Let's clarify the term "small budget" first.
This trip cost us a total of 3,500 baht for food and sightseeing, excluding airfare and accommodation.
This depends on individual preferences and luck (we stayed at the RELC International Hotel, which is about a 15-minute walk from Orchard Station, but the price is quite high for backpackers + the bathroom doesn't have a bidet, so I don't recommend it).
Let's just say that 3,500 baht is enough to walk around and take pictures of trendy places all over the city and drink coffee at beautiful cafes until your eyes are wide open.
I would like to add my voice to confirm that 'Singapore is easy to travel to, you can travel on your own, and it's on a small budget'. If you are well prepared, follow this...
Singapore Trip Tips
Purchase a SIM Card at the Airport
Upon exiting the baggage claim area, locate the information desk/counter. Two banks are situated beside the counter, diagonally opposite the information desk. These banks sell SIM cards offering unlimited internet access for 5 days at a cost of 15-18 SGD (approximately 25.60 THB per SGD). If you require a SIM card for calls to Thailand, the price is 32 SGD.

2. Use the Singapore Tourist Pass for 3 days at a price of 30 SGD (1 day 20 SGD, 2 days 26 SGD + if you return the card, you will get 10 SGD back). You can use all types of public transportation in Singapore without any restrictions. You can buy it at Changi Airport station.
3. Save the train map image on your phone / Carry a map distributed at train stations or airports, life will be much easier. Here it is…
4. Delicious and affordable food can be found at food courts and food centers in various districts, such as Chinatown and Little India.
5. Don't forget to bring an adapter and a three-pin plug, which are essential.
6. Sunglasses, hats, and sunscreen are essential, as Singapore's heat is comparable to ours.
Let's go!
From Changi Airport, we took the train to Tiong Bahru Station. Our first goal was to explore the Tiong Bahru / cafe district (similar to Ari / Ekkamai) and have the best possible experience.
Following Google Maps from Tiong Bahru Station, the first shop can be found within a 10-minute walk.
The white building, an open-air shop visible from afar, is none other than the Tiong Bahru Club.
Let's explore the surroundings a bit.
This restaurant's decor is a fusion of Chinese, Indian, and Western styles.
The venue operates as a café during the day and transforms into a bar at night.
It offers a wide selection of beverages, snacks, and meals, ensuring a satisfying experience.
Did you start drinking beer early in the day, brother?
Arriving at the airport at noon, I reached the restaurant in the early afternoon.
I'm starving now. Let's order some real food.
Seeing a menu item written in seafood followed by a foreign language, I ordered it.
It turned out to be a steamed fish curry in banana leaf parcels.
The price of the steamed fish set includes VAT at 15 SGD.
The taste is similar to deep-fried catfish cake, but not as salty. The side dish appears to be a papaya salad, but it is not.
A sour mango with chopped carrots placed on top.
However, many people say that the tea at this shop is delicious. I will come back next time to try it again.
Anyone interested can come. The shop is open all the time. This is the number +65 6438 0168. This is the page https://www.facebook.com/thesingapuraclub/
The next stop is 'Tiong Bahru Bakery', just a short walk from the previous shop.
The restaurant is not very large, but the space is well-organized and can accommodate a large number of people.
The primary focus is on selling baked goods and sweet treats, with a limited selection of beverages available.
The highlight of the restaurant, the Lemon Tart, is priced at SGD 6.50. This is the best Lemon Tart I have ever had. The base is a finely crushed cookie, while the top is soft like pudding, yet retains the tartness. I would like to add the hashtags #thebest #musttry.
The shop is open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Sunday to Thursday, and from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. You can contact them at +65 6220 3430 or visit their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/tiongbahrubakery/. If you are unable to visit this branch, you can find other branches on their website at http://www.tiongbahrubakery.com/.
Savory dishes are done, sweet treats are finished, next it must be coffee...
