Amidst the frenetic pace of modern life, where the world seems to spin faster than ever, many find themselves exhausted, struggling to keep up with the relentless demands of daily existence. If you seek a sanctuary, a tranquil corner of Thailand where time slows its relentless march, look no further...

I, a travel enthusiast, recommend a hidden gem, a place where you can take a leisurely stroll and immerse yourself in the tranquility. Breathe in the fresh air and embrace the unhurried pace of life in this charming town. Experience the essence of "Slow Life".

That's >> "Nan" ... slow ... slow ....that's it.

For this trip, we opted for a personal vehicle, my trusty Brio, which has accompanied me to countless destinations with accessible roads. Initially, I had planned to travel by bus both ways and rent a motorbike upon arrival. However, due to time constraints (only 2 days and 1 night) and a budget of 1,500 baht for this "Slow Life" experience, we decided to embark on this journey with my car.

Let's embark on a journey with us to Nan, which awaits our arrival. For this trip, we will gather at Ratchada on Friday evening after work. The wheels will start rolling at 7:00 PM, aiming to reach Pua District by morning. Along the way, we will make stops at gas stations for rest and refreshments. The journey will take approximately 12 hours.

...and this is what we did during our 2-day, 1-night trip...

- Tai Lue Coffee Shop, Pua District, Nan Province

- Phukhao Temple, Pua District, Nan Province

- Northern Thai pork noodle soup and Khao Soi from Mae Suni in Nan Province.

- Phumin Temple, Nan Province

- Lilawadi Tunnel, Nan Province

- Wat Phra That Chae Haeng, Nan Province

- Camping at Doi Samer Dao, Nan Province.

- Watch the sunset at Doi Samer Dao, Nan Province.

- Stargazing at Doi Samer Dao, Nan Province.

- Embrace the misty embrace of Doi Samer Dao, Nan Province.

  • Phra That Cho Hae, Phrae Province

- Phra Buddha Chinnarat, Phitsanulok Province

The group travel expenses were shared equally, with each person contributing 1,500 baht, resulting in a total of 7,500 baht.

  • Fuel and gas for 1635.5 km - 1880

- Thai Lue coffee - 300 ** Coffee will cost around 30-50 baht. **

- **Highly recommended:** Grilled pork and dipping sauce sets for 200-600 baht. Perfect for enjoying the atmosphere, grilling right in front of your tent.

- Park entrance fee + camping fee - 380 ** Camping fee is 30 baht per person and there is a service to rent a sleeping mat and sleeping bag.

- Food expenses for various meals on this trip - 2000 ** Khao Soi Mae Sun + Che Lek **

- Supplies on Doi Pha Hom Pok - 940 ** I stopped by 7-11 to buy lunch boxes, snacks, water, and sweets because there is only 1 shop on the mountain right now.**

- Others - 1400 ** Coffee, snacks for the round trip, and souvenirs **

At 8:00 AM on a Saturday morning, we arrived at "Tai Lue Coffee Shop, Pua District, Nan Province."
It's a shop with a very "Slow Life" atmosphere.

This photo was taken in panoramic mode to capture the breathtaking view of Wat Phukhao in Pua District, Nan Province.
Wat Phukhao is only 4 kilometers away from the Tai Lue Coffee Shop.

For lunch, I had Khao Soi at Mae Sunyee Restaurant in Mueang District. The restaurant is located approximately 65 kilometers from Wat Phra That Doi Kham. I made a special trip to this restaurant.

After a satisfying lunch, we walked to Wat Phumin.

"Whispering Love Spreads Around the World" is a mural painting inside Wat Phumin, depicting "Pu Man and Ya Man".

This is the English translation of the Thai phrase "วัดพระธาตุแช่แห้ง".

Doi Samer Dao, Nan Province

We arrived at Doi Samer Dao around 4:30 p.m. after a day of sightseeing in Nan city.

The distance from Nan city to Doi Samer Dao is approximately 80 kilometers, taking about 1.30 hours.

The road between Ma is in good condition, smooth and not steep.

And here it is... our sleeping quarters. The tent can accommodate 5 people. It took us about 10 minutes to find the perfect spot to pitch our tent.

A breathtaking sunrise at Doi Pha Hom Pok National Park

The sentence describes a scene at Doi Pha Hom Pok National Park, specifically at 6:00 AM in the morning. The Thai word "ดอยเสมอดาว" translates to "Doi Pha Hom Pok," which is a mountain in Chiang Mai, Thailand, known for its stunning views and starry night sky.

Therefore, the translated sentence evokes a picturesque image of the early morning at Doi Pha Hom Pok, where visitors can witness a breathtaking sunrise amidst the serene natural beauty of the national park.

Although the morning sun is not visible, it is still a good experience to encounter an atmosphere shrouded in mist.

The cool, refreshing air brought smiles to everyone's faces as they happily took photos.

...After enjoying the morning atmosphere for a while, it's time to descend the mountain.

First, you need to complete your tasks, such as showering, brushing your teeth, and packing your belongings, including your sleeping bag and tent.

At 8:00 AM, we began our journey from Doi Pha Hom Pok National Park, with the intention of making stops along the way until we reach Bangkok.

The first stop will be a passage through "Sao Din Na Noi" >> Stop for lunch in Phrae Province >> Worship at Phra That Cho Hae in Phrae Province >> And continue to Phra Buddha Chinnarat in Phitsanulok Province >> After that, travel back to Bangkok.

Finally, we at #ฅนชอบเที่ยว would like to express our gratitude to everyone who joined us on this journey.
