Hello everyone, today we are going to visit an ancient site.

**Wat Phra Si Sanphet** is located within the ancient palace grounds. It is a Buddhist temple without resident monks, serving as a venue for important state ceremonies and housing the ashes of past monarchs. It is comparable to Wat Phra Si Rattana Satsadaram within the Grand Palace in Bangkok.
Today, only the brick and stucco ruins and three towering chedis remain, yet they continue to captivate tourists and draw them in for a visit.

Getting There
From Bangkok, take Asian Highway (Route 32) and turn left at the intersection to Ayutthaya. Continue straight across the Naresuan Bridge and follow Rojana Road until the end. Turn right at the old City Hall and continue to the roundabout near the Tourist Police office. Turn left and continue for about 500 meters. There will be a right turn, which leads to the back of the Wihan Phra Mongkhon Bophit. Wat Phra Si Sanphet will be just ahead.

From approximately 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM, there will be a light show to view the ancient monuments.