We opted to purchase coffee at the establishment known as "PS. Café."
The restaurant has an excellent ambiance. The walls are adorned with black tiles, and the entire space is decorated with beer and wine bottles.
Photography is not permitted inside, only outside.
I took a picture while waiting in line, but then they told me to stop, haha.
Curious about how beautiful the shop is? Come see for yourself. ;)
We ordered an iced mocha for 6 SGD, and it was quite delicious. It met the international standard for mochas.
PS. Café: A Charming Eatery in Tiong Bahru
PS. Café, a delightful eatery nestled in the heart of Tiong Bahru, welcomes guests daily from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. For those seeking directions, fret not, simply dial +65 9226 708 for assistance.
To delve deeper into the café's offerings, explore their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/ps.petit/ or their official website at http://www.pscafe.com/pscafe-petit-at-tiong-bahru/.
Not yet... It's not over yet.
Tiong Bahru still has much to make us smile.
Regardless of...
Or could it be…
And finally, we arrive at the last shop in this area... 'Book Actually'.
It is a charming bookstore that sells Western books and books from local Singaporean publishers.
The store is open from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Here is the contact number: +65 6222 9195. Here are the links to their Facebook page and website: https://www.facebook.com/BooksActually/, http://www.booksactuallyshop.com/
After leaving Tiong Bahru, we took the train to Tanjong Pagar station.
Here, you can take photos of colorful buildings that give you the feel of Phuket's old town, just like our own.
From the train station, take exit B and walk past the Red Dot Museum.
Then cross the road and you will find a budget-friendly food court called 'Maxwell Food Centre'.
(The building is beautiful. It's a pity I came alone and no one is here to take pictures for me. T_T)
Given the low foot traffic, I decided to try the famous Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice.
We ordered a skinless Hainanese chicken rice, size S, for 3.5 SGD. It's hard to find rice at this price! 55555
The food is delicious. The rice is different from what we have at home, I can't quite describe it. The chicken is tender, and the dipping sauce is salty and sticky, just the way I like it.
I only ate enough to get a taste. I need to hurry up and take pictures of the building. I'm running out of time. I don't want to miss tonight's highlight (I'll keep it a secret for now, haha).
Next stop, Marina Bay Sands. Take the MRT to Bayfront Station, exit B, and follow the signs. Besides strolling through the beautiful mall and soaking up the cool evening vibes, there's a stunning water show waiting for us tonight. The show starts around 7 pm, so let's grab some dinner first (again?).
Is there anything else I can help you with?
This is a magical 6.5 SGD dumpling soup, which is approximately 168 Thai baht.
Oh no! The show is about to start! Find your seats quickly!
It is quite beautiful and magnificent.
However, these are just a few photos. If you'd like to see a video, please visit https://www.facebook.com/BlissOutThere/.
It was live when I watched it.
We're not heading back just yet. Let's continue to the Supertrees zone at Gardens by the Bay. It's a short walk and connects to the mall.
There are signs to guide you, or you can ask the staff for help.
The show will be on air from 19:45 to 20:45.
This is a large steel tree where people like to take hipster photos during the day.
At night, it would flash in time with the music, as if it were alive.
The sight of everyone lying down on the floor to watch the dancing lights was incredibly relaxing.

Okay, here is the translation of the sentence:
"That's enough for the first day. Otherwise, the draft will collapse."
Return to your accommodation to rest and recharge, and we'll continue tomorrow. : )

After breakfast at the hotel on the second day, we set off at 9:30 am, as our schedule for the day was very tight.
Tighter than the skirt we're wearing (not).
Our first stop today is Little India.
Many people may not know that in addition to selling cheap vegetables, fruits, clothes, and household items,
This area also has brightly colored buildings that are just as eye-catching.
The photographers clicked their shutters until their hands were numb.
There are two main streets lined with colorful buildings: 'Buffalo Street and Dunlop Street'. Let's explore!
