Hello, I've arrived at this thread, the Lipe thread! Let me tell you, my friends and I have been dying to go to Lipe! for a long time now. We've been dreaming about it, dreaming about going until we lost hope, because our trips are so packed that we don't even care about our wallets.
Out of the blue, one of my friends suggested that we try our luck at this place, in case we get to go to the first place. We were a bit hesitant, thinking that it would be nice if we got to go, but it wouldn't be a big deal if we didn't, because we're not very good at talking, and we're only okay at taking pictures. But we have a passion for traveling and dream of becoming professional travelers someday. 555 We love the sun, the sunlight, the sea, the mountains, the waterfalls. We love traveling. New places always have something wonderful waiting for us. And right now, we think we have a lifelong project: we want to work as art teachers for children at schools on islands, living on each island for a year and then moving on. It sounds like so much fun!
We joined the "Phuri Tara Resort Koh Lipe" activity. We tried to gather as many places, photos, and threads as we could that we had written before. If you count them, you'll see that we've been traveling like this for over 6 years now. 555 My mom once asked me if I wanted to use this money to buy a car. I just smiled sheepishly. ><" And then that evening, I received a phone call. The person on the other end, named Joe, asked if we were ready to go to Lipe! Ohhhhh, I screamed... At that moment, I was so excited, my face went numb. I called my friends right away, I could barely contain myself. We were going to be stranded on an island for 4 days and 3 nights. I was so excited! ^^
Escape love, go to Li...pe, inspired by the heartbreak of a fellow traveler. So we decided to name the trip after our friend to honor them. We'll take our friend to the island, go diving, see fish, and coral reefs. So they can have the strength, the energy, the hope to forget what has passed, to let it melt away with the seawater. Like throwing love into the sea. Let's fight!
We are going on a trip ^^
We've arrived in Hat Yai! It only took us a little over an hour to get here. So relaxing...
Upon arrival at Hat Yai International Airport, simply follow the exit signs and walk straight ahead. At the end of the path, you will see blue songthaews parked. You can hop on one of these. If you are not planning to stay in Hat Yai, you can get off at the Kaset Market Bus Station and transfer to a van heading to Pak Bara Pier.
We took a songthaew to the Kaset Market Passenger Transport Station. We booked a ticket at counter number 9. We got the 8:10 AM bus. The journey didn't take long. We arrived at Pak Bara Pier at 10:00 AM, comfortably on time. We walked to the boat company that our friend had booked for us, Adang Sea. Once we had our round-trip boat tickets, we arranged our way back home. We booked a return bus ticket with the company. They have a service that takes you to the bus station. It was so easy and we didn't have to worry about missing the bus or the boat.
We walked to the pier building and paid a small fee. We got ready to board the boat. We just found out that the boat we booked will take us to Tarutao Island and Khai Island as well. It was so relaxing. This trip was a success and we got to visit several islands.
This is the atmosphere on the boat. I don't know if our boat is small or if there are just a lot of people. It's full to the brim.
We boarded the boat at 11:30 AM. We booked a seat at the back of the boat, right in the middle, thinking it would be the most relaxing. After about half an hour on the boat, I started to feel sleepy. The view was beautiful, but I couldn't resist the drowsiness. But then I was startled awake by the boat drifting! It was so much fun, I wanted more! >< We arrived at Tarutao Island, where we were allowed to explore the island before continuing our journey. We reached Koh Kai, which I loved. The orange sand was adorable. We arrived at Koh Lipe at 1:40 PM, floating aimlessly in the middle of the pier.
I haven't come to my senses yet at Tarutao Island, so I don't have any pictures. But I have pictures of Koh Kai to share with you.

This is Koh Tarutao. I only have one picture. ==
As we arrived at the jetty in the middle of the sea, in front of us was Koh Lipe! We were so excited! >< We paid the fees and took a long-tail boat from the jetty to the island. We're finally going to be stranded on an island! ^^
We have called the staff at Phuritra Resort to pick us up. We are waiting at the entrance of Walking Street. We will be heading to the resort soon.
Okay, the first beach we visited was Pattaya Beach. The beachfront has a fair number of restaurants and bars. At night, it gets very lively, with fire baton shows from each of the restaurants.
Upon arriving at Phuritra Resort, we had a brief chat with the owner, Mr. Joe. He treated us to a delicious meal right away. The staff here are polite, friendly, and provide excellent service. The resort itself is stunning and surrounded by nature. Mr. Joe explained that they built the resort without cutting down any trees. Wherever there was a clearing, they simply set up a house. They have a deep respect for nature. Our accommodation is a resort located on the west side of the island, directly facing Sunset Beach. The view is simply breathtaking, especially during sunset. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind. ^^
Our Phuritra Resort is located on Sunset Beach. Is there anywhere more relaxing than this? Sit back, enjoy the view, eat, and watch the sunset. I'm so lucky to be here. As for food, I must say it's amazing. From morning, noon, or evening, there's a bar selling food and drinks here. You don't have to go anywhere else.
Finally tonight, we're going to sleep and rest up. Tomorrow we're going on a diving trip, guys!
There's a sunrise for every sunset, right? This side is on the other side of the island, but you can walk there if you want to see the sunrise in the morning.
During our trip to Koh Lipe, due to its small size, locals typically get around by long-tail boat, kayak, bicycle, or by using the services of the "salee-ng" motorbike taxis.
We woke up early, showered, got dressed, ate breakfast, and then boarded the boat. We set sail at 9:00 AM. The morning air was fresh and crisp.
