This trip was the second time I had been to Hua Hin, so I chose to travel on the Labour Day holiday, May 1st. At first, we thought about going to Koh Lan, Khao Yai, or Hua Hin for a long time. In the end, we chose Hua Hin, thinking that the traffic wouldn't be too bad during this long holiday. Once we had made up our minds, we booked our accommodation immediately. We mostly like to book through Booking, it's convenient.

Hua Hin is a district well-known to both Thai and foreign tourists. It was originally called "Ban Samor Riang" or "Ban Laem Hin". King Prajadhipok (Rama VII) built Klai Kangwon Palace as a summer retreat, and it is currently the residence of the present King.

Today, Hua Hin is famous as a resort town that can be visited in one day and is only 196 kilometers from Bangkok. If you take the Rama II Road, it takes about 2.5-3 hours by car or 45 minutes by plane.
