"I want a motorcycle, to speed off to my destination, to set off in search of something new.
I want to try to escape, to break free from the chaos, to let my heart explore."

Let's greet our friends at Read Me with Sqweet Animal's song "Motorcycle". The song just goes so well with traveling by motorcycle, doesn't it? Welcome back, everyone! This is my second review. If you missed the first one, you can catch up here: https://th.readme.me/p/4327

This trip was a truly eye-opening experience. Unlike our usual car journeys, this time we opted for a different mode of transportation. And surprisingly, it felt amazing! We embraced the change of scenery, breathing in the fresh air and feeling closer to nature than ever before. The scent of the earth after the rain, the breathtaking sight of the sea of mist in the morning... these are the unseen treasures of Thailand that you wouldn't know about unless you experience them firsthand.

Two days and one night that we get to experience, what obstacles and what awaits us ahead, let's follow along and see!

  • DAY : 1

We set off on our journey on July 10-11 with "Ang Pao", don't be confused, it's not a red envelope, hahahahaha. But it's the HONDA CB500X, the name of my boyfriend's beloved motorcycle. When his heart called, his feet followed, and his hands itched to twist the throttle, so we didn't hesitate. We started from home at five in the morning.

After leaving the gas station, we rode for a long, long time.

This is the vacation time ~ ~ This song came on as the wind hit my face, the sky started to change color. It was so good.

The atmosphere is great, the weather is good, no rain, not many cars. It's like everything is on our side, maybe because it's Sunday morning. We're driving in a relaxed way, no rush, no hurry. Sitting comfortably in a Touring style. The pillion rider is free to take pictures of the scenery along the way. The sun is not too strong, there is a breeze all the way, so relaxing.

We stopped again at a gas station near Lopburi. We arrived at the gas station around 8 am. We rested, ate, and then continued our journey. Oh... this trip we were not alone because we found another couple to join us. They were our seniors at the university who rode a FORZA.

An army marches on its stomach. Let's have some sticky rice with pork for everyone.

After finishing my meal, I realized that eating sticky rice would definitely make me sleepy. And it was true. I dozed off for a bit, but then... my helmet bumped against my boyfriend's. He caught me sleeping again. Oops! >"< I'm so sorry, I really messed up. I was just too sleepy. 555555 Keep your eyes open, no matter how sleepy you are. Wake up! Wake up! Wake up! Or else there will be trouble.

Before we head up to Phu Thap Berk, we made our last stop of the day at a gas station to fill up the tank. It was already noon at this point. We decided on our next destination, which was to visit the Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park first, before heading down to Thap Berk in the late afternoon. We continued our journey, relying heavily on Google Maps as it was our first time visiting Phu Thap Berk.

Keep your partner informed about the road conditions on the way to Phu Thap Boek. The road is currently under construction and is not in good condition.

Following the signs, asking for directions from locals, and using the map, we finally made it to Phu Thap Boek!

We encountered a thick fog that hung in front of us, but as we rode in for a while, the rain started to drizzle lightly.

The road up is both steep and winding, so be careful and be mindful of the road as much as possible because the road is slippery. Oh… use the lowest gear to ride up too, for safety. We found a spot with a beautiful view, so we stopped by.

There were points where we had to take turns taking photos. The men had to straddle the bikes because it was a steep uphill climb and the bikes could roll down the hill. As a woman, I had to be strong and jump off the bike to take photos for him, and then we took turns taking photos for each other.

We drove up to **Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park**. We paid the entrance fee and within 5 minutes, the rain and wind came in full force. They said the weather was good, so what's this? 55555555 We were soaked to the bone. We drove a long way and couldn't find any shelter from the rain. I don't know how many kilometers we drove, but it was far enough that we found shelter from the rain. It was like heaven. There were a lot of people standing there sheltering from the rain. I guess they had just finished their tour inside and were caught in the rain on their way out. We parked the car and jumped out as fast as we could. We were as wet as a drowned puppy. We looked terrible. The rain was getting heavier and heavier.

It's impossible to predict when the rain will stop. This kind of rain always makes me hungry. Luckily, my partner bought some Five Star fried chicken at the gas station before we left. We each snatched a piece to satisfy our hunger pangs.

And then... the sky stopped teasing us, but we were already hurt and had to remember. We put on our raincoats again to prevent the enemy from attacking. Haha, we continued riding into the park and stopped at the School of Politics and Military Affairs, where there were many red and yellow maple leaves.

It doesn't feel like a school at all, more like a hobbit house. The condition is of many small wooden houses, dilapidated and decaying over time. There is moss covering the ground, the roof of the house and the rocks.

