"What can you photograph in 5 hours?"

This is the question that was on my mind before going to Singapore this time. This trip was for work, and I only had personal time from the day I arrived around 3 pm to 8 pm. So I looked for a route to take photos in a limited time. As a result of asking Google for everything, I got the following route:

                1. A: Dhoby Ghaut Station
                2. B: Fort Canning Park
                3. C: MICA Building
                4. D: Victoria Theatre & Concert Hall

Upon arrival at Dhoby Ghaut Station, take exit B and cross Penang Road towards Park Mall. Turn left and you will see the entrance to Fort Canning Park.

FORT CANNING PARK

Passing through this tunnel feels like stepping into a time tunnel. Fort Canning Park, a historical landmark in Singapore, was a strategic point during World War II.

While the interior is now beautifully decorated and has become a popular leisure destination for Singaporeans, traces of its history, such as the various forts, still remain.

As you walk south towards the Hill Street exit, the next destination becomes increasingly clear. The brightly colored building that we saw from behind is our next stop… MICA BUILDING.

This is the Mica Building, which houses the Singapore Ministry of Communications and Information.

This building has 927 windows, all painted in a rainbow gradient.

This building is renowned among photography enthusiasts, often referred to as the "Colorful Building."

Continuing down High Street, you will see the Victoria Theatre & Concert Hall, your next destination, on your right.

According to a Singaporean Instagrammer I follow, this location is a minimalist photographer's paradise.

This 19th-century building now serves as a theater and concert hall.

Is there anything else I can help you with?

Upon arrival, there was a slight disappointment as the scenic spots previously seen were closed due to it not being a performance day. However, there were still many good angles to capture. If given the opportunity, I would return to capture the hall and clock tower. In fact, the original plan ended here, but with some time to spare, I continued walking to Marina Bay.

And just like that, my short trip to Singapore came to an end. It wasn't until I returned to Thailand that I realized I had forgotten to take photos of landmarks like the Merlion or Marina Bay Sands...
