Hello everyone, today we are going hiking. Hiking, hiking >< We haven't hiked up a waterfall in ten years. We usually go to the sea. We love the sea, but we want to try touching the mountains. I wonder if we can do it now. 5555 Let me tell you that our father loves hiking very much. But we have never gone hiking with him because he goes in for a week at a time. So he doesn't let us go with him because he's afraid we'll be a burden. >< We've been thinking to ourselves all along on this hike, why? Why does Dad like to hike? Let's see what's good hidden in the forest.
The place we are going to is Tothip Waterfall. The journey began when a friend I knew well suddenly messaged me asking if I wanted to go hiking. I said yes, of course! Who else is going? New friends from Phatthalung and LA. Let's give it a try. I don't know if I can handle the hike, but I'm just happy to be going.
Thothip Waterfall, some people call it Thotak Waterfall, it is rumored that there are a lot of leeches. We were indifferent because we had slept with leeches before at Khao Yai == But in March when we went, the weather was hot and dry, and there weren't many leeches. Try going during the rainy season, there are a lot of them. But even if there are no leeches, there might be ticks, so be careful.
The origin of the Tor Thip Waterfall in Kaeng Krachan National Park is at Khao Phanein Thung. Tor Thip Waterfall is 15 kilometers from Khao Phanein Thung. It can be reached by car and on foot for about 4 kilometers. It has 9 levels, with the 5th level being the most beautiful. So we went straight there, planning to reach the 5th level first and then continue on.
We made an appointment at five in the morning. Don't be late, don't be late. Brother Kob has been waiting for us. We left immediately. We left Phetchaburi city at five in the morning.
We drove on and on, arriving at Khao Pha Nen Thung around eight o'clock. The entire journey was through a forested mountain, and we had a blast riding in the car. We even saw a hornbill feeding its young in a tree hollow. The forest was incredibly lush and abundant.
This is a great spot to watch the sunrise. It's so beautiful.
We also arrived at the Khao Pha Nen Thung viewpoint, stopped to take some photos, and stopped to eat and rest for a while.
The first meal in the morning here is garlic chicken with fried egg, it's delicious.
Let's continue walking to the viewpoint. It's so good that we arrived late and there were otters, but there was still a sea of fog for us to see.
The weather is so nice, it's so refreshing.
After resting, we will continue our journey by car. Let's go! Hiking
We drove for a long time, and there were many birds along the way. We couldn't remember the names of any of them. But there were wild chickens that we remembered. We arrived at the forest path. There were four of us. Before we set off, we prepared lunch, drinking water, mosquito repellent, and lemongrass spray to spray and apply to prevent ticks and insects. Most importantly, we wore long pants and shirts with long sleeves. The fabric was thin and not hot, but we wore jackets because the inner shirt was very revealing.
Just the entrance is already painful. The road is very small and narrow. Small trees are blocking the way.
Let's go! The waterfall is waiting for us. Throughout the journey, we are not allowed to touch or sit on fallen logs or dead trees. This is because we may be bitten by ticks or other insects, which can be very dangerous.
We walked a little bit and then we came across a huge tree. It felt so good and we were so excited.
We kept walking without stopping. It was a lot. Sometimes we heard the gibbons singing, birds chirping, and wild animals making all sorts of noises along the way. The walking path was from the top of the mountain. We walked and walked, sometimes uphill, sometimes downhill. Sometimes the path was too steep and the soil was soft and fluffy (we guessed), so we slid down. 555 We fell down and sat down, then got up and continued walking.
Some sections of the hike are very steep and have ropes to help you climb. Be careful not to roll down.
We are very fit. Four kilometers, we walked for 70 minutes, which is very fast. We also arrived at the Tothip Waterfall, the waterfall of perseverance.
Standing proudly watching the waterfall. The water level is low at the moment. If you want to see it with more water, you'll have to come during the rainy season. However, they don't allow access during that time.
We brought the sea to meet the waterfall.
Just a little more and we can get into the water.
Let's relax and soak in the waterfall with the fish. The clear, cool water will wash away all the fatigue and effort of our journey. The water is so refreshing!
We rested for a while and then went swimming. It was time to go back. P'Kob will pick us up at three in the afternoon. == Don't leave the forest too late, it's dangerous. So we only got to the 5th floor, one floor. We'll have to leave a deposit for the other floors first. TT We'll see you again soon.
We traveled back the same way, but it took longer than before. It took us about 120 minutes to get back. How is that possible? I'm tired, you know. I don't believe it. Look at my back. I even took off my jacket. I walked and rested all the way, but I'm still okay.
As we arrived at the exit around three in the afternoon, the most delicious watermelon in the world was waiting for us. How could we be slow? Let's go quickly!
It's time to go home. We're on our way back and the rain is following us. The weather is really nice.
On our way back, we encountered gibbons, macaques, barking deer, numerous birds, wild chickens, and even hornbills. We felt fortunate to have had this experience. We made numerous stops along the way to observe wildlife. We arrived back in Phetchaburi city around 8 p.m. This was our ONE DAY TRIP.
Thank you P'Ton for inviting me to go hiking. Thank you June and Pang, my new friends. Thank you P'Kob for taking me there and giving me advice. Thank you P'Tom for introducing P'Kob to me.
From the question of why? Why does Dad like to hike? Today we know, even though what we will encounter is not half of what Dad has experienced, but we have answered the question ourselves. If one day Dad can go hiking again, I will go with you. "Love"
