DAY 1
Vacation days left, sick leave available, ready to go! Here we go!!!!
We departed on Friday night, October 21, 2016, at exactly 7 pm. The traffic was heavy on the road to Ayutthaya, so we diverted to the Saraburi route and then turned back to Ayutthaya. We used Map to check the route, and it showed us a shortcut that we were not familiar with. Since we were traveling at night, it was difficult to see clearly. However, we managed to avoid the traffic jam successfully. Map is amazing!
The weak can sleep, but the strong will fight on. 55555 We took turns driving like security guards, changing shifts until we reached our destination. Only the owner of the post couldn't drive (lucky him). Not at all... I had to keep my eyes open. I couldn't sleep. We had to keep the driver awake by talking to him. Another way was to play upbeat music to keep him awake. Hehe.
Teleported to Lamphun! It's 4:30 AM and I'm waiting for the gas station to open. I'll refuel, rest the car and myself, and freshen up before continuing my journey.
Whenever you're hungry, just stop by 7-Eleven. 55555 They have everything you could ever want, and this is what I had for breakfast as the sky was changing colors.
A feast fit for a king! Crispy pork laab, juicy gyoza, and a towering tonkatsu sandwich – a meal to remember!
The eyelids are drooping, are you ready? Are you readyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy? ( *I'm not ready yet in my heart*) This morning, let's play a curve marathon together @_@
The drowsiness vanished instantly! It was like riding a roller coaster with endless loops. Hold on tight, little brother... the brakes are burning! (It would be crazy if they weren't.) We descended along the winding road, the curves tighter than a pig's intestines. The narrow lanes barely allowed cars to pass without caution, requiring constant honking at blind corners. The sharp bends sent shivers down our spines. Time to stop and let the brakes cool down before they give out completely.
And then... it seemed like something was about to come out of his mouth. Done!!! It turned into a joke 555555
The screen is frozen! I'm not in the mood. Don't bother me! 555555 Oh! The grandson is no longer arrogant. How is it? There are 4 survivors left. Who will be the next? While resting the car, don't waste time. Let's take a picture together.
Oh, wow! You're suddenly so cheerful and lively. I bet you want to take some photos.
The author describes a tip they received from a colleague to prevent nausea while driving on a winding mountain road. The tip involved placing a "ko eeyah" (a type of Thai amulet) on their navel. Initially skeptical, the author decided to try it and was surprised by the effectiveness. They experienced no nausea despite the sharp curves, attributing their success to the amulet. The author concludes with a humorous remark about their determination to avoid vomiting.
Indeed, bypassing the winding roads would be more pleasant. The open sky, mountains, and cool breeze would be a delightful experience.
My stomach was growling loudly. It was difficult to find a restaurant until I came across one called "Aroi." It was conveniently located on the side of the road.
The restaurant's menu offers a variety of dishes, including noodles, papaya salad, and smoothies, providing a comprehensive dining experience in one location.
Note: Delicious taste, affordable price, including rice and drinks. All of this for just over two hundred baht.
After a satisfying meal, we embarked on a long journey towards the heart of Mae Hong Son city. ٩(^ᴗ^)۶
The first stop was the Chamber of Commerce office in Mae Hong Son to obtain a certificate. This is the face of the conqueror of the 1,864 curves. It looks like a win, so we should be proud, right? 55555 Even though I wasn't the driver, I was just a passenger, I could still get one. It only cost 40 baht per certificate.
Approximately 3 kilometers away, we will make a stop to pay our respects at **Wat Phra That Doi Kong Mu**. If you are visiting Mae Hong Son province and do not come here, it is considered that you have not truly arrived. This is because it is a temple that is deeply connected to the history and culture of the city.
Walk straight past the temple for a bit and you will find a famous coffee shop called Before Sunset. It is a small shop with many corners for you to choose from.
The main attraction of this place is undoubtedly the breathtaking view. It's the perfect spot to relax, take in the scenery, and enjoy a refreshing drink.
From here, we head straight to Pang Ung.
Uncle Jai Homestay is our accommodation for tonight. It's a budget-friendly homestay that costs 600 baht per night. We arrived at almost 5 pm, and the weather was pleasantly cool. We quickly unloaded our belongings into the room and headed out for a walk around Pang Ung.
