Phetchabun, the land of mist, is a province surrounded by green nature.
First, stop by Tanrak Sea of Mist (Orange House) to fill up on sweetness and take beautiful photos.
From the Mountaintop: A Journey to Phu Thap Boek
Embark on a journey to Phu Thap Boek, a mountain village inhabited by the Hmong people, where the air remains perpetually cool throughout the year. Witness the agricultural practices of these highland communities, including the vast cabbage fields, the largest in the country. As you travel, be captivated by the mesmerizing mist that envelops the winding roads.
Main Viewpoint of Phu Thap Boek
The viewpoint of Phu Thap Boek is "1,768 meters above sea level"
The highest in Phetchabun Province, 1 of Unseen Natures and Wonders
Then, travel to Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park.
Upon arrival at Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park, we must hike to Pha Chu Thong and Hin Pum Viewpoint,
which are scenic viewpoints along a natural trail with vibrant green moss contrasting against the rocky terrain.
"Stone Button Field" is a vast field dotted with protruding rocks.
It is located approximately 4 km from the park headquarters, at the edge of a cliff.
The hike is quite strenuous, but the clifftop offers refreshing cool breezes.
And of course, we couldn't continue walking to Pha Chu Thong, so we had to turn back the way we came…
After that, we will travel to our accommodation, Khao Kho Rabeang Phu.
There are both single-detached houses in the style of adapted Thai wooden houses and hotel-style rooms.
This is a natural accommodation with a good atmosphere, delicious food, and beautiful music.
After checking out of our accommodation in the morning, we will pay our respects at the **Phra That Pha Sorn Kaew** pagoda, which enshrines a relic of the Lord Buddha. The pagoda is situated on a hilltop amidst serene natural surroundings.
What are you wishing for?
The pagoda is uniquely decorated with ceramic cups and colorful stones, creating a visually stunning and unusual sight.
Before heading back, stop by Pino Latte Resort & Cafe, a stylish cafe converted from shipping containers with breathtaking 180-degree mountain views of Khao Kho.
This cafe and resort offers a perfect combination of fresh air and stunning scenery, making it a must-visit destination in Khao Kho.
We bid farewell to the land of mist, embarking on our return journey.
.......We shall surely return for another visit when the opportunity arises.......
