After visiting the magnificent beauty of Phanom Rung Historical Park, it's time to drive to Muang Tam Castle, which is not far from Phanom Rung Historical Park, about 8 kilometers away. Muang Tam Castle is a beautiful and shady castle with a lotus pond. Although not as large as Phanom Rung Castle, it has a magical charm from the ancient Khmer art.

The next day, in the afternoon, we headed to Mueang Buriram district because there is a new landmark that has just been completed, which is "Buriram Castle". It is located in the i-mobile stadium and the BRIC racetrack. There is a replica of Phanom Rung stone castle for visitors to see. In addition, there is also the "Great Shiva Lingam", which is considered to be the largest in the world, standing prominently on the new green space of the city.

The final stop at Khao Kradong Volcano Forest Park was a particularly interesting place because I didn't realize that Thailand had volcanoes. According to the information I found, Khao Kradong is an extinct volcano, and on top of the mountain, there is a replica of the Buddha's footprint and Phra Suphatthabophit, a large Buddha statue that the people of Buriram can worship. There are two ways to get to the top of the mountain: by car or by climbing the stairs, which has 297 steps.
