' Kanchanaburi '
A destination for many people
With its diverse landscape and nature, including mountains, rivers, and forests
There are also many tourist attractions waiting for you to discover
This trip, I planned for 2 days and 1 night and had the opportunity to stay at River Kwai Resotel Kaeng Lawa.
This resort is located right on the banks of the Mae Nam Khwae Noi River and is very close to nature.
Come to think of it, this is my fourth time visiting Kanchanaburi this year, haha.
I traveled from Bangkok by private car. Driving to Kanchanaburi is not difficult at all.
Of course, with Google Maps.
It took me a little over 2 hours to drive to Kanchanaburi.
This resort is on the same road as Sai Yok Yai Waterfall.
So I planned to stop by Sai Yok Yai Waterfall first.
Nothing much, I just wanted to collect the park's stamps :P
Traiyok Waterfall is located about 20 kilometers beyond the entrance to River Kwai Resotel.
After spending some time at the Traiyok Yai Waterfall,
I drove back the way I came to get to the Resort.
The Resort has two entrances, one by car and one by boat.
But I chose to go by boat because it was closer.
Look for this sign, it will be the entrance to the Phu Takhian Pier (Resotel Pier).
The sign will say Resotel, Kaeng Lawa, don't be alarmed, it's the same place.
Continue driving for about 3 kilometers following the signs, and you will reach the resort's parking lot.
You can park your car overnight here, as it is a private area of the resort.
There is security personnel on duty 24/7.
After preparing our luggage and parking the car, my girlfriend and I immediately went down to wait for the boat to take us to the resort.
The map and boat schedule of the Resort can be seen from this sign.
If it is outside of this time, you will need to hire your own boat.
This pier will also have boats from many resorts arriving here.
Therefore, you must inform the officer that you will be disembarking at Resotel.
Let's go!
Oh, oh, oh, the boat has left. Wait for the next round. T_T
The boat might not have to wait for half an hour. If there are enough people, they will take us right away.
It takes about 10 minutes by boat to reach the resort's pier.
When I stepped onto the shore of the resort, I felt an incredible sense of peace and tranquility.
The area is surrounded by lush green trees.
People who like boutique style and lush greenery will surely love it.
This is a cute floor plan of the room.
After checking in, I walked into my room, which was a Standard Room. The rooms here are in the form of individual bungalows, which are quite far apart from each other. This gives a lot of privacy and peace and quiet.
The room decoration here will focus on a boutique style.
And the area around each room, wherever you look, there are trees everywhere.
Looking at it is refreshing, making it very suitable for relaxation.
In addition to single rooms, the Standard room category also offers double rooms.
There is a connecting balcony between the two rooms, making it ideal for families.
Let's take a look around the Resort.
The large building you see is the restaurant and Lobby.
There is also a small shop for your convenience.
The swimming pool is located behind the dining room.
Walk past the swimming pool a little, there will be a path down to the pier.
This riverside zone has been made into a balcony by the Resort for sitting and enjoying the view of the Kwai Noi River.
Looking across to the opposite side, you will see a mountain with a rock cliff blocking it.
Let's go down to the pier and sit and play.
This pier is a great place to relax and unwind.
The evening atmosphere is fantastic, with the flowing water and cool breeze.
After soaking up the riverside atmosphere in the late afternoon,
my girlfriend and I walked back to the resort's restaurant, where we had booked a buffet dinner for the evening.
The restaurant offers both buffet and a la carte options, and there's even live music to enjoy.
While waiting for the food, I walked around taking pictures.
On the second floor of this restaurant, there is also a spa and Thai massage room.
It can be said that there are a variety of services available, without having to go outside.
The upper area can look down to the hall below.
The riverside at night is also beautiful in its own way.
After walking for a while, it was time to watch the Mon dance.
The stage was beautifully decorated.
When the time came, there were actors dressed as Mon people who came out to dance beautifully.
Which was something strange and surprising, and fun as well.
After watching the Mon dance for about half an hour,
My girlfriend and I went back to our room to rest and prepare to wake up early in the morning.
Because we have a plan to wake up to see the fog floating on the water at the pier in the morning.
The accommodation told us that the atmosphere in the morning is really amazing.
The next day, my girlfriend and I woke up at 6 am. The weather was cool and comfortable.
So we went to sit and take pictures at the pier.
The atmosphere in the evening was good, but the atmosphere in the morning was so good that we didn't want to go anywhere.
Because the atmosphere is very good, looking at the surface of the water, there is a thin fog floating.
In the early morning of every day, there will be a flock of egrets flying close to the water surface to find food.
The caretaker told us that this flock of birds will fly back and forth both morning and evening.
As the sun began to rise, the air in this area gradually became hotter.
My girlfriend and I decided to escape and find something to eat :P
Breakfast was a typical buffet, which I must say was quite good.
The food here, whether breakfast or dinner, is very tasty, much better than many other places I've stayed.
After a hearty breakfast, we had a plan to go kayaking.
River Kwai Resotel offers a wide variety of activities,
including kayaking, hiking, sightseeing, and rafting.
You can check out the activities and inquire directly on the hotel's website.
https://www.riverkwairesotel.net/
However, I woke up with a stiff neck and sore arms from sleeping on the wrong pillow last night.
So I had to skip kayaking and opted for a boat ride to visit the Mon village instead.
To get to the Mon village, you need to take a boat to Jungle Rafts first.
It takes about 15 minutes by boat from the Resort, and if you want to go kayaking, you also need to take a boat to start from here.
In the early morning, I had the chance to see a beach with buffaloes walking around.
The morning view is very beautiful.
This Mon village has a Mon temple, a Mon school, and an elephant camp.
However, as we didn't have much time, we could only walk around a little.

The walkway is neatly constructed.

After a walk, it's time to take a boat back to the accommodation and pack our bags. Get ready to go back
For this trip, my girlfriend and I were very impressed with this Resort.
Both the atmosphere, service and activities
What I like most is the trees here. There are a lot of them and they are very shady.
I had the chance to breathe in the fresh air until I wanted to stay another night.
But now it's time to go back. I'll definitely come back again.
Leaving the accommodation, I have a plan to continue my trip to Mallika City.
Which is a replica city similar to the reign of King Rama V, which is the most popular place at the moment.
This city will simulate everything to be like the reign of King Rama V, including wearing Thai costumes.
Or even the speech of the staff who use the words of that time.
The entrance fee to Mallika City is 250 baht per person.
If you want to wear a Thai costume, there is a rental service available at the front entrance.
You can also enter the city without wearing a Thai costume, but you must have a city pass first.
Or if you have a Thai costume, you can wear it from home.
The rental price for the costume is 200 baht for women and 100 baht for men.
The currency used in this city is satang, which must be exchanged at the bank inside the city first.
There are many restaurants inside, especially delicious ancient Thai dessert shops.
If you have the opportunity to visit Kanchanaburi, don't forget to stop by and visit.
This is a blank paragraph with center alignment.
