From the mountain, continue to Nan city center.

February 12th, after leaving Doi Pha Hom Pok National Park, we arrived at Nan Bus Terminal around 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM. We booked our bus tickets back to Bangkok and then used Google Maps to find more places to visit. We shared a taxi with a group of tourists who we had met on the way up the mountain (the taxi fare was 700 baht with stops at two places on the way up). The taxi fare on the way down was 1,000 baht and included a stop at a 7-Eleven. I didn't feel any motion sickness on the way up, but on the way down I felt dizzy and nauseous, so I just slept.

When we arrived at the bus terminal, I was so relieved. I asked one of the passengers for a plastic bag to put my snacks in.

We used Google Maps to find our way to Wat Sri Pan Ton, a temple located near the bus terminal.

Me: Is it far?
Friend: It says it's an 8-minute walk. What do you want to do?
Me: Let's take a motorbike taxi first and make sure we're going in the right direction. But if it costs more than 20 baht, we'll just walk.

Me: Excuse me, how much does it cost to go to Wat Sri Pan Ton?
Motorbike taxi driver: 30 baht.
Me: (looks at friend)
Friend: (nods) //Why did we agree that if it was more than 20 baht we wouldn't take it?

We took the motorbike taxi to the temple.

The golden temple of Wat Si Phan Ton gleams magnificently, a sight to behold. Let's go inside and pay our respects to the Buddha.

Of course, when exploring the city center, we focus on walking and nearby attractions. Our next stop is the Nan City Pillar Shrine.

The Nan City Pillar Shrine is a pristine white temple that is pleasing to the eye. The design is impressive, with both golden and white temples that exude elegance and beauty, making it well worth the visit.

After that, we continued walking to the Nan National Museum, which was surprisingly difficult to find. We wandered around in confusion, but eventually found our way.

Next, walk to Wat Hua Khwang.

Next, Wat Phra That Chang Kham Worawihan

After visiting Wat Phra That Chang Kham Worawihan, you can walk to the market next to Wat Phumin and then continue to Wat Phumin.

After leaving Wat Phumin, we went to recharge with beef noodles and desserts at Auntie Nim's shop, which is said to be a must-try. If you don't eat there, it's like you haven't been to Nan. And when we were very full, we felt like we couldn't walk anymore.

I'm so full! I walked back to the bus station and waited for the bus back. That's the end of my trip to Nan.
