I want to go out on Saturday and Sunday.
Not sure where to go? We recommend Amphawa. Take a relaxing stroll and enjoy the abundance of delicious food.
We've been on several trips with P'Khaa as our tour guide. Hehe. We started our journey by bus around 9 am. We bought tickets at the Century queue at Victory Monument for 80 baht.
The journey takes approximately one and a half hours to reach the Amphawa Floating Market.
We continued to explore.
As the market becomes lively in the evening, around noon, we take a leisurely stroll. Many shops start opening around 11 am.
Located near the Amphawa Floating Market, Chuchart Buri Sri Amphawa is free to enter.
The interior features accommodations, shops, and picturesque photo opportunities.
The Thai house is the highlight of this place, but on the day we went, it was closed for renovation, so we couldn't see it during the grand opening. We had tried to come once before, but we didn't make it. We wanted to come because we heard it was a new place that had just opened, and at that time, we asked for information via Line and received a lot of information. The staff were diligent and responded well, so we were impressed and wanted to come.
A coconut shell heart, with our names written on it, to keep us connected!
After a satisfying stroll, let's head back to the floating market and indulge in some delicious treats.
We found a charming cafe called "Chompoo Bua Ban Cham," which translates to "Blooming Rose." The interior is designed as a cozy accommodation space.
Delicious and refreshing pineapple smoothie. This one is truly delicious and comes in a tall glass, I thought it was a pitcher, haha!
The mocha is also delicious. If you like it sweet, add condensed milk or sugar to your liking. For us, it's okay, not too sweet, with a hint of coffee aroma (because we took photos until it got cold, haha).
After a refreshing swim, we were hungry and found a restaurant called "Tiew Took Ga La" where a bowl of noodles costs only 20 baht.
Whether you prefer to sit with your legs dangling or tucked in, the choice is yours.
The dish was a bit sweet for my taste, so I added some chili flakes. It turned out delicious! The portion size was small, more like a taster. It cost 20 baht.
After finishing the noodles, we looked around the roadside.
The dish looks delicious, but at 30 baht per piece, it's a bit pricey for us.
Let's try some unusual ice cream flavors. Sri Mala, 45 baht.
The jackfruit in syrup is sweet, while the Mayom with chili and salt is slightly sour. It can be used to cut through the richness of the jackfruit.
After satisfying our hunger, we took a boat ride to visit the temple for 50 baht per person.
I can't remember the names of all the temples we visited, but I do remember the last one, Wat Bang Kung.
A stop for Mieng Kham, 10 baht per skewer, 4 skewers available.
Delicious, but there's betel leaf stuck in your teeth. Haha.
We have arrived at Bang Kung Temple.
This place has a fair amount of small and large animals, almost like a miniature zoo.
After returning from the temple tour, we went to see the tour bus. As shown in the picture.
Thirsty? Grab a drink for 20 baht each.
They have already finished drinking water, and they are also given lamb to eat.
Continuing our search for food, we stumbled upon Fondue Indy, where skewers cost 10 or 20 baht each. There were four dipping sauces to choose from: green tea, strawberry, chocolate, and taro. The taro sauce was an unexpected purple color, resembling blueberries. We couldn't resist trying it!
After admiring the cute appearance of the dessert, I turned around and saw, hmm, BBQ pork and chicken skewers for 10 baht each. Let's get some!
The evening atmosphere is starting to get lively.
Has anyone ever eaten cotton candy like this and wanted to eat it again? Come here, there's still some. It's fun, especially when you put in the coins, haha.
Feeling hungry again. Let's have crab noodle soup for 35 baht, seafood salad for 50 baht, and scallops for 50 baht.
Let's take a relaxing walk after we finish eating.
A wide variety of delicious food options are available at affordable prices.
Three standard-priced desserts for 100 baht.
Stumbled upon this stall and the drink looked delicious, so I bought it for 25 baht. It's iced milk with Chinese herbal jelly, and it's so good! It's blended so it has a rich and creamy milk flavor. The herbal jelly is also chewy and delicious. Don't miss this menu! After you get off the bridge, walk straight and you'll find it. There's only one stall there!!
Abundant broken-faced mackerel with bent necks are available at reasonable prices.
Pickled oysters. I heard this restaurant is delicious.
We were planning to take a boat ride to see the fireflies, but the dark clouds are rolling in, so we'd better head back.
Departed from Amphawa around 5:30 PM and arrived at Victory Monument around 9:00 PM. A relaxing day trip near Bangkok.
