Hello.

The Central World Complex: A Culinary and Scenic Destination

While I have frequented the Central World shopping complex on numerous occasions, my experiences with the adjoining hotel have been limited to dining at The World and Ginger restaurants, which offer diverse buffet themes daily. Additionally, I attended an event at the Bangkok Convention Centre, affording me glimpses of the stunning rooftop views. Eager to explore the uncharted corners of this complex, I embarked on a return visit.

"Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at Central World"
Located right next to Central World shopping mall, the hotel is directly connected to the mall. However, this time, I wasn't there to shop. My goal was to visit the "Red Sky Bar," after seeing so many beautiful pictures of it online.

This time, the intention is not only to visit the Red Sky Bar, but also to stay at the hotel. For those who come by private car, there is a dedicated parking area for hotel guests located in the basement, on the hotel side. After parking, there is a dedicated zone elevator that takes you directly to the lobby on the 23rd floor for check-in.

Upon arrival, guests will check in and make a deposit. They will receive a welcome drink coupon, which can be redeemed at either the lobby lounge on the 23rd floor or the pool bar on the 26th floor.

This time, I stayed in a Superior World Room, which is a medium-sized room (32 sqm).

The interior design is modern and stylish, with the use of lighting to create a visually appealing atmosphere.

The room features a day bed and a work desk (but no glass table or dressing table).

Free Wi-Fi internet is available.

A welcome card or welcome card prepared with welcome fruits ... I have heard that a handwritten card like this shows the intention and care given to the guests who stay.

The hotel offers a pillow menu, allowing guests to choose the firmness of their pillows to suit their preferences.

The bathroom features a large glass wall, making the room appear more spacious. It includes a shower stall and a bathtub (a regular bathtub, not a Jacuzzi), with a sliding door that opens to the headboard of the bed.

The room view faces Pratunam ... with a clear view of the Baiyoke Tower.

When the sun was setting and the wind was calm, we went for a walk by the pool on the 26th floor and exchanged for a welcome drink at the pool bar, which could be chosen from soft drinks or fruit juices. We ordered fruit juice, which was freshly squeezed orange juice, and it tasted really good.

In addition to the swimming pool, the 26th floor also offers a fitness center, Cenvaree Spa, and tennis courts.

The reason I chose to stay here was to try "Red Sky" once (actually, even if you are not a guest, you can use the service).

The Red Sky Bar & Restaurant is located on the 55th floor.

The venue offers both air-conditioned and open-air sections.

++ Red Sky Restaurant on the 55th floor ++

To reach the Red Sky Bar, take the stairs up one more floor (56th floor).

The view is beautiful and the atmosphere is great, just as I had hoped.

From 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, enjoy our Happy Hour buy-one-get-one-free promotion. This offer applies to two drinks of the same type for one person (meaning two people can get four drinks, not two drinks each). Soft drinks start at 180++ baht.

The place was packed, so we had to take whatever seats were available.

The hotel has a dress code for the dining room to ensure a pleasant atmosphere for all guests. Guests are requested to refrain from wearing shorts, tank tops, or flip-flops.

Floor 54 will be the "Dining Room 55" section.

(Perhaps the only remaining restaurant that we haven't had the chance to visit yet.)

Before heading home, we stopped by "Zing Pastry Shop" on the 1st floor of the Hotel Tower. They offer a variety of beverages, pastries, Italian gelato, and light snacks. If you're looking for a light bite to tide you over, this is a great option.

It's not a bad idea to take a break and relax in the heart of the bustling city every now and then.

Gaining a fresh perspective that differs from the usual routine.

Thank you for watching. See you next time with a review of Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Krabi.