This is Hin Ngam Island, a truly beautiful place. If you want to take stunning photos, I recommend capturing the rocks when they are wet. The sunlight reflecting off the water creates a breathtaking effect.
And then we went diving at the first spot, behind Hin Ngam Island. The bottom was quite deep, but we weren't afraid, haha. We dived for an hour and it was so much fun. The bottom was really beautiful, with lots of coral, pufferfish, clownfish, eels, and colorful fish. There was a slight mishap due to fatigue. We got on the boat, and the boat owner swam over and asked us why we were on his boat. It wasn't our boat, haha. We sheepishly said we were tired and needed a rest. The boat owner gave us a bottle of water, and we left peacefully. ><
Oh, I forgot to mention that there is a sign at Hin Ngam Island that says "Do not stack rocks." I didn't stack any rocks, I don't know who did. I just came here to take pictures.
We stopped for lunch at Koh Adang. The resort staff prepared food, fruits, and drinks for us.
We made a discovery here: there is accommodation here that looks like a great place to sleep. It's quiet, there are few people, and you can sleep in a tent, really camping on the island. It would be nice to chill out here for a night.
I have some sad news. I went diving, but I didn't have an underwater camera. But the people who took me diving did, so I was able to get some beautiful underwater pictures to share with you. I can tell you that next time I go diving, I'll definitely be bringing my own underwater camera! ^^
Let's take a look at the beauty beneath the water. The coral here is beautiful and looks healthy. The fish here are fierce, they even bit my leg, haha. The guide told me that the highlight is at Jabang Channel, where there are seven-colored corals. He told me to count them, so I did, and I got more than seven! In the morning when we went, the weather was very clear. But in the late morning, it looked like it was going to rain, the sky was cloudy. So we couldn't see underwater very clearly. The guide also emphasized about the boat. He told me that our boat's name is Pitsak, not Pitsarak, haha. He was joking, meaning he was afraid that we would get on the wrong boat again, right!
Talking so much that I forgot about my travel companions 5555
Let's rest for a while before continuing with the next activity. ^^
We were captivated by Koh Kra, a tiny island in the middle of the sea with only a small sandy beach and not too far away. So we went to tell the staff at Phuri Tara Resort that we were going to kayak to Koh Kra. They kindly checked the wind, weather, and currents for us. In the end, we had to give up because the wind was strong and there were waves. So we used the services of a long-tailed boat instead.
Upon arriving at Koh Kra, we were greeted by a small island teeming with piles of large seashells. Some of them were even adorably hung from trees. The crystal-clear turquoise water and the incredibly fine sand made it a truly worthwhile return visit this morning.
I want to stay on this island forever. Can I pitch a tent and sleep here? I love it so much.
Here's some cuteness from Nong Poo. Follow the link below.

Let's move on and take a look at some of the nightlife attractions. Walking Street is a pedestrian street at night, lined with shops selling souvenirs, food, and drinks. The most popular item seems to be roti, with people queuing up for ages. We don't have any photos of the atmosphere because it was so crowded and inconvenient to take any. 5555 But what we really liked and enjoyed was the beachfront area of Pattaya. There's a long, long bar stretching all the way along the beach, and each bar has a super chill vibe. They have seating and even beds where you can lie down and enjoy the view of the sea at night. Each bar also has fire baton shows, which are a lot of fun to watch.
Cute painting work, get the islander style. Let's go diving and see the coral reefs ^^
We woke up early to watch the sunrise, but all we got was a picture of a boat. The clouds covered the sun completely. So sad. TT
Still, still, still have a lot of affection for us, we're still laughing 5555
It's time to go home now. I feel sad and don't want to leave. Can I stay? Can I stay here forever? I started to dream about working on islands all over Thailand, one island a year. Pleaseeeeeeee But it's just a dream. We have to go home now.
On the day we left, we booked an airboat at 11:30 am. We didn't want to rush, so we slept in and relaxed until it was time to leave. We sat on the beach waiting for the boat back. Why don't I feel as excited as I did when I came here?
Our boat has already left. We came back and slept soundly. We arrived at Pak Bara Pier at 1:10 PM. We had plenty of time left, so we walked around waiting for 2 PM.
The staff at Adang Sea will send us to the bus at 3:30 PM. When we arrived at the bus station, we went to relax at a coffee shop. When we looked at the clock, oops! The bus to Bangkok, Satun, Trang has already passed. My friend said, "No way, it can't be. If it was, the staff would have called us." I was suspicious, so I went to the bus station. The staff at the bus station looked surprised. "Your bus has already left!" 555 I was in a hurry. I carried my stuff and called my friend. The staff at the bus station was kind. They were afraid that we wouldn't be able to go home, so they called the bus driver to wait for us. I told you I didn't want to go back yet, see? 5555 There must always be an event. Either on the way there or on the way back, I either miss the boat or the bus. This is another fun part of traveling.
We were driving for a while, and then suddenly, the car started making a strange noise. Uh oh, we got a flat tire! 5555 Oh well, we're already in the car, so we'll just have to make the best of it. We'll get home eventually. ++
At the end of this trip, my friend and I would like to thank Phuritra Resort for organizing such a wonderful event for us to participate in and for giving young travelers like us the opportunity to follow our dreams. Thank you very much. Thank you to P'Jai, the lovely staff, and the people of Koh Lipe. Thank you to the two other people who joined us on the diving trip, new friends! And thank you to our friend who goes everywhere with us, goes on trips, goes out to eat, goes to work, never says no, and always invites us out. 555 I hope our friend gets well soon, has fun, is happy as always, and even more than before. Lots of love!
We would like to leave a small souvenir at the resort. Thank you very much.
