Last year during the rainy season, I suddenly felt like going to Chiang Mai, so I begged my family to take me. . .

- Our 3-day, 2-night Chiang Mai trip begins! Yay! -

First of all, we traveled by private car, which was convenient and saved us a lot of travel time.

We used Google Maps to navigate to each location.

..

..

Let's go!

When we went... it was drizzling and foggy. The weather was really nice.

The road up to Mon Cham is very steep and narrow. It is not recommended for people who are not good at driving. The road is really scary (even scarier than Phu Thap Berk).
There will be a section where you have to pass through a Hmong village on a single-lane road that is also steep. You must drive with caution.

After descending from Mon Cham, we continued to the Queen Sirikit Botanic Garden, which is about 4 km away.
The entrance fee is 40 THB for adults and 100 THB for cars (including driver).
Our destination was the 'Drought-Tolerant Plant Greenhouse' (the garden is a circular route, and cars are allowed).

The second day began with… a signature Chiang Mai coffee shop. Seeing pictures of this shop on Instagram made me think… one day, I have to go there.

We arrived before the shop opened, but the kind owner let us in. (The shop opens at 10:00 AM.)

Green tea muffin: Soft dough, fragrant with green tea aroma, and just the right amount of sweetness.
Bagel: Freshly baked, chewy dough. Those who like organic pastries should not miss it because the shop uses natural yeast too, you know~

We were worried that our parents wouldn't like it because it's a popular spot for teenagers, but we were wrong. 555555 It's actually very peaceful and shady here.

Jibberish shop has a lot of cute handmade items.

Lunchtime... We had lunch at this restaurant. It's on the same street as the house next to the temple. The price is also reasonable, 20 baht for a small bowl and 35 baht for a large bowl. And it's so delicious! I'm telling you, it's amazing! ><

Wat Umong is located in the same area as the house next to the temple. The temple is really beautiful. Let the pictures speak for themselves.

If you want more information, feel free to ask us. We're happy to answer. We've also been secretly collecting information on Pantip, so we have a lot to share.

Next up is a place that many people have probably been to, but... we haven't been there yet ><

The person with the most photos from this event is Dad. He seemed to enjoy it the most, lol. 55555555

Our main goal was to visit cool cafes . . . but in reality, we only managed to visit 3 (out of the 10+ we had planned). Sad face T T

This place is called Penguin villa. It's worth coming here because it's like a penguin village. Each shop sells different things, which we think is cool.
We took a lot of photos here, and the snacks were delicious and affordable too.

This piece from Penguin guetto : Penguin roll 60.-

This piece from Baking mania : Mango roll 90.-

Penguin CO-OP Shop: Sells cute zakka-style items from Japan (prices are a bit high). I took a lot of pictures!

Another one on our list is 'MAYA Rooftop'
I saw other people taking pictures with the sky, it's so chic, I want to have that kind of picture, so I wrote it down on the list.
. . . But the truth is . . . Going during the rainy season like this, where can I find a blue sky? The clouds are so dark!!!!!
. . . In conclusion, I didn't get to take a chic picture with the blue sky (emphasis!!! blue) as I intended.

In the evening, we booked accommodation near the Chiang Mai Walking Street (Sunday). . With the expectation that it should be okay, because it is famous
When we arrived. . I forgot what I thought. It is a walking street that focuses on selling (local) goods to foreigners. Food is hard to find. The road is very long~
In the end, I got 2 sticks of sausage back to the accommodation. .. With the thought in mind that
'How did we get here? We walked so far and only got sausage'

The last day before heading back T T I paid respects to the Buddha to bring good luck to my life. (I don't want to go back! I haven't collected all the coffee shops yet!!!!)

- That's all for this trip. Thank you for (getting lost) and reading this post that focuses on pictures with not many words. 55555 -
What we got from this trip to Chiang Mai is a 3-day impression that passed by so quickly. It was fun, it was tiring,
but it was really happy.
Sometimes, experiencing something new brings happiness like this. .

See you again . . . Chiang Mai, I promise to come back again
