Feeling refreshed after a hike in the mountains.
Feeling lonely, come hang out with us.
What are you talking about? Okay, let's pull ourselves together and write a review first.
August 27-28, 2016
A trip where we weren't left hanging. We planned it just a few days beforehand with friends we'd been talking to on Facebook for a long time, but had never actually gone on a trip with before.
This is our first time meeting.
Our friend named Ko, a half-land, half-water human, enjoys living in the forest and preying on birds at night.
Wait, wait, wait, are you a real person? 55555 Just kidding, don't be mad at me.
This friend of ours is a nature lover who enjoys traveling.
Ko shared a picture of the Saptakund Waterfall and invited us to visit it in his post. We thought we would just go for a walk at Saptakund, but when we actually talked about it,
Let's go to sleep at Chong Khad. Then on Sunday morning, let's go hiking up Krok I-Dork Waterfall together. Wow, we definitely have to go!
This kind of trip is not something I would want to invite anyone to. Hiking is difficult, and I'm afraid of being nagged. 555
Jack wanted to invite his friends who enjoy hiking to join him. He thought of two people, but neither of them were available. The first person was donating supplies, and the second person was cleaning up the beach.
In summary, there are two people from Ko's group and three people from Jack's group, including Jack himself. So, there are a total of 3 people on this trip.
Selling something quick.
I'm open to greetings, conversations, and advice. However, please refrain from asking for money.
This is a travel page with photos of Jack. My journey by a little traveler.

