Many times, people search for answers to what they truly desire in life, but there is not even a hint of an answer.
This has led people to constantly travel, and eventually many may find answers, while others may not.
We may not yet find the answer. But if we have to suffer from trying,
So today, we should cherish the good times around us while we wait for the answer.
For this trip, I have to say that I actually planned to go at the end of last year and made a good appointment with my friends.
In the end, I couldn't go because of work. I had to sit and eat alone while my friends went out. After that, do you understand how I felt?
It's like talking to someone who doesn't know what they're talking about, but that's okay. I guess I'll just have to go it alone. Do you want me to do some research?
I'm a little nervous, but I'm thinking about going with the flow. It'll be fun! 555 Are you ready? If you are, let's go for it! ........
-- Bangkok - Udon Thani --
Day 1
The first travel option I considered was to fly to Udon Thani Airport.
Then take a bus to the transport station, but there is a chance of missing the bus. But the most important thing is to wake up early. What time is it really? (It's just an excuse, haha)
The second option is to take an evening bus and sleep on the bus for one night.
Then I went to Udon Thani Transportation Center and bought a ticket to Vang Vieng, which seemed more convenient. On the way back, I took a plane. However, there was a minor issue: I had never taken a long bus ride before. I usually took planes because it was convenient, but since I was already there, I thought I'd give it a try. If you don't dare, you won't make progress, right? 555 So I chose the second option. After making a decision, I went to buy a ticket in the morning. The officer told me that the bus would leave at 9:00 PM sharp. That was it, no other details. I just found out that buses also have seat selection. So I chose a window seat, of course. What else? I used the same theory as when I was on a plane. Haha, is it related? 55 After that, I went back to pack my things, stuffed them into my bag, and then took a nap to find some more information. After that, I called my friend and told her that I was leaving. My friend, who is the best, screamed from afar, "Hey, you're leaving already? Will you make it? Should I find some more information for you? You might still have time." Then she wished me luck and hoped that I would meet some handsome guys and bring some back for her. Even though she went before me, she couldn't bring any back, so what could I expect from myself? I hung up on her and went back to sleep until the alarm clock woke me up. Then I got ready to wait for the bus at the station. I arrived half an hour before the departure time.
The bus arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport, which is conveniently located near my house. It was a company bus that terminated its route in Nong Khai, but it also made a stop at Udon Thani's transportation hub.
The seat next to me was occupied by a woman, but we didn't exchange a single word throughout the entire journey.
The silence that has enveloped us has created a void between us, accompanied by the snoring of an unnamed person. 555
At first, I was a little scared, like anything we've never experienced before, we must be a little scared, right? But after sitting for a while, the sound in the car went silent.
But what's important is that it has songs, very old songs that I don't know any of, but they fit the atmosphere perfectly. It's like a sleeping pill.
I don't know if all the cars open like this, because it's my first time riding. The car shot onto the road, and at first I didn't dare to fall asleep.
Thinking ahead to what might happen if something happens, even though I have to add some positive thinking to it, you know. Another way of saying it is daydreaming.
But another part of me thinks, who could be so unlucky? But it's like, white and black are fighting, right? But as time goes by, can you imagine what will happen next?
I'm not tired, but I'm sleepy.
--Vang Vieng--
DAY 2
Around 1 am, the car stopped at the Nakhon Ratchasima Transport Station. I woke up confused and then...
An employee announced that there was free lunch and tore up the coupon. Then, they walked away confused, but the coupon was actually valid.
But I have to pay more. But did you forget? It's so late to eat. Oh my god.
Not really, usually if it's a little dark, I don't eat it. Because I'm stingy, hey, no, I'm more like a pity. I'll buy some snacks with it.
After that, we got in the car and drove for a long, long time. It was so tiring that I don't even remember how long it was. I only remember feeling relieved when we finally arrived.
It was around 4 am, and after that I couldn't fall asleep again until 5:50 am.
The bus arrived at Udon Thani Transportation Center safely. The light rain that had been falling started to subside. As soon as we arrived at the transportation center,
Life is like a superstar, like a very rich and beautiful woman. 55
It is recommended not to make eye contact or just say that you are transferring to a bus, and then you will disappear in the blink of an eye. 555
Ticket booth
As you walk along the path, you will see the ticket booth. However, it is not yet open for sale because it opens at 6 am. Now, from the legendary word of mouth, let me tell you that if you move a little, your life will change.