Translation:
Translation:
I've crossed the road!
Extremely enjoyable
Next to the Indian quarter is the Chinese quarter... China Town, of course.
Exit A from China Town Station leads directly to the shopping street.
Bargain-priced souvenirs and everyday items are available for purchase. Shopaholics, rejoice! If you're more interested in exploring, follow us.
The first stop in the area is the Sri Mariamman Temple.
Translation:
No photography allowed again, only photos from outside.
This is 'Smith Street'. Tourists love to eat and drink here. There are a variety of restaurants.
Before we continue our hip exploration, let's stop by the 'Tooth Relic Buddha Temple' to pay our respects.
The Jade Buddha Temple is a large Chinese temple with a small Buddhist museum for visitors to explore.
The interior is stunning. Don't miss it if you're visiting Singapore.
Feeling tired after a long walk, I decided to recharge with a refreshing glass of sugarcane juice for 1.70 SGD.
From China Town, we took the MRT to Bugis Station.
The highlight of Bugis is the 'Haji Lane' district, which boasts both stylish cafes and impressive street art.
However, when we arrived, it was raining, so we decided to kill some time before the rain stopped and then continue walking.
Translation:
While waiting for the rain to stop, we took photos of the colorful spiral staircase at Bugis Village, a charming little alleyway.
Translation:
Translation:
The rain has stopped, and we can continue our dreams. 555555
The 'Haji Lane' is a 5-minute walk from the station.
This restaurant is owned by the same people as Tiong Bahru Club, which we visited yesterday. It's just as beautiful!
Engrossed in taking photos, we almost missed the restaurant we were aiming for. (We nearly passed it!)
The Pantry in Shop Wonderland: A Culinary Gem
"The Pantry in Shop Wonderland" stands out as our favorite café during this trip.
The store is decorated in a yellow, cream, and pink color scheme, with cute fabric scraps hanging from the ceiling. It's sure to be a hit with the ladies.
The cuteness doesn't stop there, because the second floor is also a flower arranging workshop. Sigh, so blissful.
After capturing every nook and cranny of the cafe, it was time to order a drink. I finally acknowledged the barista who had been patiently waiting for my decision.
We ordered the Lychee & Grape Mint Fizz for 8.50 SGD. It was fragrant, delicious, and refreshing. It was expensive, but worth it for the atmosphere.
The Pantry is open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Contact information, Facebook page, and website are provided below: +65 6299 5848, https://www.facebook.com/wonderlandfordetailedplanners, http://www.shop-wonderland.com/pages/the-pantry
Stuck in this shop for hours, we finally got ourselves out. 5555
The next stop is 'The Helix Bridge', a bridge located in Marina Bay.
Therefore, take the MRT to Bayfront Station as usual.
Translation:
This is a paragraph with no content.
This bridge is designed based on the concept of human DNA.
During the day, it meanders coolly like this, but at night, lights appear in the shape of the letters C, G, A, and T.
This is a DNA component abbreviation.
Translation:
The last stop of the day is the Marina Barrage, a floating garden with a view of the chic city of Singapore.
Before heading to the garden, let's grab a bite at the food court along the way. It's located within Gardens by the Bay, offering affordable options with generous portions, ranging from 5 to 10 SGD per dish.
From Marina Bay Sands, you can either walk or take a bus. If you walk, it will take about 20 minutes along the bay. If you take a bus, you need to wait at bus stop B03, which is located on the street before Marina Bay Sands. Take bus number 400, which accepts the Singapore Tourist Pass.
It's 5 pm and the sun is still shining brightly.
Translation:
The rain has stopped, you can go up.
Wow!

Relaxing in the cool breeze, watching people having picnics, taking graduation photos, and flying kites.
A perfect ending to the second day.
Translation:
Due to the heavy physical exertion over the past two days,
On our last day, we decided to sleep in and start our day slowly, embracing the slow life of a cafe enthusiast.