The room is equipped with a sleeping mat, pillows, and blankets. There are no fans or air conditioning. The bathroom has a pit toilet, and water is stored in a large earthenware jar for bathing.
**Pang Ung**, officially known as the **Royal Project Pang Tong 2**, is often referred to as the "Switzerland of Thailand." During the early morning hours, visitors can witness a breathtaking spectacle as mist gently dances across the surface of the Pang Ung Reservoir, nestled amidst a serene pine forest. As the sun begins its ascent, the mist gradually dissipates, revealing the captivating beauty of Pang Ung in all its glory. This mesmerizing phenomenon is undoubtedly one of the most enchanting aspects of this idyllic destination.
Before the sky darkened, we decided to inquire about the price of a round-trip scenic raft ride. The uncle quoted us 150 baht for two people per raft, which is a discount from the usual price of 300 baht per raft during the winter season.
Don't hesitate at this price! Huge discounts on the summer sale. Take a boat ride and enjoy the view. You'll be able to talk to him about it later.
The old man will paddle us to the far end of the reservoir, where we will emerge near a spot where many tourists are camping and building bonfires. It looks like a lot of fun.
Immersed in the beauty of nature, surrounded by a romantic valley, we sipped our drinks. Time flew by in a blissful daze, and before we knew it, the round was over!
Due to the limited time, we were unable to capture all the details of this location. We plan to return tomorrow morning to gather more information.
As dusk approaches in the winter season, the sky darkens earlier than usual.
Upon exiting, I stumbled upon a shop selling deep-fried soybeans that looked exactly like French fries! However, the taste was quite different. When eaten hot and freshly cooked, they were crispy and had a fragrant soybean aroma.
Walk back to the accommodation... Here they have a service of grilled pork, cooked-to-order dishes. Choose from the menu they have. For this meal, we chose grilled pork. This set is 300 baht with a charcoal stove, a set of pork, vegetables, glass noodles, chicken eggs, meatballs, crab sticks, soup, plates, and chopsticks. >"<
After enjoying the barbecue, we went back to our rooms to rest and wait in line to shower. Since there was only one bathroom, it could be a bit slow. We took a quick shower with a dipper, and it was quite shocking! The water was freezing cold, but those who could handle it jumped right in. I was shivering and screaming, "Kill me, kill me, let me die!" (T_T) After the shower, I felt refreshed.
Speaking of electricity, my sister, who had visited here three years ago, told me that... the power used to be cut off after 10 pm, so everyone had to finish their personal tasks quickly. But now, they've made improvements and the electricity stays on all night! We asked the owners, an aunt and uncle, if we could charge our camera batteries and phones. (Note: There are no electrical outlets in the cabins.) The aunt said the outlet was next to the pole, but they didn't have an extension cord. We were fine with that, as we had brought our own. We plugged in our devices and left them to charge, checking on them periodically.

DAY 2
I heard the rain all night before I fell asleep. // The alarm clock was set, why didn't anyone hear it? I woke up with my eyes open, the sound of the rain still hadn't stopped. And what choice did I have? Choose to sleep in, huh? Whoosh... ZzzZz I woke up with a start again at 6:00 am. Oh my god... I'm so late, my fog must be gone. I was a little embarrassed when I walked into Pang Ung. I mean, we were walking in, and a lot of people were walking out (it hurt my heart). It's too late, so let's try again next life, I mean next time!!!!! Even though we're late, we still have friends who are late. Some groups are just starting to come in. Don't worry, you know?!!! But even though it's this late, the weather is still good. It might be because of the rain.

This area is the restaurant zone. You can go up and have a meal.
It's already 10 am! Time to grab some breakfast.
The King's image resides in the hearts of the Thai people. It is a ubiquitous sight in every home, every establishment, and every homestay here. A portrait of His Majesty will be displayed at the front of the resort.
This morning, Uncle Jai had delicious pork congee with soft-boiled eggs. It was so good, I highly recommend it! It's a hidden gem, but I can't keep it a secret any longer. I have to share this deliciousness with everyone!
