere on the way to the Moken village. This is another place that we didn't get to because it was already late in the evening. We missed the visit.

The day's trip ended with dinner before checking into our accommodation. We went back to sleep in our hammocks, listening to chill music and gazing at the waves in front of our bungalow. At that moment, just thinking about having to leave this place tomorrow made us feel lonely and whiny.

Day 3 (May 8, 2016)

After a satisfying breakfast, we checked out of Sabai Sabai Beach Bungalow around 10:00 AM and headed towards Ao Mae Mai. We still had the floating temple on our list of places to visit before heading back.

Inside, there is a Buddha statue for worship. Let's sit and relax in the cool evening.

Looking down into the water from outside, under the bridge, there are small fish swimming around this area.

Since we bought the ferry tickets for 2:00 PM, we had some time to spare, so we stopped by Blue Sky Resort to relax, eat, and chill.
Sitting back, listening to relaxing music by the sea, it was pure bliss! It was truly amazing.

The original text is in English, so no translation is needed.

And then our time came at 1:45 p.m. We drove the motorcycle back to the Sawasdee shop and walked to board the boat at the pier.

The mail boat we bought for the return trip is owned by the same company as the Hello shop where we rented the motorbike. There will only be seats on the lower deck.

4:20 PM. And then we arrived back at the Ranong pier, as if waking up from a dream, returning to reality somehow. Haha.
From the Ranong pier, walk out of the alley no more than 200 meters, you will find the entrance and wait for the red songthaew, 15 baht per person.

The songthaew will pass in front of the Chokonan office (car P.1). Okay, it's time to buy tickets back to Bangkok.

We have tickets for the 8:00 PM show. We have to wait a long time before the train leaves.

From here, we boarded the 8:00 PM P.1 bus of the Chokonan company and arrived at the Southern Bus Terminal at 6:00 AM on May 9, 2016. And the fast-paced life of a salaryman returned in an instant.

Traveling is a lesson outside the box. It's an experience and a memory that's really cool.
As for the destination we set out to reach, it also made us realize how valuable the journey is.
There are still many places waiting for us to discover. Thank you everyone for joining us on this journey so far.
