Does anyone remember their first trip with their partner?
Newlyweds, even farts smell sweet and delightful. 🥰
The feeling at that time was like… wow, so excited!
Butterflies in my stomach, my head was full of all sorts of imaginations.
And… this trip was our first time together.
We specifically planned to come and practice taking pictures of each other. Hehe.
We planned in advance for a month.
But nothing went according to plan. 5555
(This review may not be very detailed in terms of accommodation, food, and travel. I apologize.)
Starting with bad travel planning.
The time was off by more than three hours.
But hey, I'm with you, I'll put up with anything. 5555
We took a van from Bangkok to Sattahip from Ekamai Bus Terminal.
The fare is not more than 150 baht.
Get off at Km 10 and take a shared taxi to the accommodation for 10 baht each.
They didn't look at the camera at all.
They were still shy at first, lol.
After getting to know each other for a while,
I gathered the courage to ask for a couple of photos.
Hehe, I got two pairs. Wow... -"-
We have arrived at our accommodation, the Lighthouse Resort.
We are staying on the top floor, which is quiet and peaceful. The atmosphere is quite pleasant.
(I haven't taken any photos of the accommodation yet, as I was too busy paying attention to my partner. Haha!)
We stayed in Room 2 with a view, which is located on the second floor. The picture shows the way up to the room.
Our next destination is Had Nang Ram - Nang Rong.
We will go there to eat fermented fish, sticky rice, papaya salad, and grilled chicken.
Hehehehehe :P
To get to the resort, there are motorcycle taxis available for hire in front of the resort.
You will need to negotiate the price with the driver yourself.
However, we thought it might be expensive, so we decided to hitchhike instead.
The person who kindly gave us a ride was a local resident.
They dropped us off right at the beach, which was very kind of them.
There is a 20 baht entrance fee for private vehicles that want to drive onto the beach.
Let's skip the part where we eat fermented fish salad, haha. 5555
The food prices are average, not too cheap, not too expensive.
There's a canteen inside that sells drinks.
………………………………………………………
After we're full, we'll start our mission to win her heart. 5555
I love taking pictures, I take pictures of everything, haha.
I adjust the camera randomly.
Sometimes it turns out well, sometimes it doesn't, but it's still okay to take pictures.
On this trip, I volunteered to take pictures to impress her. ^^
For guys who are learning to take pictures of their girlfriends like us,
You can try taking pictures like us too ^^
Keep trying, fighting!
……………………………
Let's start with the crevices in the rocks.
Find a good angle that doesn't seem dangerous, and then press the shutter!
Tilt the camera up, a little backlight, it's blurry.
The next angle, try to capture only the rock formations and the sea.
Look at the camera sometimes, sometimes look away, it's also beautiful in another way.
The sun is warm and pleasant. ^^
The sun is about to set....
.......................................
Gotta change clothes!! 5555
Changing right here? Seriously!! 5555
Here comes the sunset outfit! 5555
This angle captures the fish market beautifully.
The sunset at Nang Ram-Nang Rong Beach is truly breathtaking.
The atmosphere is serene and peaceful, with crystal-clear water, a gentle breeze, and a tranquil ambiance.
The beach is not overly crowded, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and rejuvenation.
We highly recommend this beach for its stunning natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere.
The sun has set.
Visiting the beach wouldn't be complete without some check-in photos.
Besides the couple photo this morning, here's another one. Haha -"-
Another day has passed, and we returned to our accommodation to enjoy a cold beer each.
We followed it up with a can of instant noodles each.
We need to rest early, as tomorrow we will be crossing over to Koh Kham. Wow!
.................................
The resort arranged for a car to pick us up. We scheduled it for 6 am.
We need to queue to buy tickets for the ferry.
We were worried about waiting a long time for the local shared taxi, so we asked the driver to pick us up.
The car fare was 100 baht.
I think the local shared taxi costs 10 baht per person.
.........................................
We queued to buy round-trip ferry tickets, which cost 200 baht per person.
There are three ferry departures in the morning: 9 am, 10 am, and 11 am.
There are also three return ferries: 1 pm, 2 pm, and 3 pm.
We boarded the first ferry at 9 am.
When it's time, a car will pick you up and take you to the port.
Today, out of the blue, it started raining. The sky is overcast too.
I asked the soldier and he said, "There's a storm today." Oh dear TT
Wait a little longer for the boat.