I also stopped by to try the deep-fried mantou with condensed milk...oh my, it's delicious!
"Woof woof… please, just a little bit (with pleading eyes)."
Before leaving Pang Ung, indulge in a sweet treat at a cafe conveniently located just before the exit. The cafe, aptly named "Pala Coffee," is easy to find.
In addition to selling coffee, this place also serves as a comprehensive coffee production learning center.
The interior of the shop is shady and there are many zones for us to choose from. The front of the shop is more of a waiting area for coffee than a place to sit for a long time.
Books are available for reading while waiting. Reading them makes me think of my father.
**
**
Stepping inside, you'll encounter a verdant zone, offering seating beneath the trees, akin to a garden within your home.
Nearby, there is a large bamboo grove, offering a peaceful and secluded atmosphere with tables for relaxation.
Further inside, there is a seating area with a view of the mountains and trees, refreshing and pleasing to the eye. As I said, choose whatever you like.
After exploring the entire store, I came out to receive the order I had placed.
The tea leaves are freshly plucked from the tree, with caterpillars still clinging to the top of the leaves. Just kidding! Anyone who wants to come and try it must be patient... very patient. The tea here is brewed with great care and attention, which is why the taste is so well-balanced. If I had more time, I would definitely slow down and enjoy the atmosphere.
However, the dream was shattered in an instant. 5555555 Instead, they took it to drink in the car. Are you ready? Ask your heart. The curve is so steep that the tea will come out as vomit.
Our next destination was Kuaitiao Hoikha Baan Ja Bo in Pang Ma Pha District, Mae Hong Son Province. This is a restaurant that I had in mind before coming here, wanting to sit and eat noodles with my legs dangling, looking at the beautiful view like the ones people share online. We're here... let's take a look!
The restaurant was packed. (It was a holiday, after all.) There were so many people waiting in line that there weren't enough tables to accommodate everyone. The restaurant needs to expand immediately.
**Ja Bo Noodle Shop** offers a variety of noodle dishes, including waterfall noodles and tom yum noodles, with prices starting at 40 baht per bowl. The main attraction is the unique seating arrangement, where customers can enjoy their noodles while dangling their feet over the edge of the platform. The shop also features several scenic spots perfect for capturing memorable photos.
First Angle (Public Angle) This angle is extremely popular, but the number of people and seats are not balanced. Some people don't even come to eat noodles, they just want to sit and take cool photos with their legs dangling and then leave. Some people are standing hungry, but they still want to take photos from this angle, so they wait until the others get up. It's quite pitiful. ( Note: This photo was taken when I was leaving. )
The Second Angle
The second angle is located near the area where the young woman is making noodles. It's not hot, it's cool and comfortable, and you can sit and enjoy the full view. If I come again, I would like to sit and eat at this angle.
I can't wait. Bye-bye. You can sit somewhere else, I won't be sad. (Not really) The person who took my order told me that it's very busy today, usually it's not this busy. / Yes, let's hope it's your turn soon. - -" After I finished ordering, I had to be quick and stand to look for a spot. When a group got up, I immediately charged in. 555 It was like playing musical chairs. And luck was on my side, even though I didn't get a seat with dangling legs, it's okay.
This was the longest wait for noodles in the history of the world. Can this be recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records? Two hours to wait for a bowl of noodles each. Oh my god! How long can I wait? (gritting teeth) Because while I was waiting, I ate more than ten bags of fried pork rinds. But I have to admit that the meatballs and the tom yum soup were delicious.
Before leaving, there is a photo spot with a wooden seat extending outwards, offering a beautiful view. This is another grand gesture from the Ratchadalae Theatre.
We were about to head straight to our accommodation, but guess what? We were stopped at a checkpoint! The thing is, we really needed to use the restroom, and it's incredibly difficult to find one up here in the mountains. Luckily, we saw a sign that said "Clean restrooms ahead," followed by some other information. We even commented in the car, "There's a sign that says there are clean restrooms ahead."
Hey, this is Doi Kiew Lom Stop, stop, stop! I can't not stop. It wasn't in the plan. Just seeing the view, I'm telling you... I don't even need to use the bathroom, but I'm getting off 5555555555
Note: The original text is empty, so the translation is also empty.