Let me tell you, this is the real deal. From what I've experienced, the counter opens at 6:30 AM and there's already a long line. The ticket price is 320 baht, so you have to...
Purchased with a passport. 1 person can buy 1 ticket. After that, I waited for the bus. The bus left at 8.30, so I stopped by to get something to eat first.
Not far from the transport, I found an egg pan shop. Why wait? Let's go!
The food was delicious and went well with the tea. After finishing our meal, it was almost time for our train to leave, so we hurried to the platform to board.
On the bus, you will be given two immigration forms to fill out. The first form is for Thailand and the second form is for Laos. Please write in English.
Thai goalkeeper can't read, lol. Just kidding. 55
This kind of face
After about 40 minutes of driving, you will reach the Thai checkpoint. Please get off the bus to have your passport stamped for exiting the country. Then, get back on the same bus and continue your journey.
To continue to the Lao checkpoint, the speed depends on the number of people. At the Lao checkpoint, we need to add a step, which is to buy a border pass card.
It's like our BTS card, but on weekdays it costs 5 baht = 1000 kip. On Saturdays and Sundays it costs 50 baht, but I didn't take a picture of it because I was in a hurry.
After that, I went to stamp the passport through the border. Once I passed this point, I inserted the card and it was all done.
Before leaving, an officer will check everything again. Our job now is to keep the remaining leaves only.
You'll be safe, get in the same car.
We're going to be sitting here for a while, this is already in Laos territory.
We arrived around noon, and the bus stopped here for a 20-minute break. There are many shops selling food and drinks.
After everything was done, we took a long car ride.
I understand that this is probably a recommended dish.
I slept on and off for a long time, until around 3 pm when the car stopped at the pier. After that, a shared taxi took me into town.
The address is Lanee, it's right in the city center, but we have to walk a bit more. Oh my god, where am I going? I'm lost.
This feels like the heroine is looking for the hero or something like that 555. But I don't know when the hero will be waiting. So right now, only the mouth can help you.
I asked for directions and the people here are very friendly. They pointed me in the right direction, saying to go straight, turn right, then turn left and continue straight.
You will see the bank soon, then go straight and you will see the hotel. Turn right and walk straight ahead, you will see it soon. Then I walked on and was confused because I didn't know where to turn right.
How far is it to walk here? Until finally I found it.
"Champasak Bungalow" The owner is Thai, kind-hearted. During this period, there are not many people. There are rooms for us to choose from as we like.
On the way, a handsome foreigner called out to us to look at a room. We were about to answer when a woman came out. The foreigner spoke Lao very clearly, "Hello, how are you?"
My wife came out to follow me, but we didn't even have time to say hello to each other. Oh, we're back to the accommodation issue.
The atmosphere is very worthwhile, commensurate with the tiring journey. The atmosphere here is really beautiful.
Quiet and beautiful beyond description in pictures or words.
The owner took me to the room.
The room has free wifi. Fan room. You can pay in Thai baht or Lao kip, whichever is convenient.
After settling into our accommodation, we decided to head out and explore the surroundings.
The atmosphere around the city
Must-try food at Subway in Laos: Sandwich with ham, bacon, and cheese.
To be honest, I was just going to buy it as a snack before I went to get something to eat. I saw the seller making it and thought, "Hey, that's not a lot."
I was thinking of ordering roti to finish it off, I'm sure I'll finish it, it's only a little bit. I'm still wondering if I'll be full or not. Now that the seller has finished making it.
Oh my god, it's huge! You'd be lucky to finish half of it. I recommend getting two servings and asking the seller to split it in half and put it in a box.
There's more roti. Oh my god, I'm going to die. Well, if I can't finish it, I'll save it for dinner.
This hand cost 30,000. It looks very rich and beautiful lol. I made this up myself. But don't forget to check the currency. It's 55,555 Kip.
Keep looking at the pictures.
After walking around the city taking photos, I stopped by to buy a 1-day trip to go through the rubber rings in the cave, paddle to the Blue Lagoon, and zip line.
I got a tour at a reasonable price. At first, I looked around many places because there were many places to choose from, and each place had a different price.
Here's a tip: walk in and haggle persistently. You might not get the price you want, but the price you do get will be lower than the initial offer.
Of course, it will be cheaper than usual. After that, I returned to the accommodation because it was already dark. I have to leave early tomorrow morning and the car will pick me up at 8.30 am.
