- Going alone is much cooler. -

I went during the long weekend in July 2016.

I planned my trip well, with a schedule of 8 temples, but in reality, I only managed to visit 4. The train was delayed twice, so it was slow.

Starting point: Hua Lamphong Railway Station

On the train, we chose to sit in the last carriage. I once read on a website (I can't remember which one) that if a train crashes, the last carriage has the highest chance of survival. 5555+ A little superstitious.

(The train was very crowded. The engine broke down twice. It was also hot. But I love it, so it's okay.)

  • After a considerable amount of time, I finally arrived.

  • I was running late and wouldn't have made it on time by bike, so I took a motorbike taxi to Wat Mahathat.

  • I negotiated the price with the driver and agreed on 30 baht, which was about the same as renting a bike.

  • I hopped on the bike and headed to the temple.

- This is not yet from Wat Mahathat. -

Let's keep going, walking aimlessly without knowing which temple we're near. I only know Wat Phra Si Sanphet. We'll just go with the flow and see what happens.

Walk, I repeat, walk straight ahead, just follow the signs.

@Wat Mongkol Bophit, there were a lot of people, so I didn't go in. I just took a picture from outside.

Next, we will visit

@Wat Phra Si Sanphet

The temple is quite extensive, and I was able to capture most of it before my camera battery died.