After taking photos for a while, we walked out at 4 pm. We wasted time getting caught in the rain. We couldn't continue our trip much longer, so we decided to check in to our accommodation at Phu Thap Boek. We had Boy Fang, a couple who travels around Thailand, the Liaem Travel Page book our accommodation for us. We drove down to meet them!

Riding out of Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park, I circled around looking for accommodation in Phu Thap Boek. I came across a beautiful view, I couldn't resist!

The phone had no signal, making it very difficult to contact each other. The last call they made to each other was when Boy said that their accommodation was near the highest temperature measurement point. Since it was their first time there, they ended up riding far away to a village on the mountain. As they drove in, the villagers looked at them with surprise (You guys are lost, don't you know?). Even the cows turned to look at them with pity. Look at their faces 555555555555

We met someone who waved and called out to us. They told us to go back the way we came. Oh my goodness... We rode back around.

Until we found the temperature measuring point and our accommodation was nearby. Tonight, we entrusted our lives to "Rim Pha Phu Thap Boek".

**

It was almost 5:30 pm when we arrived. Boy had booked three bungalows, each of which could accommodate only two people. They also had a veranda where we could sit and enjoy the breeze.

The room is very small and narrow, really only suitable for sleeping. As soon as you open the door, you are greeted by the bed. The room has a wall-mounted fan, a bed, a TV, and a bathroom. There is also a local-style water heater. It uses a gas stove to heat the water, and when you turn it on, you need to turn on the switch under the machine first. The water temperature will be displayed, and then you can use it.

Before we all go our separate ways to shower and change clothes, let's take a group photo. There are a total of 6 members right now.

The spot where we took the photo is the view right in front of our accommodation, but we only saw the side because our room wasn't right on the edge. If you want to see it, you have to come and take a look!

Then the rain started to fall again, so we ran back to our room. When we came out again at around 7pm, it was already dark and there was no more rain, but the wind was very strong and cold. We walked with trembling legs and numb faces, hugging each other as we looked for a place to eat. Our main goal was to find a place with a good deal on pork barbecue. We searched and searched... and finally found it! It was a restaurant at a guesthouse (we can't remember the name), and we were the only customers. The atmosphere was like eating at home.

The large-sized barbecue set costs 500 baht per set and includes a healthy vegetable set with cabbage, Chinese cabbage, and morning glory, followed by 1 kilogram of marinated pork, glass noodles, egg tofu, golden needle mushrooms, pork sausage, 1 bottle of drinking water, and 1 bottle of dipping sauce. The highlight is the dipping sauce, which is really spicy and delicious. Preeka Ruay brand, read it carefully 55555. I just found out later that it's an OTOP product from here.

The wind blows strong at intervals, making the fire burn fiercely. There are no embers at all.

We had a great time grilling and before we knew it, everything was gone. We were really full and satisfied with this meal.

We arrived back at our accommodation around 10 pm. After showering, brushing our teeth, and organizing our belongings, it was time for bed. We got a good night's sleep.

  • DAY : 2

We agreed to wake up at 5:30 AM to watch the sea of fog. I woke up exactly at 5:00 AM when the alarm clock went off, but by the time we were ready and went out to watch, it was almost 6:00 AM.

We stood and watched the sea of fog at the edge of the cliff, a popular spot at the moment. We started to see some sea fog at this time, the sky was almost clear. The work is very good, I must say.

You have to come up here at least once. During the rainy season, there's a chance to see a sea of fog like this. We took a lot of photos!

Capture every angle, fill up the memory, it's not often you see something this good.

Accumulating "memories" along the way.

We've been here for over an hour, I think. If you walk across to the other side, you'll find the legendary cabbage field with the stacked jars 555555 But unfortunately, they've already cut the cabbage and sold it, so the picture turned out like this !!!!!

There are still some parts left that haven't been cut off. It looks fresh and crispy.

It's time to find some food. It's already 7:30 am. We walked around looking for a restaurant. This restaurant is a little further away from our accommodation. It's a simple-looking rice shop, but the taste and quantity are extraordinary. We chose the best view of the shop. Just kidding !!!! There were no people, so we got this corner. We can see the beautiful view and feel good.

The food was made to order from their menu. We waited a while, feeling hungry, because the restaurant makes all the food for a table at once, so everyone gets their food at the same time. 55555 It's good that way, though, because no one has to watch anyone else eat their food.

Here it is....the first dish, Stir-fried Cabbage with Fish Sauce. When you're in the area, you have to order this. It's famous, fresh, crispy, and delicious.

