A warm welcome to the summer season (or is it?) In this hot weather, everyone must want to go to the sea, right? But we have limited time, so we will take you on a 2-day, 1-night trip to Ko Sichang. We saw many people who had been there before and got beautiful pictures back, so we had to experience that feeling for ourselves.

Let's go on a trip..........

Our journey began at the Victory Monument. We chose the "Muang Tha Win" van service, which is located on the corner of Khao Phaya Thai Road, opposite 7-Eleven (on the way to Century). We intended to catch the first van at 5:30 AM, but when we arrived at the queue at 5:20 AM,

However, it seemed that the first ferry was full and had already left, so we had to wait for the second ferry, which departed from the pier at 5:40 AM. Our van arrived at the pier on Ko Loi at 7:10 AM, which was still not in time for the first ferry. As a result, we had to wait for the 8:00 AM ferry. Okay, if we're going to be late anyway, let's just grab something to eat. I'm hungry anyway.

It's time for the boat to leave. We intend to sit on the lower deck of the boat (why would you want to sit below when the view is so much better above?). Because we're going to sit at the front of the boat, we won't have to fight for a spot on the upper deck with anyone else. No one will be stealing our view.

As we were taking photos at the front of the boat, the boatman asked us if we had a motorbike yet. If not, his girlfriend had a motorbike for rent. We agreed, as we would have to rent one on the island anyway. At 8.50 am, our boat arrived at Koh Sichang and the boatman took us to pick up the motorbike from his girlfriend. However, I recommend checking the fuel level first, as he only filled it halfway and we almost ran out. Check it before you take the bike (it might be because we rode around the island many times, so it might not be enough for everyone).

As soon as we arrived at the shore, we headed straight to the resort to drop off our belongings, as we had a lot of luggage.

And from now on, we will start our journey according to the plan we have set. Let's start our journey according to the written trip...

Spot 1: The grassy field in front of the resort. Some people might overlook it because it's just a field of grass, but for us, it's not just an ordinary field of dry grass. This is a top-notch view, you know? (I'm not brave enough to show my face on this trip, so let's just blur it out, okay?)

Point 2: Phra Chulachomklao Fort Here we will take you to visit Ang Sila Bridge, the old pagoda, Wat Atsadang Nimit, Khao Noi viewpoint and the statue of King Rama V. Everyone who comes to visit Ko Sichang must stop by here because it is the location of the Ang Sila Bridge that everyone wants to see. Once we enter, we have to walk all the way to the Khao Noi viewpoint, but the weather and heat in April almost made us feel bad.

Point 3: It's time to rest and recharge, so we'll stop by a restaurant to eat and relax for a bit. In this kind of weather, and with this level of exhaustion, if we don't rest, we'll definitely end up hospitalized on Ko Sichang Island.

**Point 4: Khao Yai Shrine Since we have arrived at Koh Sichang, we must pay our respects to the sacred things on the island. That is the Khao Yai Shrine, which is the sacred place that the people on the island respect and all tourists who come to this island must stop by to pay their respects. And it is a viewpoint that overlooks the houses of the people on the island, which is one of the most beautiful spots.**

**Point 5: Phra Buddha Bat Footprint. If you have a motorbike, you can ride up to the top, but the road is quite steep. However, if you don't have a vehicle, the locals say you can walk up from the entrance where you pay respects to Chao Pho Khao Yai. They say it's about 300 steps to the top. From the Phra Buddha Bat Footprint, there is a path you can take to the highest viewpoint on Koh Sichang.**

Point 6: Khao Khad Viewpoint - From our research, this point is considered one of the most beautiful sunset spots on the island.

Point 7: Stone inscription, located in the pavilion next to Sichang School. We asked for directions from an old lady selling water at Khao Khad. She said, "Oh, young man, you're the first person in months to ask about this." (Really?) We think they should make a better storage place for it so that it can be a tourist attraction that people can visit.

Point 8: Atsadang Bridge On the way back, we stopped by Atsadang Bridge to take some photos. In the evening, there were a lot of people playing in the water around here. At first, I read that you could only play at Tham Phang Beach, didn't you?

**Point 9: Tham Phang Beach, or its new name "Ao Atsadang", is the most popular swimming spot on the island. It's also a beautiful spot to watch the sunset. There are wild boars on the way to the beach, and they are especially abundant near the garbage dump.**

Point 10: Resort It's getting dark, let's go back to the resort for dinner and stargazing.

Start Day 2

This morning we intended to wake up to watch the sunrise, but I guess we slept too deeply and woke up at 7 am instead. So we had to rush out of our accommodation in case we could catch the sunrise.

That's all I could capture.

And then we rode our bikes to take pictures of the morning on the sandy beach at Tham Phang Beach (I can only post this picture, the rest are just pictures of people). And then we rode our bikes around the island to see the morning life of the people on the island.

As the morning wore on and our stomachs began to rumble, we headed back to the resort for breakfast. After that, we decided to embark on a journey to the love proclamation cliff and the star balcony cave.

Time's up, so we have to get ready to shower, pack our things and head back to shore. Goodbye, Koh Si Chang... see you again!

As we were about to reach the pier, we decided to call the van service to check their schedule. When we called, they said the next van was at 3 pm, but it was only 1 pm then. We still needed to return to our province, so we asked a tuk-tuk driver nearby, as recommended by a friend. He charged us 60 baht for the ride and dropped us off at our destination, as he also received a commission from the van service. We were able to catch the 2 pm van.