DAY 1: Meeting Point - Hello, new friends! Enjoy the morning mist at Chet Khot.
Jack will not include many travel details and will provide a brief summary of the seven bends. Please hurry.
Let's go! Jack drove from Bangkok and arrived at Chet Khot in the late afternoon. Goh drove from Pak Chong with a younger sibling named Si.
Okay, everyone is here. Let's find a place to pitch our tents. We were planning to go hiking to the seven bends waterfall, but we're too late. We left too late.
The prime location by the river was teeming with tents. This riverside zone was a prime spot, so we opted for the upper zone.
Seeking shelter under the trees, we avoid the flowing water, for the sky suggests we won't escape the rain.
With the tent set up, there was no time to waste. We immediately prepared a meal, skipping the usual steps.
Grill
Who did this to our young man?
Two women stared at each other with wide eyes.
Wow, this guy is a real hunter! She has level 10 wilderness survival skills and can even cook amazing rice. 😂
Jack used his negotiation skills to secure gas from a nearby tent, while Nongsai used her skills to light the charcoal stove.
We three have come together to perfectly complete the missing parts, haven't we?
Is there anything else I can help you with?
This place offers tent rentals and comfortable shower rooms. There are also charging points available.
The store provides welfare and accommodation services.
This is the edge of the reservoir.
After dinner, we sat in a circle, strumming guitars and singing songs. It was just the three of us.
Wait, let's go back to dinner.
Translation:
The taste of the steamed egg is unforgettable, with a level of saltiness that could rival kidney failure.
"Ko said he made it for me to eat so that my body would have iodine. Tomorrow, when we go hiking, I won't get cramps. Is that right, Mr. Hunter?"
Sitting and playing the guitar, singing songs after 10 pm, the officers will come to check and tell us to stop making noise, so we have nothing to do.
Jack turned to grab his camera to take a picture of the stars, but the sky was overcast. He walked to the water's edge, but couldn't see anything. He returned to take a picture of the tent.
It seems like it's not going to clear up. Okay, then I'll sleep. It's raining again late at night. The flimsy tent from Big C isn't helping.
Jack had to move to tent number 11.
With such heavy rain, I thought there would definitely be fog in the morning. I woke up at 5:30 am and opened the tent. Wow, there was fog!
DAY 2 Light mist with small happiness Find secrets in the forest, Krok I Dok waterfall, wading, climbing, and climbing ropes.
After calling everyone, no one went to the riverside with us. This morning, everyone was busy with their own tasks.
Shi went to take a shower. Pran cooked breakfast for us. Jack went to take pictures as usual. He always eats for free.
This morning the view is beautiful. I won't type anything, just look at the pictures this morning after the rain last night.
The atmosphere is fantastic, with mist floating above the water.
Translation:
Many pictures
How wonderful it would be to wake up to this every day.
A great place to relax, close to Bangkok.
Feeling refreshed.
Translation:
Back at the tent, the members are grilling pork.
After eating, we prepared to move.
This morning, we were delighted by the fog, which Jack called happiness.
Translation:
Pack up your tent, gather your belongings, and prepare to embark on a journey to Krok E-dok Waterfall.
Grabbed lunch to go to eat at the waterfall. Got it in a bag so it would be easy to carry.
After stocking up on supplies and getting an energy boost with M150, we continued our journey. After driving for about 10 kilometers, we soon reached the starting point for the hike to the waterfall.
Please bring water, electrolyte drinks, candy, and sugary snacks to help raise your blood sugar levels.
We often encounter bees that sting our arms. It is advisable to bring along some balm in case of bee stings.
Translation:
The total distance we need to walk is 8 kilometers, 4 kilometers uphill and 4 kilometers downhill.
Visitors are not permitted to hike to the waterfall independently and must be accompanied by a guide.
Contact the Khun.18 Protection Unit officer at 085-968-3520 or 089-237-8659. The officer fee is 500 baht.
Alternatively, you can contact the village headman at 089-239-8975. There is a fee of 100 baht per person (including transportation and a guide). A guide is required, as getting lost is highly likely if you go alone.
Translation:
However, we walked on our own because our friend, Phran Goh, had been here before and was very familiar with the path. It was easy.
The starting point for the waterfall hike has a car park and restrooms.
Another essential item to bring is a waterproof bag, as the trail will require wading through water. However, Jack forgot to bring one.
Don't worry, Mr. Ko, the hunter, has one to lend you and will even carry the tripod for you.
Adorable, I want to make a shield for you.
Let's get started.
The first checkpoint involved wading through water. It's good that we don't have to hesitate because there's no way to avoid it. The water level is high right now, so we're definitely going to get wet. We came here today with the intention of getting soaked.
The initial section of the trail is straightforward, with a clear path and comfortable terrain for easy walking.
Strolling and foraging for mushrooms
We can find mushrooms all the way, some small, some large.
"It was still easy at first, but it got harder as I started walking."
This is a banyan tree. It is quite unusual.
The journey was challenging, with frequent stream crossings. The strong currents made it difficult to cross.
Translation:
Stopped to take photos of the waterfall along the way and took the opportunity to rest. 😜
Please proceed.
We need to cross the water again here. Let me capture this moment quickly.
Translation:
A little more
Continue walking.
We will encounter small waterfalls along the way.
Our guide walked with such ease, as if he were strolling through his own backyard.
I really like this picture. It seems to tell a story.
Our younger sibling is blending in with nature.
Translation:
As we walked, we encountered another waterfall. We crossed the water, getting completely soaked in the process.
What are you standing there for, posing?
Translation:
Another waterfall.
The tree is very large. The forest here is very fertile.
Translation:
After walking for a while, I wasn't feeling too tired, but my hair was soaked with sweat.
My legs started to feel tired when I had to climb up the steep slopes because it required a lot of leg strength.
Here comes the hard work.
The path is intermittently steep.
Hold on, the image is blurry.
Translation:
Refreshed and ready to continue.
Translation:
Looking up from certain sections of the road, we begin to see our destination. It is what we have been searching for.
The waterfall is indeed Grok I-Dok. One cannot help but exclaim, "Wow!" It is incredibly tall and appears quite dense. It is quite intimidating!
Retreating is not an option for us. We only know how to move forward. This time, we will prove ourselves.
This is my first time hiking. I'm wondering if I'll be able to do it and survive.
The path is getting rougher.
We are approaching the waterfall.
Glancing upwards, then downwards, at the vast expanse of the forest we had traversed, we couldn't help but marvel at how far we had come.
Translation:
Are the iconic models and fashionistas still relevant to today's youth?
Let's continue, climb the rope a little more.
Blurry image again.
After this picture, I have to put away my DSLR. Look at the waterfall, it's so high and there's so much water today. The water spray is like raindrops.
Save it first. The camera might break.
I climbed up here, and now I'm soaked from head to toe.
My mother advised me against sun exposure, fearing I would become too tanned. To comply with her wishes, I decided to avoid direct sunlight during this trip.
No sun exposure, but wading through water and exploring the forest. Haha, Mom must be relieved.
The scenery was breathtaking, but our photos didn't do it justice. We used a cheap action camera, so the quality wasn't great.
From this point, we climbed higher to find a spot to sit and eat. We boiled water to make instant noodles, coffee, and Ovaltine, and just chilled out.
The way you sit and eat is so manly, haha. Shot by Nong Si.
After finishing our meal, we headed up to the public corner. This is where I choked on my water.
This angle is super cool and very wet. The wind was strong, and I almost got blown away. I couldn't capture any images from the big camera because of the water. I couldn't fight the water. 5555

Sit here for a while, enjoy the waterfall at ease, and capture as many photos as you can.
It's probably a good time. We're going to go down now. Come on, everyone, let's take a group photo.
Group photo, how about it?
We agreed to stop by the lower floors to play in the water first.
A half-land, half-water photographer captures a half-land, half-water model.
After enjoying a refreshing swim and capturing some memorable photos, we continued our journey on foot.
Another group of mushrooms, a fitting end.
Hello, goodbye. Our exciting trip has come to an end.

This experience taught us that we are capable and have fallen in love with hiking. Jack believes that it improves concentration, as every step requires mindfulness and focus on the feet.
Translation:
It was a magical journey, with the rewards being self-conquest, the forging of friendships along the way, and the breathtaking beauty of nature all around.
Thank you to my lovely companions.
Anyone free to take me to level up? Hehe.
The 4-kilometer uphill climb felt like 10 kilometers, taking a grueling 2 hours.
Translation:
But the descent is chill, like walking in your backyard garden.
Visiting many attractions because I'm afraid I won't be able to walk when I'm old.
As long as we have the strength, we will never stop walking.
Translation:
Some people have already been there, some have gone and returned, and some are still hesitant.
Go and experience it for yourself, you will fall in love with Thailand.
"See you again soon"
