"Ayutthaya, our old city, our hearts yearn to tell each other. Ayutthaya, in the past, was still the golden city of our Thai brothers and sisters." This is just a few lines from the song "Ayutthaya, the Old City," which I still remember well, especially when I was a child. I would hear this song very often. However, I thought of this song again when I found myself standing at Bang Pa-In Royal Palace, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, the tourist destination closest to Bangkok. It only takes a short drive to reach the destination.

"Bang Pa-In Royal Palace" is a place that everyone must know and have visited. There is no need to explain the history of this palace. On the day I visited the old capital, I witnessed the beauty of the palace, which was undergoing renovation and repair of many places, including the Aisawan Thiphya-Asana Throne Hall. However, this did not diminish the beauty of this place in any way.

I must admit that my visit to the ancient capital and its palaces has not disappointed me in the least. I have been able to experience the magnificent beauty of various contemporary art forms. If anyone has the opportunity or wants to take a day trip near Bangkok, this place is the best and most interesting option.