On the other side of the road, you'll encounter a different kind of view. Rows of shops line the street, offering a variety of goods. There are also pavilions where tourists can rest and enjoy the cool breeze while taking in the distant vista. Large wind turbines stand tall on either side.
Most of the views on this side will see people's houses far below, and the cool wind will blow on your face.
The sky is so beautiful, let's catch the naughty one and throw it down ha throw it up ha That's right !!!!!
(Please note that I am unable to translate the provided text as it is incomplete and lacks context. To ensure accurate and meaningful translation, I require a complete sentence or phrase.)
☁ ☁ The sky is so high, the wind is so cool, can I take it home? ●^∀^● It's so beautiful.
A Taste of Cape Gooseberry: A Sweet and Tangy Farewell
Before departing, I stopped to purchase some Cape gooseberries, a fruit I had never tried before. The vendor enthusiastically described its health benefits, comparing its appearance to a small, round, yellow-orange loquat hidden within delicate husks. He cautioned against consuming the entire fruit, advising me to savor only the inner flesh. The taste was a delightful blend of sweet and tangy, with an aromatic fragrance reminiscent of nutmeg.
After researching the claims made by the seller, I discovered that cape gooseberry is indeed a product of the Highland Project Foundation's small fruit promotion and development program. It is cultivated by hill tribe communities as a cash crop in mountainous regions as an alternative to opium. This explains why it is commonly consumed fresh, dipped in chocolate or honey, added to salads, made into juice, or used in jams in northern Thailand's mountainous regions. Its health benefits include being rich in vitamin C, which helps prevent colds and allergies, as well as vitamin A, which promotes eye health, prevents night blindness, improves vision, and enhances skin and hair health. Notably, it has been shown to inhibit the growth of HT-29 and HCT-116 cancer cells in humans and effectively stop the growth of tumor cells. I regret not buying more!
Let's head to our accommodation!
Tonight, we'll be staying at the Royal Project Pine Forest of Wat Chan Monastery (RPF) in Galyani Vadhana District, Chiang Mai. The road leading there is paved all the way, and we stopped along the way to take photos whenever we came across beautiful scenery.
The road was practically deserted, which made me a little nervous. I wondered if I was on the right path, as it was so eerily quiet. Then I thought, perhaps everyone has already reached their accommodation. It's quite late now, and they've been good at keeping to the schedule since Pang Ung. ≧▽≦
You tricked me, Star. ︶︹︺ I didn't find many good roads. I encountered roads with sharp curves and steep inclines, potholes, and bumps. (I'm still playing) During the climb, the roads twisted and turned in many directions. I understand why there are so few cars driving in opposite directions or following each other. The road is so adventurous. It would be fun to drive a pickup truck, but our small car can handle it too. Just drive slowly, carefully avoid the potholes, and be patient. After overcoming the obstacles, we finally arrived. We made good time, arriving just before dark. ◕‿‿◕。
Driving in felt like entering a dream world. I was right to come. Places that are difficult to reach often have something worth exploring.
Upon check-in, request the house key. Walk left, less than 10 steps, then turn left again. There will be a sign indicating the name of the house, which is "Baan Pa Ka Eo 1-2." Do not hesitate to move your belongings in!
Stepping inside, you'll feel like you've been transported to another country. The atmosphere is perfect, and it's very private, like it's our own home.
Turn right and you will find a table set up connecting the two houses. It is a single-story house with two houses in a pair. The price is 1,500 baht/night (excluding meals).
The right side is Pa-ko-e-nyo House 1.
The left side is the second Pa-ga-nyao house.
There is a set of chairs in front of the room.
Upon entering the room, you will find a bed on the right-hand side. At the foot of the bed, there is a cabinet for storing glasses, drinking water, tea, and coffee. There is no television or refrigerator, but there is a wall-mounted fan opposite the bed. In the right corner, there is a table for reading books.
Walking further in, you will find the kitchen. However, it can hardly be called a kitchen, as it only has a sink. (This is because there is a rule against cooking.)
The bathroom is located on the left-hand side and features a hot water heater, as well as shampoo and shower gel.
