Koh Samet is open for day trips only, as it is a protected nature reserve managed by the Royal Thai Navy. Overnight stays are not permitted on the island. Most tourists choose to stay in the town of Sattahip, which offers a wide range of accommodation options. However, if you prefer to stay closer to the pier, there are accommodations available along the way to the Samae San Pier. Tickets for the boat trip to Koh Samet can be purchased at the Nature Museum Welcome Building. The journey to the island takes approximately 30 minutes.


The boat fare is 300 baht for a round trip.

Free shuttle service on the island (pick-up from Haad Thian Pier to Haad Look Lom, which is only 1 kilometer away).

- Glass-bottom boat coral viewing fee: 20 baht

- Canvas bed fee 20 baht

- Kayak rental fee is 100 baht per hour.

The island offers free shower and toilet facilities. There are also small shops selling papaya salad, grilled chicken, and other light meals.
