Of course, I chose this route: Surat Thani - Phang Nga. I'll be riding my motorcycle and bringing two cameras (one digital and one DSLR).

After leaving Khao Lak at around 12:00 p.m., I decided to return to Surat Thani. However, I changed my route to go through Thap Put district instead, as it was a shorter distance than returning the way I came.
The approximate distance is 191 km.

To reach Thap Put district from Surat Thani, one must ascend a mountain called "Khao Nang Hong." This mountain separates Mueang district from Thap Put district. Most people use it as a shortcut to Takua Pa district. The overall route is very shady, and the forests on both sides are still very lush, as shown in the picture above. However, people tend not to use it at night due to the dangerous winding roads and various historical events.
Upon reaching the summit, you will encounter a scenic viewpoint.
