Ubon Ratchathani - Bang Sue Junction

We started our journey from Ubon Ratchathani by Thai train 3rd class, the destination is Bang Sue Junction Railway Station.

Then we continued by Thai train 3rd class (Southern Line), the destination is Khlong Jandee Station.

Jan Dee Morning Market.

After crossing the railway, you will find the Jan Dee Morning Market. Look for the Nakhon Si Thammarat - Jan Dee songthaew and take it for another 30 minutes.

Upon reaching the village entrance, we had to take another local bus to get to the village itself.

Fortunately, the kind bus driver offered to take us to the village for free.

We visited during the rainy season, and the air was refreshingly cool. We encountered some rain, and the trees were lush and green. The fog was incredibly dense, and the water in the streams was flowing quite rapidly. Due to the strong currents, there were signs prohibiting swimming in the streams during this time.

I traveled to Khao Kiri Wong alone, and on the first day I arrived, it rained all day long, so I didn't know where to go. Mr. Phu, the owner of the homestay, invited me to walk in the forest behind the house. We walked up the hill to see the view of the village from the top. The air here is really good.

The next morning, we borrowed bicycles from our accommodation and cycled around the village. The morning air was fresh, and the rain had stopped. Today, we planned to go play in the waterfall and relax by the stream.

The view of the stream flowing through the village is charming, reminiscent of the Japanese countryside.

The last day of our trip to Khao Kiri Wong, Teacher Phak and P'Phu dropped us off at the front of the village by songthaew.

Thank you very much for taking such good care of us.

Traveling to Khao Kiri Wong alone this time was not lonely at all. It was really fun.