Our first stop today is 'Ah Teng's Bakery', located in the Raffles Hotel, just a 5-minute walk from City Hall Station.
Translation:
Note: The original text is empty, so the translation is also empty.
The restaurant boasts a unique blend of Chinese and Western decor, catering to the tastes of both local and international patrons.
The bakery's main attraction is its daily fresh-baked goods, which are not only fragrant but also visually appealing, making it difficult to choose just one.
We ordered the Breakfast Set for 12 SGD. It comes with a choice of muffin, croissant, or Danish pastry, plus tea or coffee, and a juice. We chose the blueberry muffin and coffee. The muffin was excellent, soft and not too crumbly, with large blueberries. The coffee was the shop's own blend and was good, it definitely woke us up! However, if you like your coffee sweet, you might not like this one as it's not sweet at all.
For those interested, the shop is open daily from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Contact number: +65 6412 1816. For more information, please visit: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Ah-Tengs-Bakery-Raffles-Hotel/450454421639296, http://www.raffles.com/singapore/dining/ah-tengs-bakery/
The next shop is quite far away. Take the MRT for 6 stations and get off at Toa Payoh. Then walk for another 15-20 minutes.
Despite wandering around the stadium for a long time, lost because we trusted Google Maps (which said we could cut through the stadium, but the passage was actually closed), we finally arrived at 'Wheeler's Yard'.
Translation:
Wheeler's Yard: A Unique Cycling Hub
Wheeler's Yard stands out as a unique destination, seamlessly blending a bicycle equipment store with a cozy café. The café area resembles a charming greenhouse, adorned with bicycles, helmets, and various cycling paraphernalia, creating an ambiance rarely found elsewhere. This fusion of retail and relaxation makes Wheeler's Yard an ideal spot for cycling enthusiasts and casual visitors alike.
Translation:
The Honey Melon Soda we ordered, priced at 7.90 SGD, had a pleasant melon aroma and came with chewy, round jelly balls. However, the honey flavor and scent were barely noticeable.
Given the difficulty of getting to the restaurant, it is only natural to want to sit there for a long, long time.
To unwind, we ordered another snack: oven-baked mixed mushrooms with butter. It was delicious and easy to eat, but I couldn't finish it all because it was a lot. 55555 The small cup was surprisingly full. It cost 6.90 SGD.
This restaurant is worth the long walk. Highly recommended! Closed on Mondays. Open from 10:30 AM to 10:00 PM on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Closes at 11:00 PM on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Phone number: +65 6254 9128. Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/wheelersyard. Website: http://www.wheelersyard.com/.
From Toa Payoh, we took the train to Dhoby Ghaut Station and walked for another 6-8 minutes.
The final cafe (number 7) of this trip awaits.
'Curious Palette' is a small cafe decorated in white, brown, and green tones.
The shop is decorated with ornamental plants, making it lively. We went on Saturday, and it was quite crowded.
The use of mirrors in this design creates an illusion of spaciousness.
This green tea latte from this shop has a strong milk flavor and is not very sweet. However, the green tea aroma is very strong. <3 It costs 7.50 SGD.
The last shop, let's order two menus.
Another cup is Chai tea, which is a milk tea with spices and cinnamon.
I've never had this menu before, and I'm really hooked on its taste! The smell of cinnamon from the first sip to the last drop 55555555. It's a pleasure for 6.50 SGD.
This restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and is open from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM. However, on Fridays and Saturdays, it closes at midnight.

The final mission of this trip is to have dinner at Food Republic in Wisma Atria and stroll along Orchard Road.
I can't believe it's already been three days.
Having visited Singapore with my family twice, I believe the country offers little beyond landmark attractions.
This necessitates a shift in perspective and a commitment to finding time for a return visit.
There are still many interesting places to visit and cool cafes to explore.
I hope this review will be helpful for those who are looking for information about traveling to Singapore.