Then other dishes followed, the amount of food was plentiful and the taste was really good in every dish. I secretly tried some and it was delicious. We were busy eating for quite a while.

**Food prices: Single dish with rice is 80 baht, rice with curry is 50 baht, add an egg for 10 baht**

After paying for everything, we walked back to our accommodation, packed our things, and stuffed our clothes into boxes. We had to continue our journey by motorbike, haha.

Before we part ways, let's take a thrilling group photo!

It was past 10 am when I left the accommodation. I drove down the road and there wasn't a single ray of sunshine.

The fog was very thick. Riding a motorcycle down from Phu Thap Boek, I had to go slowly, turn on the lights, and honk the horn at intervals. It was a bit scary, as I couldn't see anything in front of me. We were just hoping for the best.

After descending from Phu Thap Boek, we headed to the GB Strawberry Farm in Khao Kho, Phet Dam Village. The journey took quite some time, with rain falling intermittently throughout the way, which really reduced our driving ability. Along the route to Khao Kho, there were some spots with beautiful views, so we stopped to take some photos for the guys.

Riding into Khao Kho, I saw a large wind turbine from afar. That's the landmark of GB Strawberry Farm. I was about to reach it when a large rain cloud covered the wind turbine. **It's definitely coming, it's going to be heavy, it's going to be a mess.** If I force myself to drive to that point and there is no shelter from the rain, I will have to take a picture with the wind turbine from afar instead. So sad T^T

We managed to drive down to avoid the rain and headed to Phra That Pha Son Kaew Temple. Anyone visiting Phetchabun should stop by to admire the beauty of this religious site built amidst nature. Surrounded by valleys, it features a stupa adorned with colorful tiles. The atmosphere is serene as the temple also serves as a meditation retreat. Visitors are asked to refrain from making noise, and signs are posted throughout the area as a reminder.

After admiring the beauty for a while, we rode up to a coffee shop that everyone knows, PINO LATTE, just a short distance from Wat Pha Sorn Kaew. The view is truly stunning, surrounded by mountains and a cool, refreshing breeze.

There are many photo spots. The shop is large and spacious. When I went, some parts of the shop were being renovated and expanded.

I don't know how many tables there are in the whole restaurant, but the table we sat at was number 88. We were really unlucky because we went there when the restaurant had a power outage. So we could only order from the menu that didn't include smoothies. We had it with two light cakes that were special because it was the birthday of the person we were with. So we planned a little surprise with her boyfriend. I got up and ordered at the counter myself, leaving the guys sitting there clueless. 5555555

After ordering, I walked over to the table and sat down, pretending to wait. After a while, the waiter brought it to me.

Happy birthday to you, hey, hey, ha ha ha ha ha! Success!!!!!

Finish the dessert in front of you.

Ready to sit back, relax, and enjoy the atmosphere for a while.

It's time to take a break and move on. Next stop Go Home !!!!!!

It was almost 5 pm when we left PINO LATTE. The sun was starting to come out, which was a good sign for our journey home. We probably wouldn't encounter any rain on our way back.

Yes, indeed... We were very lucky not to encounter any rain on our way back to Bangkok. The weather was clear and the sky was bright and open. We drove back for a long time, stopping to rest, refuel, wash our faces, and drink energy drinks to get rid of our fatigue. Once we were refreshed, we continued our journey.

We arrived at Wang Noi around 9:00 PM and decided to grab a bite to eat before heading back. At this hour, there weren't many roadside restaurants open, so we opted for the only option available: a gas station. Luckily, there was a KFC there, so we each ordered a meal to satisfy our hunger. After filling our bellies, we went our separate ways and headed home.

Hitting the road for a long drive home without any stops. The two-day journey covers a little over a thousand kilometers.

The trip ended happily. This trip had it all: fog, rain, cold wind, and sunshine. Even though it was my first time riding a motorcycle for a thousand kilometers, instead of comfortably sitting in a car, I had to sit on a hard, bumpy seat. No matter how sleepy I was, I had to endure it. In return, I experienced an atmosphere that car passengers would never get to feel. Although the weather might have been an obstacle, overall, we encountered less rain than good weather. It might seem dangerous to entrust your life to two wheels, but if we are careful and mindful at all times, accidents won't happen. If we're tired, we just take a break. If we have the energy, we keep going. Think of it as opening up to a new world, a new way of traveling, and new friendships with fellow travelers.

"This is happiness on two wheels."

"Every time we go out, there's always something good waiting for us ahead. Let's go out, let's open up new experiences, let's see it with our own eyes."
