The first sun of the new day, it was a Saturday like every other time I opened my eyes.
But this time, it was different.
The faint smell of salt wafted into my nostrils, an unfamiliar northern accent.
The sound of waves crashing from afar.
"Yes, today is no longer an ordinary Saturday."
Leaving Bangkok at 4:00 am, a distance of about 285KM with the condition of Phetkasem Road under construction.
So I couldn't drive fast, but it was good because it kept me from getting bored on the long journey. Dodging potholes left and right was fun.
The real destination I had planned was Chumphon, but because I was hungry while driving, I decided to stop immediately.
But stopping at a gas station seemed too easy. I had already been to Prachuap Khiri Khan city.
"Honey, I'm hungry." A cute and pressured voice whispered suddenly.
Since both of us love to cook, our usual habit is to walk around the fresh market in the morning.
See what's new in local ingredients. Shrimp, fish, crab from fishermen fresh from the sea, there are plenty of them. Vegetables also look fresh.
The lovely vendors, smiling, watching the unhurried lifestyle of the uncles and aunts in the gentle morning sun.
The unfamiliar smell of local food, the sound of coffee shops with cute accents.
Let's try the food here this morning, shall we? ^-^