I got back at around 8pm because I was haggling over the tour price for a while, haha, so I was a bit late. When I got back to my accommodation, I still had some roti in my hand.
Well, it's a pity to waste it. You can eat it late at night. After eating bread, I was so full. After that, I played Wi-Fi until late at night. I was going to sleep, so I went to sleep right away.
But this is a great mission. I have to eat roti. In the end, I ate it all and then went to sleep. Eat like this.
The fat has come to ask to move closer. The atmosphere tonight is very good.
The light rain during the night made the air cool and comfortable, so I didn't need to turn on the fan. I turned off the lights and slept soundly. Sweet dreams... Hehe...
Please wait for the continuation below--Day 3 –
Woke up at 6:30 am. Last night, I slept soundly with the sound of rain and the smell of soil. The atmosphere was perfect.
Living here feels like time moves differently compared to Thailand. Here, I can live life at a slower pace, without feeling rushed.
After finishing my personal errands, I went out to order food. The food at the accommodation tasted really good. As soon as I finished eating, the car came to pick me up.
On the way, take a deep breath, there are not many cars running.
We arrived at the entrance to the cave, which was not accessible by car, so we had to walk. We were given equipment, shirts, waterproof bags, and a bottle of water.
Put everything valuable in here, including your phone, camera, and anything else you don't want to break. After that,
We will then walk across the bridge to where the guide will explain what we need to do, similar to a travel plan.
After we were done, we walked for about 20 minutes to reach the cave entrance.
On the way to the cave
Sometimes I wonder if we're really in New Zealand or not. The atmosphere is so similar.
We then reached a resting point where we were asked to crawl through a cave. I didn't take any pictures at this point, but the guide instructed us to leave all our belongings on a table together.
We can't bring it in because it's too narrow, but don't worry, there will be a guide to watch it for you.
Let me describe the atmosphere a little. The first thing is to pick up a lifebuoy and then distribute headlamps.
Here, we lie down on an inflatable ring and hold onto a rope as we are guided deeper into the cave.
Entering the cave, you'll find stalactites and stalagmites, but the water is so cold it's like being in an ice bath. I love it! As you go deeper, you'll encounter people coming out.
The sound will be very loud because people are splashing water on each other. It's fun. After going all the way into the cave, we came out the same way. But there were a lot of Chinese and Korean tourists here.
And then there were a lot of people jumping into the water, no need to tell their age, haha. I looked around but didn't see any young men. When I came out, it was time for lunch.
I forgot to mention that lunch is included in the one-day pass, so you don't have to pay extra.
Now I can take the camera to take pictures, but I'm wet, but I want to take pictures.
Lunch
Fried rice 1 box
Bread
2 skewers of BBQ
Banana
In terms of taste, I can only say that you should wait until you are really hungry. I guarantee that it will be very delicious.
But if you eat normally, you have to admit that the taste is quite brutal. After finishing the meal, we walked back the same way.
After that, we continued by car to go kayaking. The road to the entrance was all gravel and the alley was very small. If it wasn't for
Arrived
I took a picture before I had to put the camera away because it would definitely break. 55
The sun was really strong that day, and even lotion couldn't keep me cool. I paddled for a while and decided to stop at a bar for about 20 minutes to rest.
This area will have drinks, such as beer or soft drinks, and there will also be sports to play. I saw some people drinking beer, some people sleeping.
Some people play sports, and some people are sweet to each other. 55 When it's time, they get on the boat and paddle on. Along the way, their bodies are always wet.
The guide kept splashing me with water the whole way, so I could only take a few photos. In the end, I had to put my camera away or it would have been ruined by the water.
After paddling for a while, we reached the city center. This is where we will get off the boat and continue our journey by car.
To get to the Blue Lagoon, we had to wade through the water. We got soaked, but it was worth it. We were so wet that we dried off, and then got wet again. It was a bit confusing, haha.
As I continued my journey to the Blue Lagoon by car,
Finally arrived, but I have to play zip line first, but it's a pity that I can't bring my camera.
The guide told me to leave my belongings and then put on the safety equipment to go play. I couldn't take any photos, but it was so much fun!
When you come back, you will feel that your life has changed. The fear in your heart will disappear. This is what I have experienced myself.
