A trip where we weren't left hanging. We planned it just a few days beforehand with friends we'd been talking to on Facebook for a long time, but had never actually gone on a trip with before.

This is our first time meeting.

Our friend named Ko, a half-land, half-water human, enjoys living in the forest and preying on birds at night.

Ko shared a picture of the Saptakund Waterfall and invited us to visit it in his post. We thought we would just go for a walk at Saptakund, but when we actually talked about it,

Let's go to sleep at Chong Khad. Then on Sunday morning, let's go hiking up Krok I-Dork Waterfall together. Wow, we definitely have to go!

Jack wanted to invite his friends who enjoy hiking to join him. He thought of two people, but neither of them were available. The first person was donating supplies, and the second person was cleaning up the beach.

DAY 1: Meeting Point - Hello, new friends! Enjoy the morning mist at Chet Khot.

Jack will not include many travel details and will provide a brief summary of the seven bends. Please hurry.

Let's go! Jack drove from Bangkok and arrived at Chet Khot in the late afternoon. Goh drove from Pak Chong with a younger sibling named Si.

Okay, everyone is here. Let's find a place to pitch our tents. We were planning to go hiking to the seven bends waterfall, but we're too late. We left too late.

The prime location by the river was teeming with tents. This riverside zone was a prime spot, so we opted for the upper zone.

Seeking shelter under the trees, we avoid the flowing water, for the sky suggests we won't escape the rain.

With the tent set up, there was no time to waste. We immediately prepared a meal, skipping the usual steps.

Wow, this guy is a real hunter! She has level 10 wilderness survival skills and can even cook amazing rice. 😂

Jack used his negotiation skills to secure gas from a nearby tent, while Nongsai used her skills to light the charcoal stove.

After calling everyone, no one went to the riverside with us. This morning, everyone was busy with their own tasks.

After stocking up on supplies and getting an energy boost with M150, we continued our journey. After driving for about 10 kilometers, we soon reached the starting point for the hike to the waterfall.

Please bring water, electrolyte drinks, candy, and sugary snacks to help raise your blood sugar levels.

We often encounter bees that sting our arms. It is advisable to bring along some balm in case of bee stings.

Visitors are not permitted to hike to the waterfall independently and must be accompanied by a guide.

Alternatively, you can contact the village headman at 089-239-8975. There is a fee of 100 baht per person (including transportation and a guide). A guide is required, as getting lost is highly likely if you go alone.

The starting point for the waterfall hike has a car park and restrooms.

The first checkpoint involved wading through water. It's good that we don't have to hesitate because there's no way to avoid it. The water level is high right now, so we're definitely going to get wet. We came here today with the intention of getting soaked.

The initial section of the trail is straightforward, with a clear path and comfortable terrain for easy walking.

After this picture, I have to put away my DSLR. Look at the waterfall, it's so high and there's so much water today. The water spray is like raindrops.

My mother advised me against sun exposure, fearing I would become too tanned. To comply with her wishes, I decided to avoid direct sunlight during this trip.

The scenery was breathtaking, but our photos didn't do it justice. We used a cheap action camera, so the quality wasn't great.

From this point, we climbed higher to find a spot to sit and eat. We boiled water to make instant noodles, coffee, and Ovaltine, and just chilled out.

After finishing our meal, we headed up to the public corner. This is where I choked on my water.