Let's walk around the house and check it out. Turn right and walk up the bridge. Continue walking along the path and you will reach the area where the new rooms are being built. The path ends there.
The light began to fade, and darkness began to encroach. On our way to the project's cafeteria, we stopped to browse the souvenirs.
Alright! It's dinner time! Actually, you need to call and make a reservation one day in advance to let them know if you want dinner and breakfast. Some people go out to eat at nearby restaurants, but we forgot to call before we came, so we took a chance and went to the cafeteria to ask. It turned out that we were able to get dinner, so we were saved for another meal. ´﹃`
After a short wait, dinner was served. The set included a pot of rice, a set of fresh vegetables with dipping sauce, northern Thai chili paste, crispy pork rinds, stir-fried cabbage with pork, stir-fried glass noodles, clear soup with tofu and minced pork, and tom yum chicken. For dessert, there was watermelon. The food here is not spicy, so those who prefer a bit of heat may want to bring their own condiments.
Our bellies full, we walked back to our accommodation. The atmosphere at night was quite scary (I'm just being paranoid ⊙▂⊙). It was a completely different vibe from the evening. Perhaps it was because the resort was lined with pine trees, making it seem darker than usual at night. The darker it is, the more stars you can see, so there might be a chance to photograph the Milky Way.

After completing personal tasks, we sat down to hunt for elephants. We loaded the Starchart app to view the elephants' locations and set the parameters. This is the only picture we were able to capture.
Stunned... completely stunned =°□°= Where's the white elephant? All I found were elephants running away 55555 This is what happens when you try to take photos for the first time!!! Telling myself it's okay... it's okay ꒦ິȏ꒦ິ Bye ~ Cancel the activity, let's all go to sleep. Wiping away tears, good night.

DAY 3
Hello everyone! We have an appointment at 6 am to wake up and walk to pick up the fog, hugging the Ban Chang Khao Reservoir together. (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
The royal guards stayed up all night to watch over the little dog. ︶。︶ He slept soundly!!!
The project area is shrouded in a light mist, with spider webs clinging to the pine trees. As you walk straight ahead, there will be a sign pointing the way to the reservoir. 1ˇεˇ๑•¨•.¸¸♪
**The Royal Project at Pa Son Wat Chan is a project initiated by His Majesty the King to "develop and conserve forest resources, soil and water, alongside agricultural development in the area of the headwaters of streams, develop the use of pine wood and natural pine resin, and improve the economic and social status of the people by planting replacements, experimenting with forestry techniques to develop the forestry industry and restore forest areas in the headwaters of streams to their original natural state."**
Wherever we go, He is always watching over us, for we have the same Father.
" Father of the Land "
Arrived at... Ban Chang Khao Reservoir OMG (ʘ╻ʘ) It's just as beautiful as Pang Ung.
This place boasts a strong sense of nature, with fewer crowds, less hustle and bustle, and a peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for relaxation.
The mist floats, carried by the wind. ♫♪˙‿˙♫♪ ♫♪ ♫♪ ♫♪
Is that Getsunova style? But... your face is a bit big. Match, you didn't cover your double chin completely. 5555555+
It's 8 o'clock, time for breakfast. Let's head back to the cafeteria. ≧ڡ≦
One Korean series, oh my... Do you really need to cross your legs like that? 555 I give up!!!!
The text describes the seasonal changes in a location with maple trees.
- First Sentence: It states that during the winter months (specifically December to February), maple leaves begin to change color and fall.
- Second Sentence: It mentions the "green season" which occurs at the end of the rainy season and the beginning of winter. During this time, the landscape remains lush and vibrant after recent rainfall.
- Concluding Sentence: The text concludes by stating that the beauty of the green season rivals that of the winter scenery.
This morning's breakfast features a steaming bowl of rice porridge, accompanied by pan-fried Chinese sausage, salted duck egg, pickled mustard greens, and stir-fried mustard greens with oyster sauce. Self-service options include toast with jam and a selection of hot beverages such as tea, coffee, and Ovaltine.
