TRIP 3: November 10-14, 2016

Doi Ang Khang (Agricultural Station - Viewpoint - Base of Operations - Ban Khop Dong - Thai-Burmese Border - Strawberry Farm)

The sentence is already in English and does not require translation.

This post will provide a brief overview of my travel experience.

The atmosphere was incredibly pleasant, making for a truly enjoyable experience. This led to a spontaneous photoshoot, which we (perhaps somewhat presumptuously) deemed to be quite stylish.

We would like to present the beauty of the atmosphere through pictures.

'I hope that those who pass by or stumble upon this, see the pictures and feel inspired to go and take some cool photos themselves.'

Start : Travel

For our budget-friendly trip,

Our journey began with a bus ride. We booked a bus from Bangkok to Ban Tha Kathon through the Bus Terminal of Thailand (BKS).

The bus departs at 4:50 PM. Please remember to inform the staff that you will be getting off at Ang Khang Intersection (in front of Wat Han Samran).

At approximately 8:00 AM, we arrived at the Ang Khang Intersection, or in front of Wat Samran.

If you are passing by, don't forget to stop by and play with the adorable dogs at Wat Hanyasamran.

We then looked for a car to hitchhike up to Doi Ang Khang.

However, it is extremely rare to find any, as it is still early in the morning.

The red truck driver who will go up the mountain to pick up tourists from above will be here soon.

They kindly offered us a ride up the mountain at an affordable price.

  • To Doi Ang Khang

We have finally arrived at Doi Ang Khang!

Our accommodation for tonight is 'Lau Ting'. (It seems) all accommodations do not have air conditioning or fans, as the weather is cold all year round.

  • For those who do not sleep in tents during the high season, it is recommended to book accommodation in advance.

Especially if you want to stay at the agricultural station, you need to book 1-2 months in advance.

Upon our arrival at Doi, the rain started pouring down, forcing us to scramble for raincoats.

As check-in is not available until 13:00, access to the accommodation is not yet possible.

We left our bags and went looking for something to eat. We ended up at a Yunnan noodle shop.

The restaurant offers both thin rice noodles and thicker egg noodles. The egg noodles are similar to "mee sua" noodles.

Taste preferences vary, but I personally found it to be quite delicious.

Must-try menu items that the whole gang agreed were incredibly delicious.

This is 'fried tofu'. The outside is crispy, while the inside is soft tofu. It is served with the restaurant's special dipping sauce.

After a satisfying meal, we continued our journey to the **Royal Agricultural Station Ang Khang**.

Let me take a quick photo before we go in.

Admission fee is 50 baht per person.

Let's go in and take some photos!

Warning: The following content contains a large number of images.

Crossing the river, you will find a vegetable patch that gives you a strong Japanese vibe.

Walk a little further and you will find the bonsai tree.

Take a picture with the maple leaves.

Hello, Maple Tree.

As you walk along, you will encounter miniature horses. There is a service that allows you to ride them and take pictures.

Note: The original text is empty, so the translation is also empty.

Take a break and enjoy a refreshing cup of coffee at the Royal Project Coffee Shop.

We spent approximately 2-3 hours at the Ang Khang Royal Agricultural Station.

Photography enthusiasts will undoubtedly spend an entire day at this location.

Exhausted and weary from the long walk, the first drops of rain began to fall.

We decided to return to our accommodation to rest and regain our strength while waiting for the rain to stop.

Those who want to travel abroad to beautiful places but do not have enough time or budget.

This is another option that I can assure you has an atmosphere that is just as beautiful as anywhere abroad.