However, I recommend that when you go up to the first checkpoint, you need to put in a lot of effort because it feels like the higher you go, the colder it gets. 555
After passing 12 zip line checkpoints, time is almost up. Now, there is only a little time left.
At first glance, why wasn't it blue at all? But whatever, maybe everyone's camera is different lol.
They said they said at first I didn't dare to jump like many people were excited. I was afraid of losing face. But anyway, let's do it.
It's so cold it goes straight to the bone. The water is too cold to explain, I don't know how to describe it. It's so refreshing, it's like being frozen. This place is the best.
Oh, there are many Thai people here too. I know because they came to sing songs, but not long after, the fun time was over.
I don't really want to go back here. The Korean guy is so handsome. Oops, that's a bit exaggerated.
After a while, the guide called us back to the car and we headed back to the accommodation (I feel like a Teletubby right now) The fun is over 555
We arrived at the accommodation around 6 pm, but the sun was still shining.
After finishing my shower, it was time to go out and find something to eat. Today, I walked along the path and came across the Chai Si Noodles and Dumplings shop.
This is a Thai dish, and if you go a little further, it's five-star chicken. But I decided to eat red pork and crispy pork with rice instead. Well, I'm in Thailand, so I won't eat it.
Come eat in Laos 55 But the crispy pork is serious, not kidding. As for the taste, it's okay, not bad at all. This dish is 20,000 kip.
I saw a smoothie and had to get one. An apple smoothie was only 5,000 kip, which is about $2.
After a satisfying meal, we went to buy tickets for the morning bus to Vientiane. The bus will pick us up at our accommodation at 8:30 am. Then, we returned to our room to rest.
My whole body is sore, but it was so much fun. Tomorrow I'm going to the cave. I asked the locals how to get there and luckily someone gave me directions.
Let's talk about it later.
-DAY 4 –
I slept like a log last night because I was so tired. I don't know when I passed out, but I woke up this morning.
I woke up early today. Oh no, will I make it in time? The clock says 7:15 AM. Okay, I asked for directions yesterday, so it shouldn't take long to bike there.
Rent a bike and ride to the important place! ! ! ! ! Don't forget to wear sunscreen, or you'll melt. It's still very early.
But on the way back, I imagined it would be very hot. At first, it was like, "Hey, okay, it's got a great vibe."
What is this kind of beautiful aura? But I didn't have time to be happy for long, what the hell is this?
The off-road trail has begun. The bumps are very bouncy for men who go there by bike.
It is recommended to wear safety equipment on all parts of the bicycle because it may change your life 555
It was a different kind of fun, but since we went early, there weren't many people there. There were only 2-3 people. The entrance fee was 2000 kip = 8 baht.
I've been riding for a while now and I've finally arrived.
We've arrived at the bridge! Enjoying the morning view while everyone else is still asleep. What are we doing here while everyone else is still gone?
It's so comfortable, the air is good, there's fog in the morning ........
No caption, just a picture.
I didn't get to take a picture of the cave because my alarm went off at 8:08 AM. I figured I wouldn't have enough time, so I'll have to save it for next time.
I have to cycle back now or I'll miss the bus. I need to hurry up and find something to eat before the bus arrives.
I cycled as fast as I could in my life and luckily, the car arrived late. I had time to grab something to eat. After I finished eating, I checked out and the car arrived just in time.
What could be more perfect timing than this? But I'm a little sad right now, feeling like I have to leave to face something else.
At that time, my heart thought that I wanted to stay, but I had a mission to go to Vientiane. I felt like I had to leave my boyfriend and it would be a long time before I could see him again.
But we must make up our minds to say goodbye. We must leave Vang Vieng, the quiet and charming place. We have a mission to continue to Vientiane.
See you in Vientiane then..........
I apologize if there are any mistakes. I may have made some typos or errors, so please overlook them.
I hope this will make many people smile a little, but if it is useful for someone, I am very happy.
I couldn't help but smile a little. 555 As for those who are waiting to travel or are hesitant to go,
It's a shame to miss out on opportunities because we're afraid.
As for those who say they will wait until they are older and have more money before they go, what if they reach that day and are unable to go due to lack of strength?
Or if there is no breath, it would be sad, wouldn't it? Everyone has their own reasons.
But if we just try to open our minds and go out to meet new things, step out of our old way of life, and step beyond our limits.
And you will find incredible changes as well.
Thank you for following and watching us until now. If you like it, please keep following us... Hehe.
Thank you very much.