Note: If the food runs out, you can request more for free. The author requested another stir-fried vegetable dish with oyster sauce, and it was freshly cooked and delivered to the table. It was absolutely delicious!
Our bellies were full, and we headed back to collect our belongings. We're sure we'll be back again soon, as we loved the abundance of nature, the friendly staff, and the service that made us feel like family. All in all, it was a truly memorable experience that we highly recommend.
This area also offers a wide variety of houses in different styles. ****I secretly went to take a look, and each one is just as beautiful as the next.***

☀ ☁ ☀ ☁ ☀ ☁ ☀ ☁ ☀ ☁ ☀ ☁
We packed our belongings into our bags and continued our journey. We turned left and went back the way we came. We saw a sign that said "Hot Spring of Muang Paeng". We were surprised to find a good road, as if it had just been built. We followed the sign and arrived at the hot spring. As soon as we got out of the car, we could smell the strong odor of sulfur. We wondered who had boiled eggs there.
Embrace the sunshine and conquer your fears! ☀ ♨ ☀ ♨ ☀ ♨
The steam was scorching hot, hitting us in the face. Combined with the blazing sun, it was unbearable. After taking photos, we quickly jumped back into the car.
After running along Highway 1095, the endless curves of the marathon proved too much for me. I don't know when I passed out, but when I woke up, my brother had stopped for a refreshing drink. We checked in at Anchalee Coffee We, a charming cafe with a witchy theme. On the left side, you'll see a replica yellow kilometer marker with a witch riding a broomstick, standing out majestically. The cafe is located on the route from Chiang Mai to Pai to Mae Hong Son.

"Om, may the depths of the earth rumble and tremble! Peng! The mischievous one chanted before entering the shop."
The shop is adorned with witches, making it quite charming. The interior is spacious, airy, and pleasantly cool.
The Sorting Hat will decide which house I will be in. (Gryffindor, perhaps?)
We ordered kiwi tea, grape tea, and green tea. The prices were reasonable, around 55 baht per glass. If you're in the area, stop by and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea to prepare for the next round of drinks.
Take a stroll along the Canopy Walkway, a skywalk and nature trail located within the Queen Sirikit Botanic Garden in Mae Rim District, Chiang Mai. The entrance fee is 40 baht for adults and 20 baht for children, with an additional 100 baht per vehicle for car access. The garden is open from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
For those who do not have a car, there is a tram service available to pick you up and drop you off at various points according to your destination.
Following the map provided at the entrance, we first took a walk on the Canopy Walkway.
Let's first learn the rules…
Please bring a pair of flip-flops to change into if you are wearing high heels.
The walkway is made of steel and is sturdy, but it may not be suitable for those who are afraid of heights or elderly individuals. The walkway is over 400 meters long, so it may be more comfortable to walk in the early morning. As it is an open-air walkway, it offers a natural experience. However, if you start walking in the late morning or afternoon, it may be quite hot.
As the day drew to a close, the air was pleasantly cool. As I continued my walk, I noticed sections where both the ground and the barriers were made entirely of glass. These areas offered stunning 360-degree views, providing a perfect spot to pause and admire the scenery.
There are three main rules at this point: no jumping, no leaning on the glass, and no more than four people borrowing at a time.
Halfway through the walk, there will be a shortcut on the left. The shortcut will lead you back to the entrance.
Time is of the essence, as the garden will close in a matter of hours. We must make haste and quicken our pace.
"Anything goes if it's refreshing. 55555 Let's find something cold to quench our thirst, one stick each."
Drive up to the next zone, which is about 500 meters past the Canopy Walkway. We've arrived!
**The greenhouse complex** houses a collection of plant species from both Thailand and abroad, categorized according to their suitability for the local climate. This makes it an ideal location for those seeking to learn about plants, especially rare and unique species. The complex is divided into three main sections: **a large greenhouse, a medium-sized greenhouse, and a general plant display greenhouse.**
They climbed up together. They finally arrived... panting... exhausted!
Let's explore the category of drought-tolerant plants. Follow me!
This section focuses on the diverse range of cactus species.
And then there are the plants of the Agave genus, stone roses, ferns, and tall drought-tolerant trees. Choose according to your preference!