A 15-minute boat ride will take you to the middle of the sea, where a glass-bottom boat will pick you up and take you to the island.
We've arrived!
After we relaxed and talked last night,
letting loose and feeling comfortable,
exchanging feelings and opinions on many things,
we seem to have become a little closer. Hehehe.
As soon as we arrived at the island, it started raining.
The wind was strong and it was very cold. Oh well, such is life.
But she's still fighting.
One location, multiple shots. Lol
Moving on... changing outfits.
Walk a little further and you will find the bridge.
The water is very clear, stop by for a bit.
When the camera is in front of her, she becomes inexplicably cheerful. -"-
Women, oh women. 5555
The water level is high at the bridge ramp.
Another angle of this.
And... just by saying "Wow, that's a beautiful rock,"
You will receive her full cooperation.
She will walk over and pretend to be lost in thought for you to take a picture without having to ask.
5555555
No matter how difficult the path may be...
She will walk like a strong woman!!
After the rocky outcrop, let's take a look at the beach on the side of the island.
Walk past the bridge to the side of the island.
The water is crystal clear and the sand is incredibly soft and fine.
I don't know what to look at anymore, the sand or anything else.
My eyes are burning so much 5555
Bikini Restrictions on the Island
Please note: It is prohibited to wear bikinis while walking or swimming in the park.
Your boyfriend can bring a long-sleeved shirt to cover up when not taking photos.
Bikinis should be worn only for brief periods during photo sessions.
It is important to respect park regulations and dress appropriately.
We didn't go snorkeling on this trip to Koh Kham.
Because there was a storm, the water in the middle of the sea was quite cloudy.
So we spent most of our time taking pictures, playing in the water on the beach.
Sitting by the side of the island, eating snacks, talking to each other.
Let time go by.
That's okay for the two of us ^^
After playing in the water, changing clothes, and having something to eat,
We walked to see the area leading to the viewpoint.
Today, we couldn't go up to the viewpoint because the path was slippery.
Oh nooooooooo.
It doesn't matter, we can take some photos around the view.
This place is beautiful and peaceful, maybe because there were not many people when we went.
Behind the island
And this is another picture of us today 5555
I missed a lot of things during my visit to Koh Kham.
I will definitely have to come back again.
..................................
We chose to return on the second boat at 2:00 PM.
Because we are going to have a seafood party tonight.
So I will hurry back to prepare the ingredients.
Still taking photos on the boat, lol.
After disembarking, a car picked us up and dropped us off at the parking lot.
As we didn't have our own car, we had to walk a short distance to catch a shared taxi.
Here it is, 10 baht to your doorstep.
Seafood Feast and Farewell
Next to our accommodation was a bustling fresh market, selling everything imaginable. It was incredibly convenient, and the seafood was both fresh and incredibly affordable. We rented a stove, charcoal, and other equipment for only 100 baht (approximately $3 USD).
(Unfortunately, we didn't capture any photos of this experience.)
Being the adventurous souls we are, setting up the stove proved quite the challenge, leaving us famished by the time we were ready to cook. Cleaning the squid, which had burst its ink sac, peeling the shrimp and crab, dodging exploding clams, pouring water, serving rice, attending to my partner's needs, and battling the strong wind to shield the stove with a table… well, let's just say it was quite the ordeal.
By the time we were ready to eat, I was too exhausted to even take photos. ToT
……………………………….
Today, it was time to say goodbye. We woke up late, around 11 am, showered, packed our belongings, and finally checked out around noon.
Before leaving, we decided to have lunch at Haad Tay Ngam beach in Ao Nang. Our van was waiting for us at the entrance to the beach.
Upon arrival, there was a slight surprise. Due to yesterday's storm, the water level has risen to the top. As a result, she was disappointed, as shown in the picture...5555
After being tricked by the soldiers who said the water would recede,
After almost two hours, the water level rose even higher. 5555
The feeling of annoyance started to get heavier, the atmosphere was getting more and more tense.
And suddenly!!
5555555
Her new toy
Come on, come on.
You're in a good mood now, can you go home? 5555
And finally, let's say goodbye with one more picture today.
I came to the sea this time and only have 3 pictures of myself. 55555
As for the pictures of the person next to me, I won't mention them.
You could say that the computer froze!! 5555
......................................
