When the younger ones call, we, as their elders, also yearn for it. When everything is right, why hesitate? Just tell me about this trip, a smile is in my blood.

All set, we planned a trip to Hong Kong and Macau. We traveled from February 24th to 28th. We booked through expedia.com for 67xx per person, including airfare and accommodation. However, due to the inconvenient return time, we only had two full days to explore.

This is our second trip to Hong Kong, but the first time we went with a tour group. This time, we're taking our younger siblings and planning the trip ourselves. Since they all have new passports, we're excited to see how they handle immigration in Hong Kong. With our itinerary set, let's begin our adventure!

We are flying with Hong Kong Airlines. We love it!

The food on the plane looks delicious, but I'm already feeling a bit queasy.

We have arrived at Chek Lap Kok Airport.

Due to the late arrival of the flight, it was almost midnight, so we had to hurry because we were quite sleepy. Everyone had already worked and then continued to travel.

Hong Kong International Airport has two terminals. Passengers need to walk and take escalators to transfer to the train to the other terminal.

After successfully passing through immigration and collecting our luggage, we immediately purchased an Octopus card.

Ticket purchase points are easy to find, so don't worry. We bought 200 hkd, a 50 hkd card deposit, and topped up another 150 hkd.

Our accommodation is located near Tsim Sha Tsui. We need to take the N21 bus because it is late at night. We are staying at Vincent Hill Guest House, which is located in the Mirado Building.

You can take bus number 13 or 14 and walk a short distance to reach your destination.

Upon arriving at the guesthouse, we were instructed to call the host, who would then come and unlock our room. As it was our first time staying at a guesthouse, we stood confused in front of the room for quite some time, unsure of what to do. We decided to call the host, and fortunately, they spoke some English. After waiting for approximately 15 minutes, they arrived and opened the room for us.

This is the access code for our accommodation and room. Before opening the room, I was worried about whether the accommodation would be okay, because the outside condition was not so good.

Upon entering the guest house, I was immediately struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere.

The door to the room opens to reveal a clean and well-maintained space. Inside, there are three beds: two large and one small. Everyone is pleased with the arrangement, which brings a sense of comfort and satisfaction.

The exterior of the building is not in good condition, but the interior is very good.

The next morning, we woke up early as planned to visit Koh Mak. We had to grab a bite to eat before heading to the pier.

We chose this restaurant because it has many positive reviews and is conveniently located near our accommodation.

After a satisfying meal, we headed towards the harbor.

We have chosen this service.

And then we got the tickets.

While waiting to board, I stopped by the restroom. In front of the restroom, there was a charging station available. This was a great convenience.

It's time, I'm so excited!

Come aboard, our ship is waiting.

The journey to Macau takes approximately 1 hour. Travel within Macau is free on the Shutter Bus, with no additional costs. The only expenses incurred were for snacks and meals.

Macau's atmosphere

Since 2007, Macau, often referred to as the "Las Vegas of the East," has established itself as a global leader in the gambling industry. The city's primary source of revenue is casinos, attracting a significant number of tourists seeking to try their luck.

The Venetian Macao seamlessly blends Chinese and European civilizations, creating a stunning and harmonious environment.

Excitement surged through me as I witnessed a casino for the first time. The image may be blurry due to my trembling hands.

Stepping inside, one is immediately struck by the beautiful decor and the pervasive fragrance that fills the building, creating a truly delightful experience.

The next stop is Galaxy Macau.

We don't have many pictures of this place.

Next, proceed to Senado Square.

I'm starting to feel hungry after a short walk. Let's find something to eat.

This dish is highly recommended by the restaurant. The table next to us ordered it, and it looked amazing. We won't spoil the surprise, but we encourage you to try it yourself and let us know what you think!

The next destination is the ruins of an old church.

The roadside is lined with vendors selling a wide variety of processed pork and beef products. Flavors abound, and every vendor offers free samples. Every single shop provides complimentary tastings.

Egg tarts in Macau are also famous.

I saw it. The ruins of the old church are beautiful, as expected. There were a lot of people there.

We arrived here just in time for the cool evening air.

Students are leaving school.

After enjoying the atmosphere of Macau, we walked to the bus stop to return to the pier. We need to take the free shuttle bus at the basement level of the Grand Lisboa Hotel. The bus departs every 15 minutes.

The total cost of our Macau trip was less than 2,000 baht, including only transportation and food expenses.