Walk hand in hand, go until old age (can you do it) 555555555555
Walking to the end of the house, you will pass through a wooden water house and carnivorous plants.
This is a map of the walking route within the Queen Sirikit Botanic Garden.
Credit: www.qsbg.org/Test/map6666.jpg
The author only visited two of the twelve greenhouses (Is that a waste?) due to the need to check in to their accommodation and the approaching closing time of the garden. This is a map of the Queen Sirikit Botanic Garden. There are many other points of interest to explore and learn about. You can spend the whole day here, from morning to night. It's a great place to gain knowledge and take beautiful photos. I will definitely visit the Queen's garden again next time.
乁༼☯‿☯✿༽ㄏ 乁༼☯‿☯✿༽ㄏ乁༼☯‿☯✿༽ㄏ
Let's drive up to check in at our accommodation. Many people may not be familiar with it yet, as it was only built a few years ago. It is owned by the same people as Mon Ing Dao, but Mon Ing Dao is located higher up. We have arrived at... Mon Ai Din.
Note: The original text is empty, so the translation is also empty.
Our accommodation for tonight is another scenic spot with stunning views, located just 1.7 km from Mon Cham. It offers both private bungalows and tent accommodations. For those seeking a more immersive nature experience, tents are a great option. The campsite is located in a separate area and is situated higher than the bungalows.
The accommodation here is divided into separate houses, each with two floors. The ground floor is a dormitory with polished concrete walls in a loft style.
The spacious and clean interior is fully equipped with various amenities, including a TV, fan, two large beds, and one bathroom.
The bathroom is equipped with a water heater, a sink, a toilet, and a urinal for men.
The upper floor is an open-air seating area where you can relax and enjoy the cool breeze. It's perfect for stargazing, having a meal, or simply enjoying the view.
The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including single-plate meals, side dishes, and the popular "moo kata" and "jim jum" hotpots. To order, simply write down your desired dishes on a piece of paper and hand it to the staff. They will ask you what time you would like to eat, and then deliver your food directly to your accommodation.
It's time for a delightful dinner. We went upstairs to eat at our house. The weather was amazing, but it was a bit dim. In fact, it's not a dining area because not every house has a dining table upstairs, but this one does.
We ordered a set of moo kata, which is a Thai barbecue dish. We were surprised to find it served on a high platform in the cold weather. We were very excited about the moo kata, which came with four additional options.
Everything was delicious, especially the grilled pork and the amazing dipping sauce.
After finishing their meal, they helped to clean up and dispose of the trash. The teapot was left on the table, as someone would come by in the morning to collect it.
"Eating a meal with loved ones amidst the natural beauty of the surrounding mountains was both delicious and joyful."

DAY 4
The alarm clock rang a few times, and it was me again who had to wake up. 555555 I hurried to take a shower and get dressed. Just as I was about to finish, I opened the door and **BAM!** It was raining! It had been drizzling since early morning, but it must have been so light that I didn't even notice it inside. But I had heard on the TV news that there would be a storm today. And I had planned to go up to Mon Cham to see the flowers. Oh well, too bad. (She doesn't know, hahaha!) It doesn't look like it's going to stop raining anytime soon. Oh well, what can you do? Mon Cham is only about 1 kilometer away from our accommodation. I'll just go up there for breakfast and then... goodbye, Mon Cham in the drizzling rain.
The Enchanting M่อนแจ่ม: A Haven for Fresh Produce and Scenic Delights
Nestled amidst the mountainous terrain, M่อนแจ่ม, also known as the Nong Hoi Royal Project, is a haven for fresh, locally-grown produce. This idyllic destination is renowned for its abundance of crisp vegetables and succulent strawberries, offering a delightful culinary experience for visitors.
Upon arriving at M่อนแจ่ม, a distinctive landmark awaits: a cluster of parked vehicles equipped with snow chains. This serves as a subtle cue to turn left and embark on the search for a suitable parking spot. Once settled, visitors can leisurely stroll towards the designated seating areas, ready to immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere.
The seating area is arranged along the ridge of the hill, in the form of small pavilions, giving the feeling of truly dining amidst nature. (It's a pity that if it hadn't rained, there would have been beautiful views to share with you all.)
