Feel free to leave your body at the foot of the Ma Prang Hill.
This trip is a continuation of the trip to find the missing fog at Khao Takhian Ngo, Khao Kho.
December 27, 2015 After taking some decent photos of the sea of mist, Jack drove down from Khao Kho, following Highway 12 towards Phitsanulok. This road has been recently resurfaced, and the views along the way are stunning.
I wanted to stop and take a picture, but it was a two-way road and I couldn't park. As I drove on, I came across a viewpoint where I could park and there were also food vendors.
The view is of a mountain range, intricate and complex, with wisps of fog teasing the mountain peaks in the distance. It's almost noon, and there's still fog around.
.............................................................................................................
After taking photos until our hearts were content, we continued driving. We followed the road, passing the entrance to Thung Salaeng Luang on the other side.
Driving up to Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park, I couldn't help but wonder where we would be sleeping tonight, Jack.
We stopped at a gas station and got an iced green tea from Amazon (the queue was very long). Then we started looking for accommodation, but there wasn't much information available. We found Baan Por Rae, but when we called, there was no answer.
Found another place from a page here in Khao Hin Son, called Ing Nam Resort. I called and they said they'd come in. So I have a place to sleep tonight. I'm saved!
From the reviews I've seen, the attractions in the Nein Maprang district are quite far apart. Jack is still unsure how to plan his trip and can't quite visualize it yet.
Let's choose accommodation in the district first. We'll figure out how to travel later.
Continue driving on Highway 12, not to the city center. Turn left onto Highway 11, then turn left onto Highway 1295. This road will pass the entrance to Ban Rak Thai. Continue driving straight.
Jack's accommodation entrance will be on the right hand side and about 700 meters before the district office. But don't stop yet.
Let's go to your house first.
Go straight and you will see the district office on the left. This is a 3-way intersection. Go out to Highway 1115.
If you turn left, you will reach Ban Mung. If you turn right, you will reach Sak Lek district. This three-way intersection is a market area. If you are looking for food, this is the place to be.
The main points to visit are to take pictures of the limestone mountain range that stretches through the village.
And the unseen Phetchabun is millions of bats flying out of the cave to find food in the evening.
which is located in Ban Mung, less than 10 kilometers from the district office.
Enter the village
We have arrived at Ban Mung. This is a small village surrounded by limestone mountains. The villagers' way of life is normal, and it doesn't seem like a tourist town. It's still very original here.
This is a limestone mountain with a lot of it in this village.
Beautiful view
There are many angles.
That angle is beautiful, this angle is beautiful too.
I want to stop and take pictures all the way.
Oh, I forgot to mention that Phitsanulok is very hot. 5555
I got some scenic photos and then checked into my accommodation. My camera battery is about to die.
Here is the accommodation.
Here is the accommodation.
The houses are detached and cost 400 baht each. They come in a variety of colors and have a balcony in front of the room where you can relax and sit comfortably.
In the room. This picture was taken at night.
Phone number please.
Nearby, there are also additional rooms under construction. There are not many accommodations here yet, perhaps because there are still few tourists.
This corner is not far from the accommodation. I saw it when I turned around. I stopped to take a picture.
I went out to take pictures of bats. There were 2 groups of people waiting to take pictures with me. We waited for a while, and around 6 pm, the first group of bats started to come out. Then they came out continuously. This is UNSEEN Phitsanulok.
A lottttttttttt
I took many photos before I could capture the right direction. The photos I got are okay, I'm very satisfied.
Oh my god, I'm so happy with the photos I got. That's it, I'm ready to go back to Bangkok because I have to travel back home to Phetchaburi.
Looking for food before, the sub-district of Noen Maprang at night.
The last day
Good morning. I'm having breakfast and getting ready to head back to Bangkok. I had chicken rice near the market for 25 baht. It was so cheap I almost cried.
There are actually many caves to visit here, but I didn't go. The place where most people go is the one with the tree swing, which is at Ban Rak Thai.
There are accommodations and homestays there, but we didn't go. It's quite far from the district. It was a continuous trip, so we just stopped to take pictures here. Our time was up, so we considered it a stopover on our way back to Bangkok. We got two views, which was enough. We came out of curiosity about what was there and what it was like. We saw it, and now we can go home with peace of mind. 5555
Thank you all for following Jack's story. See you again.