To save time, let's go upstairs and order food first.
Choose whatever you like, sweets, sandwiches, coffee, Thai tea. What would you like to eat? Tick-tock, tick-tock, tick-tock.
An employee will be there to take your order and write the price on the receipt. You can then pay at the counter over here.
For those who dislike sitting cross-legged, the order counter area offers long table seating reminiscent of school cafeterias. The wait is minimal, with orders arriving within 10 minutes.
Morning My Breakfast A Western-style breakfast with waffles, ham, and fried eggs looks great when enjoyed in this kind of atmosphere.
Followed by fried chicken wings, fried minced pork, crispy pork belly with sorrel leaves in Tom Yum soup, crispy vegetable salad, and 2 plates of plain rice.
Looking at it all together, it looks even more delicious. It's all good...if it's refreshing.
Translation:
Note: While the price may seem a bit high for the amount of food, the freshness of the ingredients from the Royal Project and the stunning mountaintop location make it worthwhile. The taste of the food is also exceptional, leaving no room for complaints. You won't be disappointed, I guarantee it!
The view is completely obscured by dense fog.
There is a chance that I will come back again, but I don't know when. We'll see later. It might be better at the end of the year. I won't encounter rain, but I will encounter people.
The heavy rain was truly refreshing. Before leaving Mon Cham, there was a path leading to the Camping zone. It's interesting.
As you descend from Mon Cham, you will encounter shops selling fresh strawberries and processed products such as strawberry juice and dried strawberries. Consider purchasing some as a gift for your parents.
Before entering Bangkok, we stopped by Phra That Lampang Luang in Lampang Province to pay our respects and seek blessings.
The temple's beauty is evident in its multi-tiered, pointed archways, adorned with intricate stucco patterns.
Female visitors wearing shorts or revealing clothing are advised to rent a sarong before ascending to the upper level of the pagoda to pay respects. A sarong rental booth can be found just past the temple sign. (Rental fee: 20 baht/piece)

You may now proceed to the inner sanctum for veneration.
Upon entering, we encounter the Royal Chapel, which houses the Mandapa of King Lanna Thong. The chapel's walls are adorned with ancient murals depicting Jataka tales.
The majestic and elegant stupa, towering in the Lanna style.
Next is the Wihan Nam Taem, which houses a bronze Buddha statue in the Mara-Vijaya posture. The murals within the Wihan are now largely faded, but are said to be the oldest and only remaining of their kind in Thailand.
After walking around the temple for a while, we decided to leave. Don't forget to return the sarong.
Across the street from the temple, there is a horse-drawn carriage service that offers rides around Wat Phra That Lampang Luang. The price per ride is unknown.
Those who want to take a stylish photo on a horse-drawn carriage with the temple as a backdrop (it's so iconic) pay 20 baht per person for as many shots as you want. Make the most of it! 55555 So I grabbed my mischievous nephew to be the model for a bit. One, two, three, click!
I feel sorry for the horse. It's so hot that its head is drooping. Even humans are feeling the heat, so imagine how the animals must be feeling.
Currently, there is road construction in some sections, and the road is in poor condition in some areas. This is because the road is being diverted to the left and right lanes alternately.
Endure the hardship for a while (tell yourself?) 55555 Encountered heavy rain at intervals, ran into it carelessly, ouch!
After the rain, this image appeared... there it is, "the way back home."
We stopped at a gas station to refuel, grab some snacks, and buy souvenirs. After that, we drove straight home, arriving around 9:30 PM. The total trip took 4 days and 3 nights, covering a distance of 2,084.8 kilometers. I'm so full, I could puke! I can't believe I didn't throw up. I'm so lucky.

Reflection:
Taking a break from work and spending some time on yourself is important. Plan your trips for the year and set goals. Save money during the end-of-year period and avoid excessive shopping. Instead, use that money for travel during long holidays. Even though the journey may be challenging, it's worth it to discover hidden gems. You won't know what you're missing until you try. Thank you to my travel companions and to everyone who has followed my journey to this point.
This is my travel story of Mae Hong Son - Chiang Mai. See you again : )
